Partially responsive touchscreen Xperia Z2

Hello world

Yesterday my Xperia began to have what is called the question "ghost touch."
Off the phone, nothing has been looking better. At this point, when I boot the phone, I can enter my PIN - sim, start the camera by the dedicated button and touch the objects in focus. I can also choose things in the reboot/shutdown menu. However, the lock screen is anything but reactive. The fact that I have the partial touch feature gives me hope that the problem is software related rather than a hardware problem. However, as I can't override the lock screen, it is also impossible for me to reboot the phone to the factory settings.

Does anyone have a solution for my problem?

Thank you

Joni.

If you do not buy Sony, you will need to contact the seller. But I hope that everything is fine.

    Try PC Companion phone repair. If this does not help, I would say to send to your nearest customer service center, always in warranty and can be replaced easily.

    Realization of a repair using PC Companionsoftware. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1 to 2 hours until the device has so at least 60% battery.

    Make sure that the device is not connected to the computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press the power button / stop and volume until what the machine vibrates 3 times or on some devices, it must push the small button near the tray on the back of the camera or SIM).

    Open PC companion-> support area-> update phone software / Tablet-> repair my phone/Tablet blue highlighted. Follow the steps, do not plug your phone until you are prompted to press volume down while plugging in the USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you may need to run Windows 7 compatibility mode (in some cases XP).

  • How to configure two USRPs as a MIMO transmitter to transmit the PRS modulated sequences?

    Hello.

    I am transmitting two orthogonal sequences using USRPs with Labview or GNU. The sequences have three levels (+ 1, -1, 0). I thought by using the method of partial response signaling (similar to the BPSK modulation) to modulate their. Is it possible to do?

    Even if you can help me to transmit a modulated signal BPSK or QPSK, using two USRPs conencted with cable MIMO, it will be a huge favor.

    Thank you

    sam2013ni,

    Here is a National Instruments KnowledgeBase article that explains how to use the toolkit modulation of the data defined by the user. Please try using this and see if this is useful.

  • Points on the entire screen (regular Z5)

    Greetings.

    This is my first time on this site. The title of the thread might confuse you, so let me clarify: I bought two phones Sony Xperia Z5 from Amazon and to remove the screen protects pre applied, I saw these strange points everywhere in displays (see photo)

    http://i.imgur.com/yEhHxfn.jpg

    Before you ask a third phone Z5, I would like to ask your help to make sure if it of just bad luck or not. In addition, the points cannot be wiped. Unfortunately.

    I have no idea of what those who are, because it's actually my first smartphone Sony, so forgive my lack of knowledge, if it is actually a common thing, but the fact remains that I have never seen anything like that before. I admit it's me irritating without common measure, since I always pay close attention to my phones.

    On the photo, we see a light that is on the left side, but it's my flashlight so that you guys can see the points more clearly; they are all over the screens and no, they are not defects of pixels, because they can be seen even when phones are out of service.

    Hi Kryptonian.

    Welcome to the community,

    These points are digitizer, they allow you to be able to use the Enter key. They are on each device touchscreen Xperia, we published. These points are usually seen in some lighting conditions.

    I hope this helps.

  • Series of problems (0xc000021a) ending with no. Bootable Device Loop - is it a hardware problem or software?

    We have a Dell Inspiron with windows 8 (or could be 8.1 (impossible to verify at the moment).)  He is 13 months old.  It seems that the hard drive is crashed and it is unreadable.   However, he wasn't give disk errors and the disk was not full and routine maintenance had not produced any bad sectors before that.   Question is can it be something else went wrong so that it cannot read the disc?  Or a software issue that if I could boot from a USB data key I could return to a system of prior work? And capture the error dump file?   I have a laptop with the same operating system can I create a bootable usb of who?

    Here's the brief history of the last 24 hours before the accident:

    System had been slow, and the wireless mouse is unresponsive and erratic.   Not sure if a windows update has been installed automatically.   We have two users.  It is necessary to connect with this ID live.  When we would reboot, it will return to the same user and not the neutral screen, prompting you to choose a user.

    system seems to freeze both attempts to stop normal doa and restart was abandoned, just to have it work with the switch.  Got the black screen: "no boot device" Strike f1 key attempts to reboot, f2 to run the Setup utility. »
    He got to the top
    Worked well for a little enough to start the diagnostics.
    Has conducted an audit of the memory to see if errors in the memory - no problem.  a normal close and restart
    Began to run another test system and system froze - no mouse and no response touchscreen and got the blue screen with the error 0xc000021a sad face and it was collecting information and could restart when finished.  Half an hour later, still at 0% so hard progress started.

