Output switching PWM of routing

Hello

I want to put in place a control loop with 2 PWM signals that would be connected to 2 inputs of a H-bridge drive an electric motor. So we PWM would make the engine go to the right, the other to the left. (similar to a controller of hot/cold)

Two independent counters are available (PXI6602).

When I want to change the meaning, I have to turn off the signal PWM one and turn on the other. However, duty cycle 0,0 is not allowed. I could stop the one / start another task and vice versa, but this seems very heavy.

Is it possible to direct the output of counter (i.e. the PWM signal) through a digital line? In this way, I could keep the PWM 'dormant' clocked at minimum cyclical report, while the 'active' PWM does its job and only inhibit the respective output digital line zero - ING it.

Thank you for your attention.

Michael

Hi Michael,

I found an example which is probably satisfying your requirements. Here is the link:

  • PowerConnect 6248 switch for Cisco router

    Hello

I'm new to this forum and I have a problem at the moment between a Cisco router and a dell pc6248. The problem is that I lost conectivity in VLAN 1 when I connect the router to a trunk port in the switch, however I conectivity VLAN 2 through this link to trunk. The configuration of the switch:

    interface ethernet 1/g48

    switchport mode trunk

switchport trunk allowed vlan add 1-2

    output

    interface ethernet 1/g43

    switchport mode access

    switchport access vlan 2

    output

    On router

    fast interface 0/1

    no ip address

    no downtime

    IP 192.200.3.1 255.255.255.0

    encapsulation dot1q 2

    IP 192.168.51.33 255.255.255.248

    output

With the above configuration, I lost conectivity with the host in the vlan 1 - 192.200.3.x/24, but I win conectivity VLAN 2, when I connect the router to the 48 trunk port in the switch. This means that the trunk link for VLAN 2 work but not for VLAN 1.

I read on the port of general mode, where I can configure the pvid of the port as 1 (vlan1) and it would be the unttag VLAN (even natively in Cisco), and I can configure the VLAN 2 like the tag, all this in the same port. What do you think about this? Someone have set up something like that?

  • Sending a pulse to pin using an output switch

    Hello

This is my first program in labview.

I want to use a while loop continually between data for the acquisition of data that displays on an oscilloscope. The output signal must be controlled by a switch (0 when the switch is open) and 1 when the button is pressed.

I put a toggle switch in the while loop and connected the output to data acquisition Manager, but he demonstrated a connection error.

    Source type is Boolean.

Type of sink is 64-bit real.

So, how can I convert data from the switch so that it gets feeding the DAQ output?

    Thank you.

    Soham_S wrote:

When the switch is off, he sends a zero, when turned on, it sends a 1.

You will need to keep DAQmx inside the while loop probably you can use the structure of the event to do this. Also even if you set up the digital output you must select channel instead of multiples (unless you really have multiple channels) then you can connect the switch directly to it.

  • relay output switches together

    Hello

I'm currently testing a simplified system of PID before I run the entire process. The system consists of a heating controlled by a relay and an RTD cushion that feeds back the temperature. Everything works very well. I have a simple Subvi which, according to the block of PID, exit lights relay for awhile about every 5 seconds. I set the system with only one relay and rtd and it worked fine. Now, I tried to put the two relays in the system and they seem to only run alternately. For example, if so they turn on once every 5 seconds, now, one turns, then seconds an active, doubling the time between them turning on. I know that they can turn on at the same time as I have tested that and even changed back to make sure that is not the issue. It seems that it is something in the code, I put together to pass. If anyone has any ideas, that would be great.

Attached are the simplified PID loop and the Subvi turn on the relay.

Start by making the reentrant Subvi and see if that helps.  (File > VI properties > run.)

  • How is the best way to connect the configuration of my router and switch?

I have a cable modem. connect to a switch, I have 2 computers connected to the switch. I also just connected my router wireless switch. That's the best configuration or I lose my firewall of the router in passing is not by ports directly above?

Most of the cable modems will give an IP address, so connect a switch to the modem and then connection of two computers and a router to the switch will usually result in one of these three devices, get an IP address (and internet connection), while the other two will not be.  (Notice that I guess a true "Modem" and not a "Modem/Router" device).  The correct configuration would be to connect your router to the modem (router gets the unique IP address).  The router can then process from the addresses IP what either side LAN of the router, then plug the devices you need (including switch) to the router's LAN ports.  This also ensures that all devices will be on the same subnet that your connection scheme to separate devices on the router wireless from the other two devices on the switch (here, assuming that you have a router/Modem device).

