PCI-6036E unrecognized

I have a PCI-6036E card running under LabView 6.  I'm upgrading to DAQmx (possibly under LabView 2014 but starts with LabView 8).  I received a new computer running Windows 7 Professional and loaded my LabView 8 on it.  I installed the card PCI-3036E but MAX does not recognize that it is there.  I refreshed (F5) but still does not recognioze it.  Under Windows, the Device Manager recogonizes the jury and said that the latest drivers are installed.  Why LabView does not?

Or that the old version of DAQmx and LabVIEW are supported on Windows 7. Why don't you go ahead and install LabVIEW 2014 and DAQmx 14?

I have a 6036E PCI data acquisition card. I want to use the SCXI 1520 Signal conditioner for my measurements. What are the accessories necessary for the installation of the SCXI-1520 module.

    Priyank

    Hi Priyankbit,

You would need to have a SCXI chassis with 1349 SCXI with cable Pin E Series DAQ 68 - 68 (SH68-68-EP) to connect the SCXI-1520 and connected to the PCI-6036E. You may need to have the connection to the SCXI-1520 block to connect your sensors to the SCXI-1520.

In detail, you can consult the SCXI page.

  • Impossible to install the driver OR DAQmx on OpenSuse 11.1

    Hello

I use NEITHER-PCI 6036E, NI PCI 6602 and card GPIB to run my experiences. Next to cards OR I only use the drivers: all programs are written in MFC. I would like to move my data acquisition to a Linux system (I am currently using OpenSuse 11.1 64-bit), however I have a problem installing NIDAQmx (8.0.1) for Linux. Any help would be appreciated. I have attached the log file of the installation failure and a file more indicated by the installer itself to help you diagnose the problem.

  • ReadCounterScalar Timeout error

I use the function DAQmxReadCounterScalarF64, that I have my period defined in 0.002 sec.  I'm running this function and collection of data at 100 Hz.  Looking at the data collected, I saw the incoherence of the frequency.  I used NI Trace of e/s to find out what was going on.  Here's what I found.

    DAQmxReadCounterScalarF64 (0x6DED5130, 0.002, 0, NULL) call duration 00:00:00.076 status:-200474 (0xFFFCF0E6)

As you can see, the call lasted 0.076 sec.  It is a longer time than the 0.01 dry that my code is executed.

My question is why this feature not during the time-out period specified?

My system running the .exe is Win7, DAQmx Device Driver PCI-6036E 9.5.5.  The code has been compiled with CVI 2010 v10.0.1

On the startup of the computer, the following error occurs:

It comes from before that all users are connected.  The system is a Dell PC with Windows XP and the NIDAQ V7.4.1 software on a PCI-6036E multifunction data acquisition.  I had the user uninstall and reinstall the national measuring Instruments and Automation Explorer, as well as drivers for data acquisition.  This message is easily rejected, however, once the user has logged on and tries to run the measurement and Automation Explorer, the error occurs again (several times) and the acquisition of data is not available in the list of devices.

Y at - it nothing short of a BONE re - install which will take care of this error?

Have you tried the removal of the corruption of database MAX?  Measurement and Automation Explorer is installed/used with different drivers, therefore, if all these drivers remained on the PC then so MAX.  Is this a new error?  Do you have something happen to the system that caused this happens?

  • software analog VI in LabVIEW 8.0

I have an old card PCI-6036E. In LabVIEW 7, it is possible to trigger an acquisition using waveform GOT scan VI, which is able to perform a 'software analog' trigger. Is there something similar in LabVIEW 8.0?

    Hi Luciano,

Thanks for your help. The signal that I am able is a short pulse (delta T 10 ms, a pulse only). I think you have just sent me the VI will solve the problem.

  • Analog output problem

I'm working on a project that gets an analog input by thermocouple and using temperature data according to certain criteria, the system will give analog current. The problem is then that gives the result of the daq assistant, only the preference of voltage is available in analog output and the program displays PCI-6036E and two channels of it. Current output Anolog is possible or if I use the output voltage must be to my connection go OR-6036E(it is inside the computer case) or I could use SCXI-1300 as I used to get input?

The 1102 is only a voltage input module, that is why it does not appear in the DAQ Assistant.  You will need to either straight out of the 6036E or you can buy a module for SCXI analog output as the 1124 or 1581.

  • HP m8000: unrecognized in the PCI-Express x 16 slot video card.

I am upgrading to a former m8000. Hp already put a new 750 watt PSU in it Corsair and it does not always recognize any of 3 pci-e video cards I've tried. I already went into the bios and changed the video settings to pci-e and still nothing. Is there only certain video cards compatible with this thing or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

This is because the latest gen video card is compatible with UEFI BIOS, not the legacy BIOS that has your PC.

The BIOS legacy do not see it as a gift.

You will need a video card that only inherited BIOS compatibility or that has a switch that allows you to group compatibility legacy BIOS and UEFI BIOS.   Sapphiretech of the 200 series r7 r9-300 series video cards meet the criterion.

  • HP Compaq 8100 Elite: Video unrecognized card in PCI-Express x 16 slot for security

I disable the PCI Express connector in the computer - security - Slot Configuration on BIOS.

I don't know that my card on Board did not work and now machine does not start, machine beeps 6 times (error video card).

    I can't access the bios.

I try to reset the CMOS, remove the Green rider, remove CMOS battery, press the button within 10 seconds, press the power button (to remove rest of energy.

    But none of it works.

    Can someone help me?

How can I reactivate PCI Express x 16?

    Hello:

If your integrated graphics card does not work, and reset the CMOS does not work, you can try putting the PCI express x 16 video card, you now have in the location PCIe White x 4 slot (slot next to the slot PCIe x 16 black white video card) and see if you can get into the BIOS to change the PCI x 16 setting.  It might work in the x 4 slot.

