Paper error incompatibility, when printing on tabloid paper.

The printer is a HP Officejet Pro K8600 Series.

I am trying to print on tabloid paper (11 x 17) and every time he comes up with a paper mismatch error.

It prints very well when the preferences are set to letter-size, but does not work when it is set to the tabloid.

Any program you use, same result for Adobe, Word and Notepad... etc.

Any PC that you are using, I tried this on several PC.

I tried to use the driver through windows updates and the driver from the HP website.

There is a button on the printer that flashes when you try to print, and if you press the button it goes out a blank sheet of paper and not print anything on this subject.

This printer has only 1 plate.

I fixed this problem by creating a custom Tabloid2 named 11 x 17 paper size

There must be a bug with the printer drivers HP and their tabloid default paper size setting.

  • Error memory when printing

I'm confused and need help.  I created an "alignment" of our InDesign CS5.5 employees.  I have approximately 16 photos per page, and just 2 pages in the document so far.  I created an InDesign file is the type of a photo frame image that has some gradients and shadows applied.  When I place this InDesign file on the master page 16 times so that it appears on each image, I am unable to print the files, because I get an error "by reason of an out of memory condition".  (I can print 16 case of the image of photo frame is removed, and I can print when there is only one instance of the image of photo inside frame).  I guess it has something to do with InDesign duty apply/redraw effects/gradient to each instance of the «image of photo frame»  Is there something I'm missing, as a way to put multiple instances of a file so that it doesn't have to redraw each?  The frame graphic image that I do not have is not something too complex by any means, and I don't see why InDesign should not be able to handle this.

Any help is greatly appreciate!  Thanks in advance!

    Hi Sue,

I had the same problem a few days ago. My problem was caused by a Horde of vector images on the same page (Flattening this page leads my quite optimized PC crazy).

I solved the problem by opening the vector file in Photoshop, duplicate the layer with the image that I wanted in one 8.5 x 11 spread, merge all layers, when I had finished and recording that spread like one. PSD (with maximize compatibility checked). Then I placed the. PSD in InDesign. It is not perfect, I know, but the images look almost like zooms up to 150% and print / export takes a fraction of the time, not to mention my print. PDF is smaller than 3 mb.

I guess that what I mean is:

    1. you could put all 16 images on 1 page in 1 file
    2. you can save this file as a. PSD to keep a nice size/quality

    I hope this helps!

    See you soon,.

    flustered2,

You recently reinstall the operating system? If so, have you installed the drivers in the order?
How to download and install drivers in the correct order

First run delete print jobs to remove all print jobs stuck in the queue.

    Unplug the printer.

Download and run the patch (cleaning printer utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

    Restart your computer.

Now you can install the printer using the Dell Printer 924 disc.

Link to the patch/drivers(if needed) is to...

Don't forget the programs anti-virus and firewall will block communications.

    Also try this tweak...

Go into Device Manager (right click on my computer, left click Properties, material of the left click, left click Device Manager)

Go to the section USB controller, and then click the plus sign +.

Go to each USB hub root and right-click on it, on the left, click Properties, on the left, click power management. Uncheck the allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

    Thanks for your help!

There is a document using address type codes 0 x in the PSC 2355. This document can be found here.

If this error appears when printing and idling, then I would say that this is probably an internal hardware issue with this printer.

    I hope this helps.

Please follow the steps below to reset the photoshop preferences.

    > Hold down Option + command + shift (Mac OS) when you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. New preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.

Note: Using the hotkey, preference files for custom shortcuts, workspaces, and color settings will also reset to the default.

If you are still facing the same issue, please uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers and check for the issue.

  • When you print it out paper HP PSC 1507 just repeat the error in the print job

Hi im on MAx OS X 10.6.4 and I got it all in one HP PSC 1507 printer... I don't know why but I have intralled all the drivers n etc. but it keeps just coming with error in the print job just stay

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks George

Good question.  Although it is listed as being supported under Snow Leopard, there is not another print and scan all drivers.

We will restore the print system and just use the built-in support for your printer:

    -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
-Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  • folds of 7612-printer Officejet 11 x 17 Paper 3 "from the top when printing from my computer

Name of product-Officejet 7612.  Operating system - OS X - Yosemite (10.10.1) for my desktop and OS X (10.6.8) for my laptop.  Problem when printing from a Mac machine in the Officejet 7612 on paper 11 x 17, it will always create a mountain/valley fold all the way across the top of the sheet about 3 "from the top.  The folds will be straight through.  Whether it's origami, it would be the perfect machine.

When I print from the control panel of the printer (for example a printing of print quality, or something www.hpeprint.com like news or some other print it will print properly with no fold either.)

It seems as if this in case of instructions from the computer to the printer to print, he gets in a hurry to get the document creating the folds, but when it comes to the machine itself, he picks up the paper gently.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi @Bodija ,

I see that you have problems when printing on 11 x 17 size paper of Yosemite, but you can print the thin material and ePrint test page. I will definitely do my best to help you.

When you print from the computer, you can print on letter-sized paper or are you just had the problem with the paper 11 x 17?

Here is a document to clean the rolls of paper to see if that will help.

If you still have problems with it is software related, try the following steps.

  • HP 8610: Power HP 8610 paper problems, especially when printing cheques

I put a lot of thought and research in buying this printer a few months ago.  It seemed perfect at first, but I thought it was just a fluke periodic has turned into a regular problem.  I run two payroll every Thursday.  When printing cheques, the printer will grab two at a time, print out the correct area on the cheque at the top of the page and behind him leaving empty. Then, the last control is printed on white paper.  This throws the correct control numbers into my pay, and I also end up having a blank in the middle of my sequence number check.  I then have to reprint the two controls and change the check numbers in the payroll.  This happens in both States of payroll, almost everytime.  It does not appear that very often with regular, white paper.  The printer is still under warranty, but is there still a way to solve this kind of problem?  Thank you

    Hello @RhondaGS,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you encounter feeding problems when printing from your Windows 7 computer to your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer paper. I would like to help you today with this problem to feed paper. However, before I was capable of precise guide you to a solution I have to clarify a few things.

    • (1) what size, type and weight is your paper check?
    • (2) what type of program are you printing cheques through?

In the meantime, I get you some standard paper troubleshooting steps. This will include checking your paper path for dirt that may be responsible for paper feed issues and rolls. Please click here to access the path of paper troubleshooting steps. Once the support document opens please run through the two Solution, Solution threeand four. Once the diagnosis is complete, please test print to see if the problem is resolved. Just to note, always make sure that you load a media type in your bin at some point. You do not want to mix regular paper and paper check or other paper in the tray with paper, as this can cause paper 'slide' when being introduced into your machine and create jam or extra paper feeding problems.

Please reply to this message with the result of the audit of the paper path and rolls. If the problem persists, be sure to include the answers to my two questions above in your response. I look forward to hear from you!

  • Hide parts of a page when printing on paper

Hide parts of a page when printing on paper

I read that I can create a css for a specific type of media file.

I created one called print.css and print selected as its media.

And inside, I created a username called #col_right

And the value of the option to display as a block against zero

This poster on the screen of the computer and as expected not to print on paper.

Grand - just as expected (hoped )

However! There is always a but...

It was for a div which had a id = "col_right" specified

    Which is what I expected.

But, my menu bar is in a div, it has a class = "MenuBarHorizontal" but it doesn't have an id = ""? "tied to it."

So, how can I hide the menu bar in the press outs?

    Thank you

It makes no difference whether an ID or a class because the style like this will do the trick:

Make sure that there is a period before MenubarHorizontal as:

    . MenubarHorizontal

    Good luck.