    Came made ctr alt delete to go to Manager tasks to see if spyware app was running and take up system resources Manager tasks don't come, repeated and then got bluescreen with Kernal security check failure.   I thought could start to get safe mode then could move some files from disk backup and find the DMP files or restore previous system but on startup got the "no boot device" Strike f1 key retry reboot, f2 to run the Setup utility. »

    and will not come off of it now.
    F12 to enter a mode of diagnosis but gives msg - no hard drive not detected or unsupported disk controller.

    Is it possible that I don't have a failed drive, but prefer to have a software bug?
    What are my options at this point?

    Hello

    You have installed another type of player... USB or other?

    Maybe it's that hard stop has messed up your boot sequence...

    Can you get the menu for Options and startup in the Bios itself, to check the setting...

    I have this happen every now and then when I'm messing with stuff, and one of my gadgets confuses the Bios boot sequence...

    Check to see if it is set on the HARD disk, or maybe it has to do something about EFI\UEFI if your computer supports only... Most of the newer ones with Win 8 preinstalled do.

  • Do I have to activate the system image on the SSD?

    Stephanie,

    Is it possible to install Win'a 8.1 on external USB3 2 TB drive (WD My Passport) or USB3 thumb drive (64 GB or 128 GB 256Go) and boot from the external drive later?

    On Dell XPS 15 laptop computer with touch screen, it is the model which has two readers. I intend to upgrade the two system has so 1 TB mSATA and 1 TB SSD.

    It is possible to:

    Install Win 1 TB mSATA 8.1

    Do the Windows system image backup

    1 TB SSD restore

    Then be able to boot from the drive?

    Given that the product key is embedded in the BIOS, 8.1 win on both drives is enabled?

    You know other options to clone Windows discs?

    Install Win 1 TB mSATA 8.1

    Clone 1 TB to 1 TB SSD mSATA

    I'll look at the following:

    DD - Unix/linux command

    ddrescue

    Redo Backup

    Clonezilla

    I believe that all the options I listed above will require the creation of USB which is bootable with any of the listed software.  Realize this is out of scope of MS; thought I'd ask just in case.

    Wish windows supplied with software of clone of road built, but other providers complain probably on antitrust, etc...

    I confirmed not triggered because the license is built into the rom of the BIOS on the motherboard.

    As long as systems are nearly identical and OS is the same, then readers (mSATA) can be interchanged between systems and activation is not required.

    About the cloning of disks mSATA:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I use Acronis True Image 2014 which I used to clone drives and it worked several times on the following:
    a. of the smallest disk to disk more
    b. larger drive to the smaller drive
    While I did with Acronis True Image 2014 disk image backups, I still need to confirm that I can restore successfully using the backup to disk image.
    For the cloning now works and that's all, I care really.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    I used also successfully "dd" command from Ubuntu 14.04 to:

    a. clone drive to drive directly several times since I last summer on this thread.

    b. make compressed backups of disk image

    c. restored from a backup image

    I've created a Live Ubuntu USB key that I can use to get started with any PC equipped with a USB port.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I also discovered ZTC sky Council mSATA case USB3
    Get average 275 MB/s reading speed.
    I've used this forum to successfully clone disks mSATA two ways:
    a. mSATA attachment mSATA in laptop
    b. mSATA in mSATA in attachment laptop
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    A suite and was able to boot from speaker ZTC:

    Had an mSATA 1 TB from another system 8.1 Win that has been correctly configured and personalized running. The system is exactly the same as another system I have except CPU is faster in 2nd system.

    1 take 1 to 1 system mSATA.
    2 put the 1 TB mSATA ZTC here.

    3. connect pregnant ZTC 2nd system
    a. Dell XPS 15 9530
    b. port Super speed USB3

    4. turn on the laptop
    5 press F12

    6. selected pregnant JMicron and system booted right up.

    7 Win 8.1 very responsive touchscreen.
    8. all other very sensitive operations.
    9. no more worrying failure by car.

    I'll keep clone in one of these envelopes, so I'll always be able to start immediately in the event of hardware failure of the drive.   I can also clone speaker for laptop and places itself in a few minutes, not in hours.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!

    No more waste of time.
    No more loss of productivity.
    No more lost files, data, or licenses.
    No more lost system or application configurations.