Yes. It is better to have just a modem ordinary to avoid double NAT issues as well as port easier opening if it is necessary to do so.

  • Cisco SG 300-20 switch connects to the router

    Hello

I try to install my new switch Cisco SG300-20 in my local network, but I'm not succeed.

The SG 300-20 fails to connect to my router.

When the router is directly connected to the SG 300-20 I fails to obtain the DHCP configuration. Any port I try fails.

When I add a former switch between the router and the SG 300-20, SG 300 - 20 manages to get the DHCP configuration.

When I use a static IP on the SG 300-20 and the router is directly connected, it is not an operational bridge in the IPv4 configuration.

Where I'm looking for a solution?

The SG 300-20 is maybe defective and I would stay there?

A few things you can check are:

See if the system is blinking. If it is the default ip address. If it is solid the IP address has changed due to a static assignment or DHCP.

If no link light is on or the system flashes, the reason why could not tear out DHCP is due to a shift of port negotiation. Try setting the port on the router or the full 100 MB switch or what ever you like just to see if that helps.

Make sure that you are also on the latest firmware.

Try factory default of the switch with the button of reset for 45 seconds.

  • The managed behind router switch remote access?

What is the best way to access remotely to a switch behind a router?  I will use a switch SF300, and there is no server.

For points of access (PA) behind a router, I give each a diffferent LAN address and port number.  In router I have forward TCP traffic with the single port/LAN IP.  Then using the port numbers with the address of the static router, the browser can remote access to the router or the attached AP.  But where do I put the managed switch LAN port number?  Assume default is port 80 and I would change to 8001 to switch #1; 8002 to switch #2; etc.  Could not find this info in the manual of configurtion.

    Hello

At this point, I would recommend a call to the Cisco Small Business Centre at 1-866-606-1866 support so that action can be taken and your configuration can be reviewed.

I have reproduced the concern here and I am able to remotely manage my switch SF300 with an RV082 as the router.

My rule in the RV082 are as follows:

Creating a custom topic UPnP service.  Create SF300 application name (it is a basic text field and can be any name), 8001 an external port and internal port 80.  I send to the address IP internal SF300 switch and click the check box.  From there on, I select Add to the list.  Once it appears in my list, I then click Save settings at the bottom of the page.

    Thank you!

  • How is it that a computer which works very well with a direct Ethernet connection won't work with a switch, however any other computer using the same port, cable, ect, and so on, can?

    Switch issues. Help, please.

How is it that a computer which works very well with a direct Ethernet connection won't work with a switch, however any other computer using the same port, cable, ect, and so on, can? We already checked the firewall as a question, that it was not, and now, we are puzzled.

Well, I know that the issue is long-term... believe me, it's a long, but as they say, the devil is in the details. Anywho, the question is, my grandfather has a HP laptop, which for two years has been able to run through a Linksys switch to his router and connect its printers to his laptop. About two months ago it suddenly doesn't work like that. Now, it works fine if it plugs directly into the router/Ethernet. My uncle suggested that the switch was bad, but after testing the same port, cable and all, the switch worked well for him. ' GRAMPS really needs this answered, but someone else, it is called can not understand and now I, in turn, ask you all for what you can offer. Here are the ideas that we have already discredited.

-Switch bad: as above, is that this particular laptop, even under identical conditions, the works of my uncle very well.
-Bad NIC: debunked through the fact we connected to the computer directly to the router and it worked fine.
-Bad configuration of the firewall: we have disabled the firewall (please do not notice, he wasn't the smartest idea, we already know) and even if she recorded the switch exists, the internet is always triggered when you are connected with the switch.

Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can provide and Merry Christmas to you all.

It would be useful to consult the results of the ipconfig/all command both when it is connected to the switch and when it is connected directly to the router.  In addition, what is the model of the switch?

To save the manual copy and the new hits of the ipconfig/all command output-

    First connect through switch.
Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
Type the following lines in the black command prompt window and press ENTER after each line

echo "Connected via the button" > "% UserProfile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt".
    ipconfig/all > "% UserProfile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt".

Now connect directly to the router, type the following lines in the command prompt window and press ENTER after each line

echo "Connected to the router" > "% UserProfile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt".
    ipconfig/all > "% UserProfile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt".
    Notepad '% UserProfile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt '.
    output

Copy the contents of the Notepad window in your response (if you use the laptop when it is connected directly to the router) or close the Notepad window, and then copy ipinfo.txt of the laptop to the Gramps in a USB FlashDrive you can connect to any computer allows you to answer.

You can delete ipinfo.txt on the desktop when you are finished.
