  In reading other posts, the common remedy was to repair in the Panel.  Tried that.  Also completely uninstalled Reader, then ran another program of cleaning of Adobe, in the case where fragments stayed, then reinstalled.  Still nothing.

  I am sure that this problem started when I installed the XI player.

  It's probably a compatibility problem with libraries updated PDF vs you desperately old ACAD that cannot be resolved. In any case, I would consider it one of those things to try to attack the problem on the wrong end. All major CAD software have native PDF export these days and same ACAD had at least since v2006...

  Your Mac has the app iBooks on it (i.e. running Mavericks, Yosemite or El Capitan)? If it is then you add PDF files to iBooks (file > add to library) no iTunes - if you then connect the iPad to your Mac iTunes, they should then show on the tab 'books' selection and timing to the it

  Does not open my encrypted file and the key is lost.  I did it in windows 7 and my system crashed.  I then restoed operating system, then my encrypted file does not open and the key file is on the same partition and also, he was gone.  It of a personal record and is very important and punch.  I tried to take possession of the file and that did not work I was wondering if there is a tool or method which can decrypt the file.  I know that their around the key file, or if there is a way to get the certificate...   -Windows 8 and later versions

  -Mac OS (all users)

  -iOS (iPhone, iPad)

  -Android (phones and tablets)

  2. many people Windows have a web browser that can read PDF files anyway. This includes

  -Chrome

  -FireFox

  3. This means there are many different types of software that can read PDF files. If you do a simple PDF, you should be fine. If you make shapes or portfolios or media, your end users must install Acrobat Reader, even if they otherwise can read a PDF file.
