Pavilion 15-p035nd: laptop not charging

Hello.

I got my laptop from Komplett.ie last week, and he played well for the seven days later. However, while using it last night, it stopped loading all of a sudden.

He has been connected to a pocket of work, since he had previously supported. I checked the cables for kinks and found nothing. I used a different power cable to plug the adapter into the wall outlet. I used another socket. I removed the battery and cable, discharged from the laptop and tried to turn it on so that connected without battery.

None of this has worked. The powers single computer laptop on while battery is in, running only on battery power. The only thing I could not test is a second card.

What can I do to fix this?

If the duct is not powered when the adapter is connected, the adapter is likely to have failed. It is a part of replaceable warranty.

I own a laptop PC hp Pavilion dv4 laptop and this morning there was a sudden battery problem, I was playing Dota 2 and the Steam interface told me that the battery percentage was 12% (7 minutes from the end) then I moved and grabbed the chager, plugged into the outlet and plugged the charger in laptop a few seconds later the laptop turns off suddenly and won't restart, even if the charger is plugged there no light came from the load indicator.

A few minutes later do research for similar problems, there was a solution to remove the battery and the charger then press and hold power for 30 seconds and 3-5 minutes then return the battery but it did nothing.

After with some research, the indicator load on all of a sudden and when I start the laptop it was on 12 percent and billed not (there is no indicator that the charger is plugged) and turns off suddenly without warning.

Later, with a bit of panic and thought, I removed the battery and the charge light lit, which allows me to boot up the laptop and when Windows starts, I plugged it to the battery and it says: 19% (plugged in, load) so I track for a bit, but it didn't move at all, even when I changed the power of High Performance for HP recommended settings , window 19% available (plugged in, load) but it's just, it, don't move or anything like that.

EDIT: When I unplugged the charger to move my computer laptop and plugged in again, the indicator not lit and does not charge the battery thus forcing me to shut down or Hibernate, and remove the battery to the charge light.

Your battery is quite likely to be having no longer life left.

It is that if your laptop starts up without the battery, since the race, the battery test is not a viable option.

  • Pavilion g7: Pavilion g7 "plugged in, not charging."

In general, I keep my laptop plugged into current alternative, whenever I use it and transport mode 'sleep' with the lid closed whenever I'm the take on a trip.  The laptop is 4 years old and the battery is not required to load as it used to, so it's going to go from 100% to 50% when it is dormant for a stay of 6 hours.  I just moved into a new State and left in mode 'sleep' in my laptop for more than 24 hours bag, which (arguably) took the battery up to 0%.  Now that I'm unpacking and save and running, the indicator in the tray system constantly readings "plugged in, not charging" with 8% of battery (but it was 9% yesterday).  However, the laptop turns off immediately every time that I unplug it from the power sector, even with the lid closed mode 'sleep'.  I tried several different outlets and a spare cable load but can not get the battery to start charging.  I know that the battery is old and will need to be replaced, but I suspect it might also be a software failure or sensor because the battery while he was in mode 'sleep' perhaps?  I tried a few other troubleshooting steps online (clean the contacts of the battery and reinstalling it, update drivers to the battery, remove the battery from the Device Manager and reboot) but nothing has fixed.  The laptop still works well on alternating current with the battery removed.  Any ideas to try before giving a shot a spare battery?

  • Pavilion G6 2005ax: laptop computer charger circuit problem

My laptop HP G6 will not charge the battery and is not able to run with only one adapter. The charge LED lights up not at all. The laptop requires the battery to start but once it starts, the laptop is able to operate using the power of the AC adapter. I took it to a local service center, and the guy said that the motherboard has a short circuit and needs to be replaced.

I decided to try to fix it myself. I used a multimeter and found that the power adapter and plug DC work correctly and give output 19.5V. However, when I tested the pins of the battery meter showed a power of only 2, 6V. I'm guessing that there is a problem in the load circuit. Can someone help me?

    Thank you.

  • HP-n240tx: laptop not charge up

    Hi guys...

