  • HPE h9-1001de: HPE h9-1001de - broken graphics card can I use the integrated graphics card Intel?

I bought this PC four years ago (just the version, not CS as in the link):

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docid=c03106002

The integrated graphics went broken today. Research on the spec Web site I noticed that the Intel's integrated graphics. I won't buy another video card, if there is a graphics processor integrated into the processor.

Indeed, there are two additional DVI ports; However, they are sealed with a sign "DO NOT REMOVE", and each port is sealed with two screws with a strange format (star with six faces?).

Why these DVI ports are sealed? Why with this format live strange? I hope that's not for licensing reasons, and that I'm still able to use them as DVI ports...

    Thank you.

    Hello:

I don't think it is sealed for any other reason than from your PC with a video of the add-on card, they would not people plugging in these ports DVI cables and by calling HP support complaining that the video does not work (because an add on card disables the integrated graphics card).

Remove your discrete PCIe x 16 graphics card, so the built-in graphics card is enabled, put your hand on the good size torx screwdriver and remove the cover, so you can use the integrated graphics card adapter.

  • HP Pro 3130 microtour: use the integrated graphics card Intel H57 Council

    Good afternoon.
Motherboard HP Pro 3130 Microtour here MS-7613.
What you need to install the CPU, which it was possible to use the integrated graphics Intel H57 Board adapter?
Poised the Lynnfield Quad Core Intel Core i7-870, 3300 MHz. It does not work with an integrated video card.

    Hello:

Please refer to page 3 of the quickspecs at the link below... specifically the part where it says: NOTE: HP Pro 3130 with Intel Core i5 750 processor or any what Intel i7 processor has no integrated graphics card.

  • Skyrim - using the integrated graphics card

My Dell has a built-in Intel and a dedicated Radeon card. For the high range, such as Skyrim 3D games, I obviously prefer to use AMD, but the game is auto detection of the onboard. I've tried everything. I tried all ini files and that you can find no reference to intel or AMD, display or whatever it is. I have manually disabled the card intel in Device Manager, but then the game comes with intel base made graphic, I went into the bios to try and the value of the main graphics card to AMD, but I can't find it anywhere in the bios (which has very very few options) I also used the AMD Control Panel to set the game to run using maximum performance , but continues to use the map intel. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks Matthew

You cannot set the AMD GPU as primary - it is not connected directly to the screen.  Only the GPU from Intel is directly connected - the AMD GPU is NOT a dedicated GPU.  It's a video coprocessor - all passes of video data by the Intel GPU on its way to the screen, even if it has been processed by the AMD GPU.

If you selected the AMD GPU for the game by using the catalyst control center, that's all that is needed. No matter where you look under Windows, you will always see the Intel GPU as active.  It is a system controlled by software - controlled material no.

Upgrade in Windows 7 Home Premium to professional

I have Windows 7 Home Premium (OEM Version) installed in Australia and bought a Windows 7 Professional upgrade key in the United States. When you try to upgrade using the Windows Anytime Upgrade feature, it tells me to use a different key, yet my upgrade pack tells me to use the Windows Anytime Upgrade feature! I bought the upgrade from a reputable store in San Francisco. Any ideas why it does not work?

2 change user account control settings

    3. pull the slider to the level as low as possible

    4. restart the PC

    5. pass by the "Anytime Upgrade" as usual

    Try the following:

1 disable any security software before attempting to upgrade

    2. make sure that your computer is updated (devices and applications)

    3. disconnect all external devices before installing.

    4. check your hard disk for errors:

    Click Start

Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD

    Click on "Run as Administrator"

At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r

When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

  • Can I use Centos on the merger as a web server "permanent"?

    Hello

so I plan on using Centos 5 as a web server permanent through VMware Fusion.

The goal is to be able to save all small pieces (MySQL database, web files, configurations...) of a Web server from a single blow.

    My worries...

Should I open a session to launch VMware Fusion?

Can I disconnect and keep VMware Fusion running?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Although VMware Fusion is not through its UI to provide functioning as a VM as a Service but yes you can do what you ask.

    Take a look on: [t-292873]

Use the information in "Starting a Virtual Machine without user login" to start the Virtual Machine and the method suspends in the section "Shutdown / Suspend Virtual Machine on Mac OS X Reboot/Shutdown.

Is there something I need to configure?

      • I tried to change the "Test.config" in the SPECweb2005\Harness, then get another .wrf as the attachment. **

    Thank you

You should not change the Test.Config file.

It seems that it cannot connect to your Web server.  Check that your Web server is running.  Check the logs at/usr/local/apache2/logs /.

Also, make sure that you do not have a firewall running on your client.

  • Can I use an existing Windows 7 Professional Upgrade DVD for Windows 7 Professional upgrade using the keys I bought instead of loading down?

I've updated three of my computers from Windows XP Professional for Window 7 Professional using kits of DVD I bought. I have three sets of Window 7 professional DVD in my possession. I bought a new license [facility provided by Microsoft key] for my ThinkPad. I ordered also accompanying the DVD, which I imagine will happen next week. Rather than wait for the DVD, can I use one of my existing 32 Bit Windows DVD for installation to upgrade with the new license key that I got from Microsoft?

No problem - but you might want to wait, if your existing DVD is the original version, because a new will have SP1 integrated, so it'll even some hassles :)

Thanks for getting back to me.
