Pandahome evil Droid does

Ive recently been Pandahome reading and I installed at a given time, but became scared that it would infringe on my Droid, out of curiosity, is able to harm my droid Pandahome?

BTW: my droid is NOT ENRACINEE.

as I said, I tried Panda Home, aHome, Home ++ etc, and none have an impact on the stock home screen. so go ahead, try all of them, find one you like and you don't need to worry about spoiling them anything.

BTW, if you like the default look you can try Launcher + to get multiple home screens, but retain the default appearance

  • Contacts on my Droid does not sync properly with my Google contacts

What should I do if my contacts on my Droid is not correctly synchronize with my Google contacts?  I only sync my contacts on my Droid with Google contacts, (when I synced with my company address book and added a new contact in my Droid I literally hundreds of the same new contacts to one contact added to my Droid).  A few weeks ago, my contacts has stopped adding new contacts from my Google to my Droid.  Updates to old contacts sometimes work and sometimes not.  I turned off and turned on my Google contacts sync on my Droid and rebooted my Droid and he turned his back and I still have the same problem.  I don't want to do a factory reset (throwing the baby out with the bathwater in my opinion).  Deletion of my account Google's Droid and time it would solve the problem?  I currently 217 contacts in Google and 213 on my Droid, but I don't want to have to update each, whenever I get a new contact.  I also find what is updated and what is not would be laborious.  Thanks, Annette

There is an application named "delete contact" who should do it. Before you delete it please make a backup of your contacts in case something goes wrong. Just precaution. You can export your contacts from your Gmail account. You can do it from the phone also, but I guess that's your Gmail account that you want to save. There must be some contacts which merged. It's the only thing I can think of as to why the number of contacts would be different.  I hope this helps.

  • Can you Record calls on Moto Droid? All the apps? Most of the legal States

Any Verizon Droid phone model is worthless if I can't record phone calls, both sides as my Palm phone. What is legal in the U.S. States, some N.C. wort... I've heard rumors that Verizon's Motorola Droid does not permit recording of phone calls without the old vacuum and a recorder separated... really of the 70s. Does anyone know of an app. I have googled and looked everywhere, but must have missed it. Thanks: [email protected]

"No matter what model of phone Verizon Droid is worthless if I can't record phone calls, both sides as my Palm phone"

This is what it takes to make a phone without value? There is no suction cup which is compatible with most mobile phones and they do not work with smartphones. How you would cover the speaker and the microphone of a suction device and then still hear and talk into it?

This Palm phone is maybe what you really need.

  • Hebrew on the Droid

How can I go on the application for assistance for Hebrew on the Droid?

    > Is there an official guide for the rooting Droid?

Laughing out loud! No - of course that non - rooting your Droid is not supported by the manufacturer (Motorola) or distributor (Verizon).

While rooting your Droid does not void your warranty, it can leave you up a Creek without a paddle (IE, without the support of the Moto or VZW) If screw you something up... it is not advisable unless you already know what you are doing - and know how to save your existing system software so that you can re - install.

Here in the forums of Motorola sponsored is definitley not the place to talk about rooting.

For information and advice, please visit:

    www.alldroid.org

-they just moved their Council to a BBS system so it can be difficult to find stuff - but the info is there.

    Also, check out AndroidForums.com, specifically

    This link

But once again, and I can't say enough: If you don't know what you're doing when it comes to install a linux style operating sysytem, is maybe not for you. Play with the operating system, you are left to get help from other users - Motorola and VZW will not be able to help you.

  • Frustrated by process of Motorola for repair... address to ship to?

My son's droid does not work properly, it will be:

Reboot your system with its own and sometimes will enter a reboot loop again and again

Sometimes reboot to a bootload black screen

sometimes reboot and finally turns on but have no service

Change the date to January 1969

We did restore factory a couple of times removed the battery to help it get reset the countless times.

