Phone call Api for BB10 Dev Alpfa

Please Post me the link to the documentation for the api calls telephone handeling as my application will integrate with the phone to respond to its

There is no documentation on the API for integration with the ability of the phone, nor any commentary from the RIM when or if they will never provide such an API.

If I were you, I wouldn't count on the possibility to deliver your application before the launch of BB10, that I don't personally expect that they will have an API for this loan by then. Some time later... it's just my own speculation, however.

  • BlackBerry Z10 LTE Drop on phone calls

I'm on the Bell Mobility network in city Edmonton Center with my Z10. I still have an LTE coverage for my Z10. When I run a phone call he begins in LTE with HD Audio then immediately falls to the HSPA network +, for the duration of the call (and I lose the HD Audio). LTE is good once I disconnect the phone call. For the phone call, I'm not walking but stay in the same place. I do not use my phone or also travel a lot so I don't have a lot of different scenarios to see if this is everywhere all the time. Has anyone else noticed temporary fall of LTE network while in voice calls?

I got a little more guidance on what happens here through some contributors of Crackberry, so I wanted to share them here too. Voice does not work on the current LTE network - that is to say LTE is just for the data so that HSPA + is for voice. So by default when you start a voice call unit must always go down to the HSPA network +. HD Audio works on the network, HSPA +, but you will have to call another device supporting it. More particularly the more advanced of iPhone5 Android and other Z10 devices. HD Audio does not work when it comes to fixed lines.

In my scenario, it seems that everything works fine. I rarely call other cell phones (in general I call fixed) so it'll be hard for me to 'test' and provide additional comments.

  • I use my iPhone 6 very often to my office for phone calls.  This will help overall battery life to stay connected as I have all these phone calls?

I use my iPhone 6 very often to my office for phone calls.  This is my work phone.

This will help life battery together if I keep the phone plugged in my phone calls?

    Thank you

SUSE, you can use it while connected and in this way when you unplug to get somewhere, you know you will have a fully updated beautiful upgraded battery.

Just don't leave it plugged constantly all the time — weeks or months.  A battery lithium needs periodically some running through it.  But certainly leave it plugged during the day of the company while using it, or even just for long calls will do no harm.

Battery life is determined by the cycles, so if this reduces the rate of your phone through equivalent full charge and discharge cycles it can not hurt self-help (depending on how you use it, it cannot help battery life much either, but it probably won't hurt it).

  • I've been doing a series of phone calls telling me that my license key for my Windows is about to expire. Is it a reality or just somone trying to rip me off?

Last week to 10 days, I received lots of calls from someone called PC Support (which sound as if they come from the India) telling me that they want to access my PC to show me the problems that are reported to them from my ISP about something and real operating system Windows on the license key is about to expire.

I suspect that it is a new scam to try to sell the product, anti-virus/malware any... but it got me wondering whether or not it is a real-world scenario.

Can someone me one way or another?

    Thank you.

I got a phone call from someone who said they were from microsoft and my computer was in danger, unless I paid 130 pounds for a new warranty, is it a scam?

    Hi Debra,

It's a SCAM! Microsoft does not make that neither have they partners that do and don't they hire contractors or individuals or even to find volunteers to do. There are probably thousands of these companies out there do every day - we get two or three posts like this (or more) each day ask about it. You are lucky who have recognized the scam enough not to be sucked in and eventually identify theft, infections, hacking your computer, convince you to buy software or services you either did not need or that do not really exist at all and all sorts of nefarious stuff. You'd be surprised how much contact us AFTER THAT that they realized they had been duped asking what to do. Don't waste time talking to these people, not give them any personal information it is, don't be fooled by what they can get allows you to see on the computer - in fact, not do anything they suggest on your computer or even to visit Web sites they recommend and for the love of God don't give them access to your computer.

Microsoft knows this is happening, but with these companies popping up like dandelions, or closing and changing names when discovered and operating mainly from abroad, it would take an army of lawyers to sue each other. They do the best they can, but they are just too many and more added every day. People need to pay attention to these things. They occur not only by telephone, but also by e-mail, instant messaging, mail and all the ways imaginable. Forget not that Microsoft doesn't this and hang up or remove the emails or messages or mail from someone claiming that they do because they know the information on your computer or that you want to get information from you to confirm your account so that it will not be closed and asking you your name of user and password and all sorts of other personal information. Microsoft DO NOT!

See below for additional information on this topic and what to do and how Microsoft works:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/securitytipstalk/archive/2010/03/09/Don-t-fall-for-phony-phone-tech-support.aspx

I'm glad you don't get captured by these crooks and save yourself a big headache. Continue to use the same caution and you should do fine.

    Good luck and best wishes!

  • Phone call from a person who claims to work for Windows.

Occasionally my old computer crashes when I read a Blog, and I have to close it manually.  When I start backup it asks if I want to send an error message.  If I do not send the message, in a few days I get a phone call from someone claiming to work for Windows and they want access to my computer.  Is it a coincedence?  It happened three times in the past months, and I know that Microsoft does not call customers.  So is there someone who works at Microsoft who does something they shouldn't?  The people who have always had Indian accents or Chinese who are difficult to understand.

  • Continue to receive phone calls from a person claiming to be Microsoft's London saying that my phone sends messages of error for them

    Original title: Security

Hello, I keep getting phone calls from a person claiming to be from London saying microsoft my phone sends error for them messages constantly and I have to follow the instructions they try to tell me over the phone, I don't have resisted that so far, but im more and several phone calls, I didn't gave them no information whatsoever

Fake phone calls to technical support

Calls unrequested telephone of this nature are almost always a common scam. Do not let them give any info, do not give access to your PC, not give them all the money and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment.

    Please see:

Microsoft issues never not solicited for phone calls of support or security.

These types of callers can use completely fictitious names or bogusly claim to be of real companies other than Microsoft as well.

Hi all, I got a phone call from a guy yesterday saying my computer downloaded currupt and Marie-Claire files and had asked, on behalf of microsoft, to contact me this was a business partner?, it was the Indian accent but did not speak good enough English if you listened well, at this point, he had my full attention that my computer was slow in the months , I explained that I had someone find and remove programs for me to speed it up, but it was persistent in getting me in front of the computer. He said he could help me and show me the problems? I asked name hes, he gave and he even new my name and what platform I was using. I don't remember the name of the company, that he said, that he was but the phone number was 0206 something something? After reading this other storys hoax here had me calm worried, he explained that the problem needs to be fixed and I must say after testing to see if he was legitimate, he even said that he would put the supervisor on... He explained to me the same thing and although I challenged somemore on what it could be anyone he said sure, but were not trying to make that you are something weird to us, cannot remember everything exactly, but I said ill insatall a virus program myself, who while he became upset, saying big companys will charge you loads just go on your computer so that I can that I you Guide in that says im?
