  Hey everyone, I'm tech-savvy so go ahead and throw detailed responses to me. I've recently updated for Windows 8.1 because first Pro CC (version 7.2.1) crashed at startup of Windows 8. After the update to Win8.1, it worked fine with my old 19-inch full-screen VGA monitors. However, after I installed the new HD widescreen monitors yesterday, I opened the first Pro and it starts very well and is stable until he treats a video file. If I'm fast enough, it will correctly import a file from the media browser, but as soon as it 'deals' video in the browser media or video in the timeline, Windows gives me the error "Adobe Premiere Pro CC has encountered an error and must be shut down".   I tried something last night after going through loads of forums.

  I tried F8 for advanced startup options, and I'll give you good last thinking setting up a go, known guess what, it worked!

  I was able to return in Office windows as usual, I even installed the update that it crashed on the last time, well, I think that he reinstalled the last update, it crashed on... anyway, I think I'm back to normal, but will check it out tonight but if you are still having problem try what I did It can work for you.

  That is a difficult question to debug.  I suspect a problem with the SELinux based on what you wrote.  You may consider to disable SELinux on the source before the conversion.

  In addition, it is advised to disable active servers (Tomcat and especially Oracle) before starting the conversion, you could try to do this.