Other times it may work for a day or two at a time without any problem... anyway, it is under warranty, but try to get a RMA # (which I finally) was almost impossible.  Called motorola and hear talk about the motorola (online) troubleshooting tool, but decide to simply talk to someone.  Someone gets on the line and said that calls are saved so that they could remember... I decide to just use the online troubleshooting tool and make the presentation of online repair.  I'm going through all online deal and on the last step when I press on continue he always comes up with a message saying "sorry your device is not recognized in our system."  So I call back the next day and get the same story while giving them my phone number and they would call me back as soon as they could, so I did.  I'M STILL WAITING AS THE CALLBACK.  So I'm doing the live chat and the person of motorola decided that needs phone sent... Then, he sends me an email with directions to send it in... HOWEVER, the email directs me to the online troubleshooting tool!  Already tried.  Called again and got someone on the phone within a reasonable time, but the phone call took 36 minutes.  He has submitted Everything to me and gave me my RMA and sent an email with instructions and, probably, the address where to ship it... Apparently he didn't send it or get my email wrong because I'm still waiting to get it... so

Does anybody know what address (through motorola) to ship the droid to repair?

    You're going to love technology!

    Thank you

    Darren

I agree with the other post 2 but 1 thing to keep in mind is (I discovered) If your droid is over a period of thirty days, then they will have to send for a unit "certified like new" refurbished for me it worked well enough it took 2-3 days and the phone I got works as well as a new and something else is if you come back to a refurbished phone , you will need to keep your battery and extend as well as your original droid microSD card the renovated does not include these items, why I'm not sure but it worked well and is really not that big of a problem at least I didn't think so good luckwith he...

  • Emailing forms

My job is creating a model of time card for our employees to be able to quickly fill on their phone and their time in the week by e-mail. We already have the card as a form of adobe, the question we have becomes the card by e-mail back empty after they filled. Some employees have iPhone 5s and some have Motorola Droid Maxx. Give the iPhone the "share the flat copy" option and the time card is delivered by email with all necessary information. The droid does not have this option and come by e-mail white back. I've seen a few other message (s) referring to the same issue of the well for more than a year, but responses were not clear and I didn't know if there was a solution yet. Please help with what options are available.

    Thank you

    Robin

    Hi Robin,

As you pointed out, Acrobat Reader for iOS offers the possibility of sharing a flat copy, unlike Acrobat Reader for Android not.

However, the two Acrobat Reader for iOS and Android apps support are complete and save changes to forms.

The PDF documents containing fields of form or annotations (highlight, Sticky Notes, drawing freehand, etc.) may appear blank in the PDF Viewer application (iBook, Apple Mail or Safari, for example) that you are using does not support the rendering of form or annotation fields.

Do you view PDF forms on your desktop / laptop or mobile device?  Is it possible that you open PDF forms in Apple Mail, iBooks or Safari on a Mac computer or iPad/iPhone?

Would you make sure to open PDF forms in Adobe Acrobat/Reader (instead of opening them in no Adobe PDF viewers)?

Please let us know if you have problems opening the PDF forms in Adobe Acrobat/Reader apps.

    Thank you

  • Add a contact to the "to:" line on messages and emails

I take a picture, want to send to several people, and the droid leaves me a void "to:" line flood of phone numbers and email addresses that I'm supposed to know off the top of my head and take the time to type in mini-bars.  Why can't pull contacts from my address book.  And Yes, I know that I can go to a contact and send them a message, but that does not help me when I want to send a picture of the kids 4 grandparents at the same time.  Even my old phones to select contacts in a list.  Why would the droid does not bind these things, please help.

just start typing the name and a drop-down list you will give a choice, select the one you want and then type a different name... keep repeating to add contacts to the to: line.

  • Error in observer start of remote node

    Hi all.

I have a cluster with two nodes Veritas (important step) with Data Guard. I have no shared disks, I know!

Now, I had set up an observer in one of the nodes that worked very well, but for obvious reasons, I tried to move it to a third node.

This is the error that I get and I have no idea how to solve out. What surprises me, is that evil 'parameter' does not appear even in Metalink.

    Alex.

After hours of digging on the web a Metalink, I found NOTING. Quite amazing.

However, I was suspicious of the versions, so I installed 11.2.0.4.

The bottom line (something that I could not find documented), home of the observer must use the same version as the database home.

