Performance - Remote PC temperature monitor

I work in a digital environment, where I have a few servers (2003) and about 130 machines XP - Pro. I often use performance-MS from one of my servers, monitor to observe the behavior of a PC remotely (memory and processor). Lately, I'm beginning to push some HD content. The GPU work much more difficult now, generating more heat. Remote machines are all attached to the policies and in scattered locations. As such, it is not practical to perform the usual culture of environmental services, such as speedfan.

Question:

Is it possible to use MS Performance Monitor, to monitor the various sensors of temperature of a remote computer. All servers and remote computers are part of a segmented AREA. Any suggestions are welcome.

For chipset temp, nVidia System Monitor, part of nVidia System Tools (no need to install the other two parts of system tools), also works well that's a bit inflated to install compared to HWMonitor.  On the positive side, it can display only what you want above the other windows in the small Panel.  "GPU" is the place for the good temp video integrated chipset or motherboard no matter what the choice is.
  • With Toshiba Tecra S3 RAID hard drive temperature monitoring

I wonder if there is a software (or a tweak for Toshiba RAID Utility/drivers) that would allow the monitoring of the temperature of the HARD drive.

Utility known as SpeedFan, HDTune etc., I tried, and that work very well at least with IDE drives, either don't notice not the hard drive SATA RAID at all on my Tecra S3, or they can not access the S.M.A.R.T on the temperature information (possibly information can not pass through Toshiba RAID drivers...)

    Thnx for any comments.

    Hello

    I usedEveresthome edition.
But I am an owner of the laptop with a disk IDE HDD and to tell the truth I don't know if it will support the feature m RAID.

    But you can test it.
This utility reports the HARD drive and the temperature of the CPU and provides many useful and detailed information on the characteristics of portable equipment.

I hope it's going to market

  • Remove a remote host from monitoring Infrastructure

How can I go about removing a host of infrastructure monitoring?  If the host has its own fglam, I was able to disable the agent simple, remove fglam, etc..  In this case, I see no option to turn off monitoring, or withdraw completely from the remote host monitoring.

In the screenshot below. Let's say that I simply wanted to see information of the rd-r220-01.  But I always wanted my central collector collect statistics on all remote hosts.

    See you soon,.

    Seth

If I wanted to stop monitoring of the vmebizjmc of the host, I'll stop the WindowsAgent. In the screenshot you can see other officers running from the host even where a foglight agent Manager is running. I can't stop foglight agent manager.

  • The remote gateway Tuxedo monitoring

Is it possible to control a Tuxedo domain traffic on a bridge to a remote domain (for example, WebLogic)? If so, would it then possible to say which remote node in a multi-node configuration is selected for a specific service request?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Smoking in itself does not provide for either. On the other hand TSAM provides both. TSAM can monitor traffic to remote domains and a request for follow-up since its introduction until it ends or leaves the Tuxedo environment. In other words, you can follow an application and WTC to the point of the bridge of exciting field, but not what gateway's connection. Now if separate you from your remote connections to separate domain gateways (GWTDOMAIN servers) then you would be able to know which remote WTC instance, the request went to.

We seek to be able to track the requests to the bottom of WLS and WLS in the tuxedo, but for now TSAM can monitor within one or more areas of Tuxedo.

    Hello

I am running windows 7 Home premium SP1 64-bit and the monitor above suggests that I try to delete the driver above because it slows down the startup / boot process

Can someone please suggest easy steps to remove the same and if there are implications for the removal of the driver

    Hello

What is there to process you followed to remove it... It's actually not a bad file... Its graphic driver Intel. Igdkmd64 sys is the Intel Graphics Kernel Mode Driver for Microsoft Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP 64 - bit operating systems.

the igdkmd64.sys file could be the driver Intel Graphics. Have you tried to download the drivers directly from the Intel web site? If this is not the case, try using this link:

  • Still no monitor temperature and no USB boot support

    Hello
Many users of Toshiba laptops I am disappointed because no CPU temperature monitoring utility, none support USB booting is provided for my laptop.
It is ridiculous that there is no utility that shows the temperature, the speed of the processor or the functioning of the fan.

Is there any solutions for this?

    Hello

1.) If you want to boot form USB you use the floppy drive.
2.) pre-installed Toshiba Software are responsible for the processor and the cooling performance module.
Open energy saver, and there you can change some settings. (CPU processing speed, the method of the cooling module)
3.) Unfortunately, this software does not support any temperature followed :(

  • Using resource monitor to connect remotely to another PC

    Hello

Is it possible to use the resource monitor in Windows 7 and 8 to connect to another Windows computer and know what is happening on it remotely? The monitor has a whole wealth of information that would be useful for troubleshooting other machines.

    Thank you very much

    vnayak

    Hi Vnayak,

Resource monitor is a tool that allows you to analyze the use of the CPU, disk, network, and memory in real time. You can use the performance tab in the Manager of tasks to see how the CPU of your computer is used by Windows and other programs running on your computer. You cannot use this tool to connect to another machine remotely.

However, you can use remote desktop to access other computers remotely and check the Information resource monitor.

  • S1900-303 monitoring CPU temperature

    Hello

I am aware that others have asked similar questions... but are - someone out there who knows if I can monitor the temperature of the CPU on my S1900-303...?

BIOS (updated Toshiba) give no indication of power management (sensors, etc.) ... I was browsing the web and downloaded several S/W (MBMonitor, MBProbe, SpeedFan etc)... but they do not seem to detect anything!

According to Intel (got a P4 2 GHz CPU) there is a sensor in the chip.
    Any suggestions/ideas

    Yiannis salvation,

Sounds strange! I searched the net and found some interesting links. These sites told me that the CPU on a 1900 Satellite temperature monitoring should be possible, so the problem is that no official statement from Toshiba!

You wrote that the laptop had detected the probe temperature, so in my opinion, the version of the BIOS disabled this feature! Two suggestions: first of all it must wait for a new update of the BIOS of Toshiba and hoping that the feature is turned on again or secondly take old BIOS and do a downgrade from the BIOS!

  • Resource monitor Windows vs performance vCetner tab

We looked at the CPU and memory on a virtual computer by using the built in Windows resource as well as the performance of vCetner tab monitor and data do not seem to be compatible. This morning for example resource monitor showed 30 second outbreak of the CPU at 100% but if I do a CPU view of this time in vCenter for CPU performance area, it does not appear there. Is one accuarate more than the other?

Performance in vCenter tables vary in collecting periods and rollups. I think that they breakdown as follows:

    Real time = 20 seconds

= Every 5 minutes per day

Each week = every 30 minutes

Every month = every 120 minutes

= Every year every 24 hours

Looks like you might be getting caught up between rollups. It is better if you look at the performance troubleshooting guide and see if that helps you. This is a great doc and thus covers esxtop.

  • New HP PAvilion DV7 temperature reach 70 degrees

    Hi guys,.

Need help. I just bought my HP Pavilion Dv7 last Saturday.

When I bought the shop, I've checked everything. and it seems ok.

When I come home, I noticed very hot temperature and fan noise sound like it accelerates.

then I installed temperature monitoring applications. It shows cpu temp is around 60-68 degrees during the inactivity and the use of 68 to 75 when heavy (install apps). is this normal? Help, please

I need to know that information, so I could find the appropriate plug at Intel.

The specifications of the processor to the Intel state that Tjunction is 100 c. which means 70 c is nothing to worry about.

If all goes well, there will be a BIOS that will change the performance of the fans to run a little cooler. Just keep an eye on the BIOS updates are available and read what the improvements are before the update.
