  This is my 3rd phone dying, Sony VAIO = mothercard dead after 1.2 years, Fujitsu Amilo xi = exploded after 3 years and now Toshiba HD after 8 months.

  The USB port on the HARD drive may have been damaged and may be causing the PC detect a short power.

  You can try another USB cable? If it is not the cable, then the HARD drive should be sent to a Service Center for repair or replacement.

  I just bought a Compaq Presario CQ62-219WM 2 days ago. • Z10 blackBerry a way to disable the bluetooth handset and use activate streaming audio only?

  I use bluetooth in my car to make or receive phone calls and it only allows you to stream Pandora.  On my previous BBs, I was able to disable the handset function and just use streaming, but I'm not find similar options on the Z10.  Does anyone know how to do this?   Since we bought the machine we had problems with the graphics card when the machine goes to sleep (returns with a low resolution). I checked this forum and found messages recommending to try a bios update. I tried this (using the correct update) and the machine just hung when it ran saying preparing the bios update.

  After about an hour, nothing happened and the machine was just hanging - everything we could do was to removed the battery. Now, it is quite dead, and it's not even a power led. We tried to remove the battery, double checked the connection to the sector and he died. Help appreciated - it is a big problem for us.

  I found a thread on Microsoft answers community web site.  Unfortunately, it seems that Microsoft has not fixed even though this thread is over a year.  This has been driving me crazy.  In any case, the problem is with Windows 8.1 and is caused by the use of a Microsoft account to connect to the computer.  If the account is not connected, after a few hours the computer stops to fall asleep.  If you close the MS account, then the computer will sleep normally.  My dose is to convert my connection from the local computer to a local account and disconnect from Microsoft.  This process is easy to do, go into the settings of PC and disconnect the account.  It will keep your original profile.

  I consider this resolved issue that HP is concerned.  Microsoft needs to address the issue.  I'm not interested in switching to Windows 10 for compatibility reasons and, in this regard, the same problem can exist in the W10.
