Panel VI easy printing

Hi all

I use this code with simple printing Panel VI or VI Documentation. My printer is a color printer, but I still get printed grey. What I'm missing here?

prior to color/grayscale, you use standard... use immutable...  10 parameters

  • Put option on the page does not work in the Easy Print VI Panel, controls tabs are not displayed

Found two problems with the screw of report generation:

    (1) in the Panel of VI feel easy (report generation) or the Documentation.vi, the layout options don't work (dug in the sub - VI and found that they are not connected to anything).

    (2) If you have the controls or the lights in a tab control and try to use the Easy Print VI Panel or Documentation.vi with the option to include controls in the report, they do not appear. The only indications/commands that appear are those that are displayed on all tabs (that is to say, to create a control and move it over the tab control so that it appears on every page).  There's a Subvi (Expand_control_ref_with_nested_controls.vi) which is called to handle the nested controls (IE, grapes, berries, etc...), but it should have a case to handle the controls tab.

    Hey Sajosie,

Dig into the Sub - VI you are right in saying that the Options available to the user input is not connected to anything for most cases. However, in the case of failure to "Quick Print" Layout Options are used to change the layout of the report. In help for this VI, he mentions that this entry is ignored for the report "Standard reports" and "HTML" options However, it does mention that this ignorance of Layout Options is expected for the 'word' or 'Excel' reports.

Especially regarding the controls and indicators in the report which appear on the tab controls, I can make a product suggestion to do this kind of design more compatible with the mere impression VI Panel façade or Documentation.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8620: Selection easy printing on tray 1 or 2

We have an Officejet Pro 8620 with extra paper tray. Tray 1 for Virgin paper, tray 2 for the paper with the logo of the company.

Now, when we want to print to tray 2, we reject Tray 1, whereas, after a few attempts the software switches to tray 2 and printing begins.

It is possible, before printing, to change the setting in the software, select printing for tray 2. But it's pretty heavy.

We want an easy way to select printing for Tray 1 or the tiroir2. For example, as seen in other environments, so that we can choose to print on:

-HP Officejet Pro 8620 (Tray 1) or

-HP Officejet Pro 8620 (tray 2)

This could be seen as a separate printers. How can we achieve this?

Change the setting every time, is not a good option. In addition, we have other software that we want to configure so that they automatically print to the correct bin.

    Thank you!

  • Want 5530: want to scan from the front panel of the printer computer

    Hello

I am not able to use the scan to computer function from the front panel of the printer to a PC recently updated.

On the front panel, I press 'Scan', then 'computer '. The name of the computer to which I want to scan is listed, so I select it. The scan preview screen appears then I press 'analysis '. After a standby display told me that the computer does not have to check the cable, etc...

The PC is turned on, and the connected user.

Printer is connected directly to the PC via USB cable.

PC operating system is Windows 64-bit 10.

    Printer is 5530 want all-in-one.

HP Print and Scan Doctor no problem.

I tried with a disabled firewall.

I uninstalled and reinstalled several times (using a new download of HP).

When I open the printer software 'manage the scan' is not listed (only the Scan item is 'search for a Document or a picture", that works).

Test page will print from PC.

  • OfficeJet pro 8600: not possible to change the scanning of the Panel of the printer resolution settings

With my Officejet pro 8600, there is no possibility to change the scanning resolution settings when you are working in the control panel of the printer (not present button to touch) when I want to scan to the computer, while in the manual it is mentioned that, after pressing the Document Type, it should be possible to reach the resolution to change the resolution of the scan setting. On the other hand, when the scan to a memory card the button change the resolution settings is present.

Sometimes for the scanning of all computers to select (winXP SP3 installed on it). The HP printing software is installed on all computers and manage digitization to the computer is turned on. It is possible to change the resolution settings when using my computer with the HP printing software, but as I said not in the use of the printer.

Thank you to help you solve the problem!

    Hey mk75053,

Scanning to memory card has the parameters of resolution through the front because that is the only way for the device perform this type of analysis.  However, to change the resolution settings for the Scan of the computer, one will have to perform scans through the software installed on the PC.

I have all three types of 8600 models where I am located (base, more high quality) and of all printers simply ask to start the analysis after selecting the scan type.

    I hope this helps.

  • Easy Print silver vi quality control

    Hello

I just came across an interesting bug?

I use the VI easy to print to print the visible part of my front panel. I had a few money controls (now I just will not replace) on the PC, and I realize that

printing as a pdf is bad, only for controls of money (modern and system controls are ok, perhaps the most beautiful is the control system).

See this snippet to reproduce the problem. I tried two pdf printers: Foxit Reader reproductive and free PDF. The two produced the problem, under LV2012 and LV2014 too.

Why money controls may not be printed correctly in pdf?

Two words: color resolution. You should see the same effect on the screen if you reduce the resolution of your monitor color, or make a screenshot and reduce the resolution of the color in the paint.

