    Hello

My question is how can I change the RAM for my internal video card? I found I only 64 and I want to change it to 256.

I don't want no heavy games, I just want to change to 256.
I tried to change it by accessing the BIOS, but I had no luck with it, no option for this, another way, I could do?

    Thank you!.

    > my question is how can I change the RAM for my internal video card? I found I only 64 and I want to change it to 256.

No, you can not do it yourself. The system will automatically change to the need for more ram.

Hello, I want to k now can I put my laptop (Pavilion 15-n201ax) gpu and ram? Thanks in advance!

Number on the GPU. You already have the top of the page mother/processor board and there is no way to add or replace it with a better graphics in any system. On memory, you have 8 GB. This is the Manual:

    Link repair manuals

Officially, the maximum is 12 concerts but here users have reported success with 16. You do not have an easily accessible memory Bay and you should have an open memory slot to add a SO-DIMM DDR3L-1600 to upgrade memory. I seriously doubt you will see much of a difference, but I have 16 gigs in my laptop then I say, go ahead.

IM runing windows 7 now and try to install windows 8.1 but IE NX unsupported. So I decided to change my processor and the extra ram of 1 GB ad, and the new graphics card but I don't know that the graphics card & CPU (last) support my pc.
Here is my pc in detail.
1.80 ghz, 180 GB HARD drive and 1 GB of ram, motherboard AMIBOIS, Windows 7 running. So suggest
me that I buy a new pc or
change cpu, ram and graphics card.

    Hello

As it is an OEM machine, you will not be able to replace the CPU this processor is specifically compatible with OEM motherboard. If you are looking to change the CPU, RAM and GPU, you really can both do you a favor and buy a new machine all together, or build your own.

    Here's the key:

You have a bad memory module. It happens very rarely, but it's not impossible to get a new stick of bad memory. Get the replaced bad and I think you'll be fine.

I also try to install a GeForce 8400 GS with 1024 MB ddr3 pci-e 2.0 and cannot operate. If I plug into the video card and that you start the computer NOTHING on the screen at all. S ' PLEASE HELP.

    Hello:

The memory problem you reported is normal.

Part of memory has been reserved for some devices of system such as the integrated graphics card.

The issue of the video card does not...

I see the product that your PC came with factory-installed W8.1.

In order to get a video card no HP to work, you need to change 2 settings of the BIOS before installing your video on any PC card that came with W8 or newer version of the factory.

See this link to change the BIOS settings.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03653200/

Also before you install your video card, you must uninstall the graphics card in Device Manager, check the box uninstall driver, stop, disconnect the PC and install your video card.

You can do this after you change the BIOS settings.

  • Pavilion 15 p-020tx: Maximum RAM to Hp Pavilion P 15-020tx

I have Hp pavilion 15 p-020tx with 4 GB of RAM. It has an empty slot. I want to know how I can add the extra RAM. What is the MAXIMUM of RAM limit for my model.

I found a solution for my problem.

There are two slots for RAM in my laptop and I think that one was primary (where original RAM was installed) and other secondary (empty housing).

Unfortunately, by updating my RAM memory, I changed the position of the RAMS. either I put new RAM (Corsair 8 GB) in the main location (where my original RAM was installed by HP) and placed originals RAM (4 GB) in the secondary location. So my system detected no additional memory.

Now the positions of the Rams stayed original and my system has detected an additional memory so and showing 12 GB of RAM.

Are crucial bullsticks 8 GB of ram and 7 with 9 in ssd adapter compatible? I need an answer as soon as possible because I saw some discounts on these on amazon so that I won't have to wait for black Friday to get them again. And it would also be good if someone also indicates what screwdriver I use.

    Hey @Ajijawi,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I came across your post on the HP Pavilion dv6 - 1255ee Entertainment Notebook and eager to replace the hard drive of 9.5 mm or increase the RAM. Even if it could adapt to the Notebook ok. Queues screws could be different. Here is a link to your service manual page 69 for the hard card. I would really check this before buying new HARD drive. You may need to change so it does not move. The 500 GB SATA 6 GB/s SSD internal SSD 2.5 "would work for this model of laptop including that you have an AMD System.

This laptop supports up to 8 GB memory system DDR2, 800 MHz, PC2-6400, page 1-DIMM 32 of the manual above.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.
