• Tecra 8000 composite video output

  I'm running the video output from my tecra 8000 via yellow composite video connector at the rear of the unit. I thought it was as simple as pluging in both sides of a RCA (one end to the video input of a video recorder) Jack and the other end into the video Tecra.
  I get NOTHING on the screen. What I am doing wrong?

  Hello

  normally, you have to pass the video signal in the composite connection.
  For this (on newer models at least) by pressing FN + F5.
  This combination toggles the 'next' display/device combination
  If the videodevice primary and standard is the internal TFT, pressing FN + F5 once going to signal internal both TFT and RGB (monitor connector). Next time you press it, it will only in RGB, and next time, again, it should go to the TV output (composite).

  The program monitor is empty. I've got audio of counting. I can get staff to record the signal, but in composite video, nothing comes through. The video and audio signals are through my card of cause on an external monitor and speakers, but the program monitor is just empty.

  Already old version 6.5.14 but the problem persists.

  Contacted support via chat. Is that the rendering engine has been set to OpenCL rather than Cuda. To do this, go to 'file/project settings/general' at the top of this is the rendering engine of access. If it isn't on Cuda and you Cuda, then you will not have playback. Problem solved.   The CC2015 ranges are found on a "Lumetri Scopes" tab in the top left panel so the color workspace and the central panel Lumetri Scopes tab in the workspace of the effects.

  Hi Lily,

  Go to the file/project settings/general and change the rendering on "Mercury Playback Engine software only" engine.

  Press OK, you will get a dialog box in which you must select 'Remove Previews'.

  Try these steps and see if it works.

• View scopes and composite video at the same time?

  Is it not possible to view video scopes and composite video in the source or program monitors simultaneously? It seems that only the option to view scopes or composite video, but not both (as in FCPX) exist.

• Composite video using 2D camera tracker?

  I can composite images 2D (key for example person) in one hand, push forward using Tracker camera in AE (much 3D text)? Or is it better to use another plugin or program?

  I ended up having to create a new project, select the the CPU processing, the old CPU project and Recheck in my preferences to import.  Unfortunately this update cost me 2 hours of time to fix as well for me and my client. Not impressed.