I have a hp laptop that is about a year and model n240tx... this problem has happened today when suddenly, my phone says connected but do not load on the battery and unfortunately when it happened to my battery said it was 9% and immediately turn off the power

I did the thing to reset the power when I remove the battery and adapter and power button press and hold... I did it and my laptop did start up office and new such dangerously low battery 7% and closing down and now not even start flashing white led near port (mind you it was with the laptop connected to the power supply) load

And it seems that my laptop doesn't start when the battery is removed because when I tried to do it just stops immediately with a little beep in the speakers

PS: I also noticed that when the laptop started to 7%, he went back to the base... not even in the hd4400 or the gt740m display, also Ive rarely ever used my battery, he operated mainly on the sector (maybe this caused a dead battery?)

Ive read abt this and many say this can be a defective Board on the laptop, but I think that this could be a dead battery problem? Since it is a question of holiday I can't remove for repair shop, so I would like some info of experts on this issue

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

I read your post on your charger and battery problems and wanted to help.

The diagnostic approach is to test both the dough and the charger, but in both cases, you must follow the instuctions that we could post a working laptop.  I'll post the links below:

If you can't make it work enough to use these links, because we have no way of diagnosing the problem from here, your only recourse is to take the PC to a HP Service Center and ask them to look at.

  • HP pavilion dm1 4004sa: Hp pavilion dm1 4004sa will not charge or turn on

I recently got a used laptop from a family member, that we were in trouble. We replaced the battery which is partially charged, so it worked for awhile. However when that failed and we have tried to charge the cell phone. Nothing happened, it won't turn on and when the charger is plugged in nothing happened.

The only thing that happens is when you plug the charger and try and turn it on, the little light beside the accusation taken flashes.

    Any ideas?

As the power\charge LED does not illuminate, this means that either the power adapter, DC power on the laptop or the system board connector have a problem.

If I were you, I would like to start with an AC adapter. You say it's one that you've inherited, a manner of speaking. A new power adapter costs way less than a new laptop computer. Find one online by doing a search with the HP dm1-4004sa adapter as keywords.  They are as inexpensive as $12.00. http://www.Amazon.com/DM1-4000EE-DM1-4004SA-DM4-1277SB-DM4-3052NR-DM4-3090SE/DP/B00Q8QMF3K

Here, the research that I did is.. You must perform your own search because it will use more results local server.

If the power light does not light, it's a diagnosis.

A power\charge blinking LED means that the battery has failed, but no LED no battery me would right adapter.

  • Laptop not charging and not turning not not on also

Hi, my laptop (dell Inspiron 15 7000 series-7537) is not load, tried the charger with another laptop and it works, certainly isn't evil, it also sometimes does when I load it charger 'as it indicates no current charging"on the screen... Any ideas on what to do or I have to send in repairs and how much it will cost me?

The system light up at all?  If not, unplug, remove or disconnect the battery and hold the power for 30 seconds.  Remove the base and remove and reinstall the bars of memory.  Plug the AC adapter and see if it will turn on.  If it goes with the battery disconnected, but not with it connected, the battery is bad.

If it still doesn't light up, check the USB ports for damaged pins that can cause a short circuit.  Otherwise, if you have already tried a new Dell adapter without result, the power supply is the next possible suspect - who is part of a $35:

    www.Parts-People.com/index.php

If replacement that does not solve the problem, looking at a replacement motherboard - the order of several hundreds of dollars for the party as well as the labor to install.

    Dear customer,

Welcome and thanks for posting your question on the Forum of Support HP

It seems that you are not able to turn on the laptop and tried to solve the problem

Please perform steps listed to find out if it is a hardware or software problem below:

    1. remove all cables and devices, disconnect them and try to turn on the device

    2. check the LED light situation and ensure the action of the spring button / stop is normal

3 Exchange with a well known power cord and the AC adapter

4 Pack no adapters are available, check if the power adaptor is slightly warm

Note: This will give us an indication that the power adapter could be good

    5. do you know if the laptop was in battery or power adapter when you used the last time

Note: Make sure that there is no spill of liquid or cutting

    6. check if the Port of the AC adaptor is loose/broken

Note: If the laptop is not on even with a power adapter well known, this confirms the hardware failure with the system board or power DC Circuit