    No more distraction or frustration.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I can't explain the peace of mind, I now because my system is very suitable and configured and if the disc has been lost (misbehaves, failed or dead) I now have a bootable clone which was confirmed and ready to go. Simply plug pregnant, the system restarts, select start from the box and I am running immediately with 'EVERYTHING' intact. No hours or days later.

    This is much better than making a backup image or a clone, and "ASSUMMING", they are good. So many people, even companies, saving its data, making images for backup to disk or even clone disks, but never check backups and clones due to the time it takes to do.

    Another good thing about this package is that I don't have to open up the laptop and swap discs. Just clone for speaker, then to start immediately pregnant to confirm.

    This place solves one of my backup issues.

    Lets clone mSATA inside the laptop to mSATA in case ZTC, then start at the mSATA inside ZTC to validate the cloning has worked.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    200 MB/s to 300 MB/s reads... with this case - according to mSATA you buy
    200 MB/s to 250 MB/s writes... with this case - according to mSATA you buy
    My laptop has super speed USB3 ports, not legacy USB3 ports
  • A scrolling table makes the dirty deal
    Hello
    JDev 11.1.2.4
    I have a table, the transaction is not dirty at this stage. Then I scroll to the bottom of the table, and now, the transaction is dirty while I just scrolled down. I check the response from the server, and indeed the TR page value dirty but I don't unerstand why.
    Here's the answer after scrolling down:
    <? XML version = "1.0"? >
    < partial-response > < changes > < update id = "pt1:pt_c10:r1:0:r2:c2:t1" >... < / update > < update id = "javax.faces.ViewState" > <!     Why my page is dirty after scrolling down?
    Thank you
    I found the reasons why, even if I don't really understand why.
    A column is a selectBooleanChechbox bound to a Boolean transient VO. The Type of control in the indications of the UI was the default. He move to the box solved the problem.
  • PPR and portlet rendering parameters
    Hello.
    We have a portal page and a couple of portlets on that that share the same rendering setting. as Yannik stressed in one of his blog posts, it is not possible to change a setting for rendering of inside a portlet in the PPR, so instead we have a dedicated control on the page itself that initiates the change. This is a control that is based on JavaScript which sends a client event and stores the value in a bean (using AdfCustomEvent.queue and an af:serverListener). We then add portlets to the page using composer and settings portlet of wire to the bean via an EL expression. Portlets are also added as partialTarget in response to the serverListener the method that sets the value of bean.
    problem is that it works when the page is refreshed and not during the PPR (which apparently occurs when the client event is handled by the server listener method). portlets are refreshed everything correctly, but the parameter value remains the same (although the value of bean is successfully changed).
    so, essentially, the question is: is it still possible to send a report to a portlet parameter when the change is driven by customer events?
    If anyone is interested, we found a solution for this problem.
    Suppose we have a page with a portlet in JSR-286 has a correctly declared PRP called 'aPublicRenderParameter '.
    Control of ADFc code which allows the customer to event management (Nothing ADF special, of habit, assuming you have JQuery):
                var adfDocument;
            function initPrp(evt) {
                //we use JQuery events to communicate parameter change events
                $(document).bind("parameterChange", onParameterChange);
                //a ref to ADF document root is necessary as we will use it as source of parameter change events
                adfDocument = event.getSource();
            }
        function onParameterChange(evt, name, value, force) {
            try {
                if (adfDocument != null) {
                    AdfCustomEvent.queue(adfDocument, "CPRP",
                        {
                            fname : name, fvalue : value
                        },
                        true
                    );
                }
            }
            catch (e) {
                console.log(e);
            }
        }
        $(function () {
            $('#aComboBox').change(function () {
             $(document).trigger("parameterChange",["aPublicRenderParameter", $(this).val()]);
            });
        });
    Here we have a selector drop-down list box that drives the parameter updates. We declare a client event "CPO" to send updates to the Server Manager (bean prpChangeHandler). "load" the client listener are necessary because portlets Initializes only after responsible for document ADF, updates occurring before setting will never get caught.
    and now the magic of server:
            FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().renderResponse();
        }
    }
    Javadoc comments are self-explanatory; essentially, this client event handler updates the link ADF variable which corresponds to a PRI to a portlet (and is automatically created by ADF when you place a portlet on a page). After that, we initiate a partial refresh on some portlets (and this is why our customer event source is the document root ADF - to be able to find the corresponding portlet components and add them as partialTargets).