If the screen is customer facing you should use controls system in any case.

    Hello SierraMikeDelta,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I think the first question that needs to be addressed is the problem of touch screen. It is a generic guide, but still has the necessary steps: touch screen is unresponsive.

Let me know if that solves this problem, if so we can examine the App does not print photos.

  • Panel before printing by clicking a Boolean

    Hello world

I need that a user can print the front just by clicking a button in the front panel.

Apparently, I need to use reporting ==> easy print Panel VI + a Boolean button.

But I have no idea how to make the connections. My code is in a time loop. Where should I connect the inputs 'VI path' or 'content' for example and then how connect the Boolean button? (I want to just print the front panel)
(I've seen using manual on ni.com, but it didn't really help me...)

    Thanks for your help

    Best regards

You just connect path a class VI to the simple Board VI (path of the entrance VI) print. And that's all. It prints the VI façade on the default printer.

If you cannot use the structure of the fair event place a structure of housing and wire your button print selector. Make first print to the default printer with the default settings and then starts to play with things like content.

  • Panel.VI printing using versions 6.1 and 8.6

I have a large version 6.1 program that uses print panel.vi to print a report long text to the default printer, which is where print impressions from panel.vi; However, I need to change the default printer so that I can use this vi to print on several different printers, spread throughout our intranet.  Any comment on this is welcome.  Also, I thinking about moving to LabVIEW 8.6, which is what I've used on other projects, and I noticed that there is an impression panel.vi in this version which seems to allow to specify various printers via a new input parameter that did not exist in version 6.1.  Is this true?  And I can't use the reports library to do this, otherwise this would have been my first choice.

    Hi Hounddog,

In 8.6, there is a printer name entry allows you to specify that your printer name provided that it is on the same network as your PC. I hope this helps!

  • HP officejet 8500 a 909 has - Panel is empty and not print. How to do a reset complete?

    Hello

I have an Office jet of 909 has 8500 printer. It has suddenly stopped working and that the Group of experts on the printer is empty well lit.

Can someone tell me how to do a factory reset full?

    REDA

    Hello rajbala,.
    Welcome to the HP Forums.

It seems that the display on the front panel of your printer has stopped working properly. I will try to help you with this.

Try the following: white control display panel, it deals with basic to display problems troubleshooting and can be useful for you. It can also prevent the need for a reset. If it does not then provide me the model number of the printer, as you said you have a 8500 a which would be an a910a, however you posted a909a. Find out which of the two you would provide you steps.

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.

Under the connection of the conciergerie, I got the error message 0 x 00000057
Under wireless direct printing, I got the same error 0 x 00000057

After spending the time to check the settings, connections and asking
Why? I decided to see that if I could print the docs, I print a PDF file,
Notepad and Word documents in each application under the two

I think that the Panel of the printer would do this (I'll watch this later

My printer HP officejet 7500 and the control panel scan function was working fine until recently. Now when I go into control panel of the printer "scan to computer" it shows "not detected computer".

When I go to the computer and double-click the icon of the printer, it gives me is no longer an option to choose "Manage the scan of the computer". Any suggestions?

  • Not able to scan from the printer to my computer control panel using the HP Photosmart 5510

    Hello

I recently bought the new HP Photosmart 5510 all in one - and I am not able to scan from my printer to my computer.

I am however able to scan by launching the scan of the computer. I talked to HP customer earlier this evening and we ran printing + scan doctor and can't find any problems.

I am running Windows 7-64 bit and that you have installed my wireless printer using the Installation CD supplied with the printer today.

I could not finish troubleshooting with the technician that I talked to because I had to go to work. The person that I spoke with proposed possibly the full functionality of software downloaded from the hp.com site, which I'm happy to do, but I think that it is useless, because I have the CD of installation here. (The rep that I talked to was very nice, but I prefer not to have to uninstall and reinstall if it is not necessary)

Because as I mentioned above, everything works perfectly and I am able to scan - but not directly from the printer itself.

When I try to scan from my printer to my computer an error message appears on the control panel of the printer indicating that: there is no scan destination options of analysis chosen / no..

However, I can't find anywhere with my HP software where I could add / make sure that the destinations were there. (As I could on my other printers. (IE. By the solution Center)

This printer does not appear to be a solution center that I could find and the scanner installed with the CD icon doesn't give me any options regarding changing the settings of the parser

    I wonder:

    1. the Hp Photosmart 5510 does not have the capacity to scan from the printer control panel?

2 OR the CD installation provided with my printer only has the base drivers as the agent of tech support suggested? Which means to scan from my printer I need to download drivers for your hp Web site?

    3. or is the problem because of something else entirely?

    Thanks for your help!

    HI Dublin,

Follow the steps below to uninstall and reinstall the printer.

    1. open Control Panel

    2. click on uninstall a program

3 uninstall the Photosmart 6510 in the list

    4 restart your computer

    5. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

6 download the drivers and full software functionality, and then reinstall the printer.
