Part of the black screen?

part of the screen goes black when I turn on the computer.  who disappears quickly.  What's new?

If this occurs after you log in, this is probably a command window opens briefly, it looks like this?  It can flash too fast to tell yet, but it is likely that:

Since it happens when you connect, we know that this comes from a startup program (a program that runs when you first login).  To manage these, you can use the utility Configuration of Microsoft.  Here's how:

  1. Press WindowsLogo + R to display the run box, type MSCONFIG and click OK.
  2. Go to the Startup tab and disable all programs you need not autorun when you connect.  It is prudent to disable them all (you can always come back if you decide you want).  Some you might be able to understand the name, as mine has a 'HP printer ink Notification"to tell me when my ink is low.  If you see something like that you know you want to keep, you have to turn it off.

    Hello

    I have a MBP 15 "mid 2015 16G with AMD R9 M370X i7.

I've been running bootcamp with Windows 10 installation for about a month now without any problems.  However, yesterday 10 Windows started and has been blocked in a black screen (before any screen logo or connection win) with the CPU works hard and hot.

    1. I tried to restart some time hold button / stop and start with the option key, key and then selecting the windows bootcamp partition but it drove the same black screen with CPU hot work in the background.

    2. I can always start OSX fine during this period.

    3. I tried to leave in the black screen for a good 10 minutes, but it does not change and the MBP gets really hot.

You have a black screen with or without power adapter, both? If 10 Windows does not start correctly three times, it should bring up the recovery console. Windows automatic updates are enabled? You have created/activated Windows system restore points?

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked into your problem on your HP ENVY laptop and having starting problems.  Try to make a hard reset.

When you perform a hard reset note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices.

Here is a link to put the laptop in Safe Mode. Then you can do a System Restore. System Restore will help if something is automatically updated and wasn't on the laptop. You may need to consider a few days before that the issue that has happened.

Here is a link to computer does not start for Windows.

Plug the adapter directly into a different wall socket. Do not connect it a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.

    Hi Admin,
When I was playing the game and my 3D PC show the black screen and the sound of noise. And then I can't move anything and I can restart only. What is this problem? I don't know why? Please help me what should I do.
My PC specs are as follows

Aspire M5800 (Q84MR375) Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium, 64-bit, Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q8400 (2.66 GHz, 4 MB L2 Cache, bus front at 1333 MHz), 3 GB Ram, 750 GB S - ATA HDD, DVD SuperMulti Double Layer drive, Nvidia GeForce GT220 graphics (1 GB dedicated RAM) card, Wireless LAN, keyboard and wireless mouse with LCD 23 '' monitor.

    phoechan,
More than likely if this started after you upgrade to Windows7 then you might have to update your hardware drivers.  Go to the websites of the manufacturers of hardware for your PC and get all the latest drivers for Windows 7 (video, sound, chipset, etc...).  If they don't have Windows 7 drivers you may have questions until they create them.  You can also try to boot your PC and also right click on the game .exe file and change the compatibility mode to Vista or XP.

  • ACPI.sys corrupted at startup disk on the black screen windows

When I start my computer normally all I get is a black screen with my cursor on it before I reach the log on screen (but after normal of the windows startup process).  I tried Ctrl alt del and nothing happens, there is no beep or anything along those lines is.  I tried safe mode, but exactly the same thing happens, I get a black screen with white inscription around the edges, telling me that I'm in safe mode and my slider is still there and moves, but other then that is all black screen.  Ctrl alt delete doesn't work or any other key press on that I skipped.  I put in my windows XP CD and he would try to repair or reinstall the operating system but when I boot on the CD, it starts to load normally and then stops and gives me the error message "the acpi.sys file is corrupted.  Press a key to continue' when I press any button it goes upwards and brings back me to the black screen with the cursor.  I tried to go into the BIOS and turn off acpi but the loading and the startup disk produce the exact same results any bios settings I try.  Any help would be appreciated, either for obtaining windows at startup after the black screen without the startup disk or get me to the point where I can still use the CD (which I should mention that I have used before and it worked well, is the one responsible for my windows XP in the first place and who is clean and scratch free).  Thank you for any help or advice.  Oh, and I must add that I have installed any new software or whatever it is like in the last month or two, so I don't think it is something like that.

"It was a moment cartoonic, when gravity stops for coyote to make him realize that he was wrong from the beginning."

Hi, I did a hard job looking for a solution, and after a while, I found a solution. The solution to the problem was a little easy, but at the same time a bit funny too, hehehe.

The solution was, when I removed the battery, then did what you told me, I even! Even the black of the same screen cursor. Then I tried power the computer nothing do but simply by pressing the power button without the battery in it. The laptop ran using cable ca, and then I was able to use the windows. Its perfect work. Now I have piles in too and its still in good condition.

Now what do me? Should I replace the battery, I get error 601 (main battery) too. So should I replace it with a new one? I hope that it will be more preferable.

    Help.

I just got a refurbished Compaq 7700. It has Windows XP for drives of the refurbished computers.

I try to boot from the hard drive (HD) and infinite loops, it is never past the initial home screen (black with blue status bar).

I can't open the safe or the HD mode, it freezes at kmxstart.sys and then restarts again.

I tried to boot from the disk and created Windows appears, then load the files, but then automatically tries to start Windows (without repair option). It then jumps to the BSoD with error code (after advice to verify sufficient disk space, to disable the driver identified, to change video cards, BIOS updates...)

Apparently, this driver is a printer driver? I don't have a printer, but do not know how to disable it without access to windows.

I got a new Philips 18.5 "monitor, an optical mouse and a keyboard with it.

My guess is that the screen is the problem, because it was full again when I received and therefore not tested with the system before shipping. Not sure about the mouse and the keyboard.

I tried a few options in the BIOS screen as well, but no dice.

Help! Before shipping the brand new...

I thank you and have a wonderful new year.

    Hello

1st thing to try is a restoration of the system in safe mode

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode option with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

If that does not read this information

Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send vista recovery discs

they do it for a nominal cost of $
