  I'm learning to build vi without physical connection. I have created peripheral pc16220 simulated able and Explorer. I tested the signal is a white noise. I went back to labview and code examples to locate the acq & chart - int.vi and voltage parameters inserted in the control of the physical channel and ran the vi. I got the sine wave.

  You can rephrase your message more clear to understand what are your questions?  You posted an image that does not exist.  It presents itself as a red X image.

  I found the property node DeviceIsSimulated by following the path down the palettes you have posted.

  I think you have to say you faked a PCI-6220.  I don't know how you "test signal is white noise.

  You can expect a different waveform when you change the channel of the simulated device?  When you simulate a device, you will always get a sinusoid signal.

  If you can specify clearly what you're trying to do, how it does not work, and where you have a problem and ask a question, then it will be possible to help you.

• NIDAQmx to simulate synchronized analog input from two devices of simulations?

  I would test synchronized analog input from two MFDs simulated from the NI6225.  I created two devices of simulated able NI6225 & Automation (M & A) and tagged the first NI6225a and the second NI6225b.   M & I created a RTSI cable configuration and added both simulated devices.  However, when you call NIDAQmx C functions in my test code, I get an error condition indicating that the simulations devices are not synchronized.  Before continuing, I would like firstly to confirm if NIDAQmx is designed to

  simulate synchronized the analog input data of two devices of simulations.  If this isn't the case, then it will explain the error condition that I have encountered in my test code.

  If I remember well used to support the simulated synchronized devices.   I ran various tests this week, but all fail.  I'm going to order/install a RTSI cable and test with physical devices.

• Devices of simulations not support value 'ReadRelativeTo' to 'MostRecentSample '?

  I use a device to simulate in my proposed acquisition of analog signal, and when I try to set the property 'ReadRelativeTo' of the workflow to "MostRecentSample", it throws an error saying that I can't use "CurrentReadPosition".  This happens with a simulation PCIe-6320 and PCI-6034.  I used this value with PCI-6034 real cards before, so the device should support, right?  Is this a bug or I do something wrong?

  Urgh.  I == fool.  I was not put the sample clock before attempting to start the task.  Problem solved.

• Is it possible to measure digital signals with devices of simulations?

  The simulated device configuration is the following:

  9174 chassis cDAQ (cDAQ1)

  -9215 (cDAQ1Mod1) (analog in)

  -9401 (cDAQ1Mod2) (digital i/o)

  With a digital line (e.g., line 4), I create a single pulse

  where the circumflex indicates the pulse short and simple.

  Is it possible to use a digital line (for example, the line 0) in to measure it in the device simulated using a kind of direct/indirect routing?  If so, how a set to the top of the digital input read task essentially read the output on line 4, internally?

  I use the nodes property of the system and peripheral DAQmx to get the logical name two card PXI, PXI-5441 and PXI-5610.

  When I ran the vi, nothing came.

  I then added a device simulated, the logical and physical name named were recovered.

  No idea why my vi does not return the two actual cards info?

  Hello Olivier,.

  The reason why your module PXI-5441 and PXI-5610 do not appear in the list of devices is because they are not DAQmx devices. You can get the same information using the niModInst get attributes of polymorphic VI installed device.  Of course, you also need to use the public meeting of the installed devices niModInst and niModInst screws of Session of installed devices close as well.

• The difficulty to launch android applications reconditioned on device PlayBook (Simulator OK)

  Just updated my android app and it passed verification.  I will install on my PlayBook, and it won't start.

  The application works on the new 2.0 PlayBook Simulator very well, but when I go to install on the current device, it installs, but will not start.

• Unable to launch the Device Manager Simulator

  13.04 Ubuntu

  Java 7

  inter i3 4 GB

  VMPlayer 6

  After installation the QNX Momentics IDE, I use Device manager download the sdk and Simulator.

  But I can't launch the Simulator. Nothing happen when I click on the launch button in the Device Manager.

  Unless you redefine the paths by default during installation, the Simulator will be located in the base directory under the folder named "bbndk" with all the SDKs BB10 and IDE files. (#1 below screenshot)

  After you download the Simualtor & VMware for linux:

  1 - Open VMware and click Open Virtual Machine

  2 - Go to the folder where the BB10 to add Simulator located in select it [in the./home/bbndk/]. VMX file

  3. now select the simualtor you want to start in the left menu in VMware and click 'play Virtual Machine'

• Difference between device and Simulator with respect to the entry of "consuming" with GUI.

  I have a built simple GUI that seems to work as I expect on the Simulator, but on the device whenever I press on enter a ButtonField, at the same time that the execution of the code in the FieldChangeListener attached to this button, I get a little menu in the middle of the screen which has only one entry, «Full Menu» I have to press ESC after the other key press to make this go away. I had a quick glance to see if there is something I should do to indicate that managers of button "consume" entry, it seems that this could be due to the underlying class screen receiving the entry as well, but since the fieldChanged method I implemented returns no that I see not where I should indicate this. I don't get this behavior in the Simulator.

  Add the ButtonField.CONSUME_CLICK style when you create your ButtonField and must consume the click, preventing the menu that appears.

  I would check what are the values you get for screen.width and screen.height.  On what version you have maybe you get something weird?

  Raise IntelliJ IDEA after that every change of AIR_IOS_SIMULATOR_DEVICE is the only way to get this working.

  Sorry, I thought that the System Configuration OR > LabWindows/CVI function appeared when you install OR-DAQmx (after selecting "Custom"), but it doesn't.

  Here's what you need to do:

  • Configuration of system OR download: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2613/lang/en (or select from the Driver DVD NOR)
  • Select LabWindows/CVI:
    
  • nisyscfg.h must be installed in %ProgramFiles%\National Instruments\Shared\CVI\include.
  • nisyscfg.lib must be installed in %ProgramFiles%\National Instruments\Shared\CVI\ExtLib\msvc. Note that it need to link against user32.lib as well.