If it does not, you will need to install a video card PCI (the one that goes in one of the white PCI slots) and use it to get into the BIOS, so you can change the settings to enable the location of PCIe x 16.

So see if you can find a cheap, used, video card PCI on eBay, and should allow you to have the video again.

You should also make sure you have removed all the connections of the computer when you reset the CMOS (all cables, power supply, mouse, monitor, etc.).

  • Intel 750 PCIe SSD 2.5 "unrecognized in P700

    Hello

I recently bought an Intel 750 PCIe SSD 2.5 "drive and it hooked up to the TMIFA (adapter Flex ThinkStation Multi IO port) in the slot of a P700 flex. But the drive does not appear in the BIOS.

I was wondering if there are specific parameters in the BIOS linked to the operation of the flex adapter, which can affect the player connected to get recognized by the machine?

I tried to plug in a USB stick to the USB port on the TMIFA and it did work and appear in the BIOS. So the TMIFA seems to be OK.

Can we really that the 750 is a DOA?

  • 6251 PCI unrecognized by MAX (Windows 7)

    Hello:

I installed a PCI 6251 data acquisition in a PC that I use for Windows and real-time. In RT, the card is recognized and works well. But in Windows 7 it is not recognized by the Device Manager and it does not appear in MAX I got a PCI 6014 before and had no problems with it. The computer has LabVIEW 2009 SP1 and I don't know what version of NI-DAQmx I. Could you please tell me how can I know what DAQmx driver version I have installed and if I update the drivers DAQmx will be my PC 6251 will be recognized?

    Thank you!

Nevermind, I asked Device Manager to search for the latest drivers and the problem was solved.

    Thank you!

  • Unrecognized PCIe

I tried an update of the BIOS on my motherboard. Since then, even if the return to the original version of BIOS, my video PCIE card is not recognized by Windows. It appears in Device Manager, but does not appear in the display properties. I tried * everything *, including do a system restore, to fix this, but nothing has worked. Even my motherboard manufacturer is baffled.

It seems to me that if there is a registry setting that forces Windows in compatibility mode.

    Help!

Well, I discovered what it is - hardware failure, most likely my PCI video card. I got to the point where I was dismantling the system piece by piece and test it and after removing the PCI video card, that everything went back to normal.  Now, I have to get a new video card. * Sigh

(For the record, I was updating the BIOS on the recommendation of the manufacturer of the motherboard - Asus - to try to solve a problem with the new DIMMs not recognized. It didn't work, but this isn't a problem of Windows or Microsoft...)

  • 6036E DAQ works do not at the same time - OR-MAX-Bug?

    Hi all

I'm stuck with a strange question with two cards PCMCIA-6036E running on the adapters on a W7 32-bit desktop machine.

The adapters are two Texas Instruments PCMCIA adapters PCI-slots (show different IRQ in windows device manager).

But NEITHER MAX (5.6.0f0) doesn't recognize only one card, no matter what I do.

Only 1 card works in both slots adapter

Card 2 working alone in both slots adapter

But as soon as I place the second card in the other slot (any combo of it), it does not appear in the NOT-MAX Device Manager (itshows upward in the windows Device Manager, however).

I noticed that the serial number of the map displayed on the NOT-MAX preview is not updated tab if I switch cards - although I can see the serial number valid in the tab 'attributes', respectively.

Name change (Dev1--> Dev2) is not the case.

I suspect some sort of software problem; may be connected with the same serial number. It seems as if NEITHER-MAX is unaware of the second card, although they (or adaptors) seem to be clearly distinguished by windows. Maybe a problem of updating internal?

Another symptom: I plug in map 1 and test (work), I also connect card 2 (not recognized) then I remove the card 1 and NOR-MAX always tells me that a card is installed. But the serial number is not updated and tests/self-calibration fails.

I have not found any mention of such behavior. I now have to work with two separate computers that is terribly boring.

Any suggestions? This has been filed as a bug, or is there compatibility problems with PCMCIA adapters?

    Thanks for reading!

Okay, so I got an adapter PCMCIA alternative (different chipset), until the last DAQMX-improved version but no change - it is one or none.

According to me, it's rather a problem in NI MAX Panel and not driver related - but since there is no real prospect of a solution, I give up.

I'll mark this issue "resolved", even if it is not in a technical sense. It does not work as I want.

    Thanks for your suggestions!

  • 6036E PCMCIA + DAQmx (analog input) seems to only read in blocks of 512 samples of data

    Hello people,

I ask this question before I post any code or software versions etc to see if there is a simple answer.

I use a PCMCIA card 6036E to read an analog input channel (DAQmx... i. e create task, create the channel, set the altimeter (continuous samples), task, read in a programmed software loop while (ASAP)).  No matter how I put my sample rate, number of samples per channel (i.e. size of buffer), or the number of samples to be read, it looks like I can get multiples of 512 samples.

Here are some samples freq (Fs), the 'number of samples to read' asked and the actual number of samples read:

    FS numberOfSamplesRequested numberOfSamplesActuallyRead

    200Hz   20                                                 512

    1000 1024 5000Hz

    2000 2048 5000Hz

    QUESTIONS RELATING TO THE:

1 is this 'normal' behavior a 6036E PCMCIA card?

    2. in the case, has anyone who may have seen this problem determined the cause and how to "fix it"?

    Best regards

    Sort of.

Systems PCI DMA is used to transfer
the data, daqmx and receive messages when the number of samples are
acquis. Now on PC-card that does not work and the data is transferred
When the edge buffer is full (after 2 k of data) to 2 channels
10 Hz, it can take some time.
There is a work-around, there is a property where you can set the transfer mechanism (I have not daqmx on this PC), or the daqmx polling mechanism. Try these.