BTW, Data Guard/observer/Dgmgrl documentation ready to confused and assume many things

  • Lost phone contact list

When I bought my Droid, Best Buy transferred my old phone to my Droid contact list.  It worked well until I must have hit some button that 'hidden' from my phone contacts list.  The list must always exist because when I get a call the Droid does appear the correct name from my list of contacts, but I still don't see the contact list when I touch 'Contacts' Does anyone know how to "Refresh" the contacts list view is visible again?

    Try this:

    Open your contacts

    Press the Menu key

    Select Display Options

    Click on your Gmail account

Make sure that the correct option has a green check mark by it.

    I hope this helps.

  • Droid Razr Maxx does not illuminate.

Last night my razr maxx droid turns with me it turned off. I tried to turn it back on but nothing happened. I plugged it in a still nothing happened, light does not flash. I know that the battery is not dead because I still had 70% abour left and leave plugged in overnight did not help. My best guess is that he crashed it, if anyone has had this problem and knows how to solve this problem or knows what may have caused it that I would like to know, and it won't happen with my replacement phone. I only had my phone for exactly two months. Thank you!

Update: Version informed me that an application actually caused to happen and he got to reset. Apparently, I was pushing the up volume button rather down.

Try a hard reset, press and hold the power and volume button until it starts back.

  • How does the droid runs faster with less APPS installed?

Then I started noticing my Droid dragged significantly to the point that it started to drive me crazy. I mean when I bought it was quick, smooth and AWEsOME! But after that I started to install on 50-100 APPs My Droid began to lagg. Initially, he remained at the same level as the Iphone 3GS, but after uploading a large number of applications, he couldn't catch up to the Iphone in terms of fluidity of the user interface. Like the animations would stutter or skip, transitions keyboard would be very unsmooth and typing was very uncomfortable. Dragging the status bar has become very lag, and if im browse apps on the market would take a long time to load compared to load in a splitsecond when I got to him (I have 3 G coverage)

I GOT SO MAD to the point that I uninstalled evey App I ever downloaded except for the Basic apps that have been packaged with the Droid. And you know what happened? BOOM! The Droid has become SUPER FAST. He remained neck and neck with the IPHONE 3GS. Everything worked without problems.

So, as soon as now, I don't like that 10 or 15 Apps. That sucks because that Im afraid to download games or anything like that because I'm afraid that my Droid is going to slow down again.

Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions to fix this? Because I don't want to freak out use a smartphone with only as 10APPS...

    Help, please

A PC uses RAM for the application processes. It temporarily stores the program into RAM so that it can communicate with the processor quickly. When the program is closed, it leaves the RAM to free up space for other applications/programs.

From my understanding, RAM on these mobile devices perform the same function, but its also used to store long term applications. Thus, when you downloaded applications from 50-100, which takes a lot of RAM space. If an application requires a bit of RAM to work properly, it may have to borrow some RAM from another application. This 'loan' of RAM will slow down the process on your device.

On another thread, Geoffrey explained how the RAM is an important part of storage apps to prevent over heating and other processing issues.

When you remove your apps, the aircraft had a ton of RAM to play with! He didn't have to borrow, so processing time has increased.

  • Firefox F - Droid on Replicant Android does not not to launch

Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, Firefox for Android of F-Droid on Replicant on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 do not work. At launch, it gives a message box "Firefox is not responding. You want to close? [Pending] [OK] "so I can not even change any settings or go to any URL, even a subject: URL. He has already worked on this device and the version of Replicant. I wonder if I need to manually delete the files that may remain after the uninstall and the problem? Any help much appreciated!

I found the answer, which is specific to Replicant Android:

  • Droid 2 Global Notification LED light does not.

I bought my phone about 3 months ago and a few days ago the notification light has stopped working. It does not work for text messages or low battery, basically he "burned." I tried a factory data reset and still no go. I was thinking about warranty replace the phone but I do not do this for some reason. Any ideas or is it fried? I know that I have all the apps that would make it only works do not, so I'm stuck between the hammer and the anvil.

I discovered what happened, apparently someone else who had the same problem found out that it's a wire loose which caused the problem, and you can warranty replace it. I hope just as if I do I don't have the same problem a month later.
