  Hate to say, but probably without taking into account some hardware requirements Windows 8 looking for maybe even not available in the motherboard, as DEP (Data Execution Prevention). • 520 - 1020UK: Windows 10 - Office upgrade flashing and cannot use

  I have seen many people announcement about all over the internet, but for the moment do not found a clear solution to my problem. I registered for the upgrade everything on time and the 'check' has said that my system was very good. It is a HP TouchSmart 520 and 2 to 3 years.

  Today I got the message saying that I could do the upgrade and everything seemed to be fine, no errors during installation. However, as soon as a user opens a session on the desktop just flashes and you cannot access anything other than ctrl-alt-del and the Task Manager.

  I tried to boot into safe mode and try an update of windows (boot in safe mode with no Flash), but he can't find anything, and I looked on the HP website to see if there is a driver W10. It gives you a file to download which must check the drivers, but that does not work in safe mode then a non-starter. And if I use the HP site it basically says that you need to use the windows update; that just sits there doing nothing.

  If I go into Device Manager and try to update it says that the graphics driver is up to date. I'm a little cut that the HP site suggests that it is a product that has not been tested with W10, but Microsoft control said everything ok. Help, please

  Sorting problem, an answer on the forum to Microsoft solved the problem. I downloaded Norton removal tool (Norton was mentioned as a possible cause) and deleted all of this - and now the PC works fine. Now to connect with Norton, I'd paid subscription for the next year!

• Satellite P870 - problems with WiFi after Win 8.1 upgrade

  Wireless Internet is hopeless.
  Maybe that 3 to 10 pages will load correctly or not at all, for most not at all.
  Other wireless devices in the House are fine, as is the use of the Ethernet.

  Checked the drivers through the Device Manager, says that they are up to date.

• Slow down or frozen system when you run Time Machine

  My entire system has been slow and I'm getting a lot of beach balls and frozen software/accidents of spinning. It is also slow to wake up and sometimes freezes when I try to log on my user account. I tried a number of things - routine maintenance, looking at activity monitor to see what is using RAM, reinstall MS Office, upgrade to El Capitan and two trips to the Genius Bar-(who showed none of the software or obvious hardware problems). Sort of, I noticed that when I run backup TM, the machine seems to be the slowest. I bought a new backup disk - thinking it was my external HD itself which was not (it is several years old) - but this does not appear to have solved the problem. And the machine ran faster in the Apple Store at home (of course) when my outside was not plugged.

  Anyone seen this before? Is it possible to 'clean up' Time Machine in case that is what is at the root of the problem?

  The genius of Apple suggested that he could be something corrupted in my user account and not related to TM, but not to delete my account, he had no any solution!

• Portege M700: Message DEP, saying he has turned off the Tablet PC Component

  Are you serious? It's what - after I spent almost 4 hours updating the BIOS, Windows Vista SP1 and MS Office then set up Outlook for Exchange server and HSDPA too?

  Looks like there is only not all tested against Vista and Office upgrades...

  You can still leave the active DEP but could add the Tablet PC Component (touchpen) to the list of applications that are ignored by the DEP.

  You could do this in:
  Control Panel-> system-> system settings-> advanced-> first button settings tab advanced-> last tab Data Execution Prevention (DEP)

  Here, you can choose the second option and could ad the touchpen (exe) to the list

  I have a video performance of bad quality on my machine as well as the fan power of the issues.

  To add to my frustration the WinPhlash program included in the BIOS version 3.8 empty out trying to flash which gives a PHLASHNT. SYS failed to load the message with different error codes (codes 5 and 147 depending if I launch the exe, as it is extracted from the ZIP, or run the files extracted independently).

  I checked all permissionings on the record and I definitely full control - but still a generic message of "check your accounts, if you do not have permissions please log in again!" is displayed.

  help with my problem of BIOS would be apreciated.

  I replaced Outlook 2003 with Outlook 2007 as part of an Office upgrade

  My update, history shows that the update for the junk e-mail in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (KB2596972) filter did not install repeatedly - it is not surprising that I have not run Outlook 2003

  When I close there is always an option to install an update

  When I turn on my computer, a window opens for Windows Installer and nothing happens for a considerable time, until finally the window disappears and the machine displays the normal desktop.
  Sometimes, the window appears once again when I use the machine, but for a much shorter time.

  How can I stop this update facility, trying to run please?

  I wonder if anyone here can answer me before getting assistance on the phone.
  So, recently, my laptop was stolen. I had a Windows 8.1 Pro pack upgrade here with a 2010 office upgraded to 2013 in respect of supply of limited at the launch of the latter.

  When I try to type the serial number of the Pro pack even on the new laptop (the chances are very good that even if one stolen is recovered the HARD drive will be formatted), it says something about the activation for the given SN being exceeded limit and refused to activate the copy, though install it correctly.

  So, is there any chance of getting guys to the millisecond to reset the activation on the pack Pro SN limit? And is it possible to do the same thing with the Office Suite?

  1. press the Windows key + X , and then clickrun, and then type: slui.exe 4

  I want to upgrade my Windows 8 for Windows 7 computer so that it is more compatible with the programs that I run. However, there are no drivers for Windows 7 for HP p2-1317cb.

  Where can I find drivers for Windows 7? Please release drivers if none have been released so I can upgrade.

  The primary program, that we rely on this system is not compatible with Windows 8 and will not work in compatibility mode. I tried running it in a virtual system, but it als requires DirectX and a lot of video memory.

  After reformatting, it seems that I just need a driver for the CARD, but having the best graphics driver would be nice.