    I don't know if it's the right way to do what we wanted, but this so far is the only way I found.
  • Text in value - creation of circle of RADIUS
    Hey guys,.
    I have a question. I want to get the value of a textfield. It's a number, of course. And with this issue, I want to create a circle that has a RADIUS that is defined by this number. For example, the text says '100 '. So I want to make a circle that has a RADIUS that is equal to 30% of that number. The goal is to display the full 100% of this value in different environments. I hope you get what I mean...
    This is my first time I'm working with edge animate so I would appreciate if someone can explain to me how I can do this!
    See you soon
    -Daniel
    Hi, Daniel.
    I know that resdesign helped you with a few items, but here is another option for you.
    https://creative.Adobe.com/share/0626ccf8-E278-4933-A236-ab982f9a3089
    In this example, I've already placed a circle on the stage and used the two color buttons to change the RADIUS.  A couple of things to note:
    • I use the number as the diameter of the circle, not the RADIUS
    • The width and the height of the div is actually the diameter
    • You can dynamically create a div using appendChild() and do that in a circle by setting the corners at 50%
    This solution does not rely on the canvas, and you get a perfect circle.  Sorry for the partial response, but I think there is enough information to help you get started.
    Hope that helps,
    -Elaine
    Hello
    To call your web service via the SSL protocol, the simplest is to use only the following code snippet:
    You used the threshold:
    System.setProperty ("weblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore", "* config/DemoIdentity.jks" *);
    instead of DemoIdentity.jks, you provide the full path and the file name of the DemoTrust.jks file as below:
    System.setProperty ("weblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore", "* D:/wls103/wlserver_10.3/server/lib/DemoTrust.jks*");
    Hope this will solve the problem.
    Thank you
    Sandeep
  • Is it a good place to ask questions about the slow s Tablet touchscreen response?
    Is it a good place to ask questions about the slow s Tablet touchscreen response?
    You experience slow response on normal s tablet, the first gen one or the Xperia s tablet, a new.
    If you experience a slow response, it may be because you use too many apps at the time and slowing down of your tablet. How long it lasts?
  • multiple choice with partial credit question, I have 10 responses only 6 are correct.  How to assign 10 points for each of the six correct answers for a total of 60 points setting?
    How can I assign partial credit so that for each possible answer 6 out of 10 each correct answer gets 10 points each, with a possible total score of 60 points quiz?
    To Captivate 7, please go to the Quizzing workspace. You will have the properties and properties Quiz Panel visible. I will now repeat the workflow, I explained briefly for CP7:
    • Check the partial score in the Quiz properties and also multiple responses.
    • Indicate the correct answers on the stage
    • Select the first correct answer on the stage text caption and indicate its score (10pts) in the properties panel, not in the Quiz properties!
    • Repeat the same for each correct answer
    • Check the total score in the properties of the Quiz Panel: should now be 60pts to the full question.
    None of the quiz system variables can be changed, they are read-only. System variables in Captivate 6 - Captivate blog explains the system variables for 6 categories, there are a few changes in 7: new features of Captivate 7.01 - Captivate blog but the Quiz category is always read-only.
  • response to screen iPhone touchscreen 6
    Hello
    First of all, I would like to welcome all users in Apple Support Comunity and I hope I help other users with their problems.
    But to the point.
    I m wondering how to make my iPhone more responsible 6 Touch then it is now. Problem is I broke my screen when the iPhone falls to the ground. I recently fixed it with premium resseler in my country. But according to me, the replacement part is not good as oroginial and response is worse then I expected. Is there any possibility to fix it? Note that I Don t have any Apple store Pierre. Thanks for the replies.
    Hello
    If the screen does not work as expected after having been repaired by an Apple authorized Service provider, return it to them for the control and, if necessary, to repair again.
    Terms may vary by country, but Apple repairs are usually guaranteed 90 days or the rest of the term of the warranty of your device or service plan, whichever is longer.
  • delay in response time when answering calls so that the screen is active (xperia z5)
    When a click 'reply' during the screen is active, it fails the call as expected. It sometimes takes a few attempts. There is a known issue on Android 5.1.1 (Build number 32.0.A.6.200)
    Developer the activated options. See the option key is enabled. I can see to the touch, but answer the phone software is delayed.
    I ran the following tests:
    Operating time
    The screen locked (idle screen): immidiate response
    Screen in use (youtube): 4 keys (4 seconds) to answer or refuse
    Screen in use (whatsapp): 3 keys (3 seconds) to answer or refuse
    Active Screen (home screen): 1 touch (3 seconds) to answer or refuse
    Links: https://support.sonymobile.com/gb/xperiaz5compact/userguide/Receiving-calls/
    Is there a fix or is there an update to correct the offset.
    Thank you
