Phone smart BlackBerry smartphone connection failure when you try to synchronize contacts

When I try to synchronize my contacts with outlook all of a sudden, I get a message that says: "the device cannot connect. I've recently upgraded to 4.7 DM. I don't know if this could have something to with it. Now, I tried to uninstall this upgrade and go back to a previous version of DM. Any ideas on what could cause my BB to not be more recognized by my system?

Thanks in advance!

Just, I solved the problem by pulling the battery and then plug the BB into my computer. This something reset and now it works. Weird. Thanks for your reply.

Just to be sure your BlackBerry is not a test of policy COMPUTER looking in Options-> Security-> General settings and scroll down to see if there is anything that is listed next to the field name of the IT strategy, if you see something there default even you have a COMPUTER policy.

    Hello

you don't need Roxio just to move the images, just use your Blackberry as a USD external memory card reader.

  • Phone smart BlackBerry Smartphones connected to others

This is a really weird problem: my phone is a "BOLD" and my spare phone was a Curve 8310. I used the curve as a spare a couple of times, when I had the "BOLD" in phone service.

I wiped the curve with the JL_commander and installed the operating system again in order to give the phone as a spare for my son (he has a "BOLD") and even if the curve has SIM of my son, he continues to receive ALL my emails.

I then wiped once again with the JL_commander until I received an error 507. Then I did a new install of the latest operating system and gave the phone as a hot spare for my daughter (she has a storm), and then we had the same problem, even though she had his SIM.

Apparently, the curve is somehow related to my "BOLD" and continues to receive the same letter of my 10 email accounts.

My real service provider is Optus (Australia). I called them and they told me that they do not have Blackberry PIN of the curve in their system, so that they cannot understand what is happening and they couldn't do anything, and in addition, the curve was from AT & T (USA) and "BOLD" of Optus, so that they serve the curve.

Furthermore, I have no service of the company.

    Could you please help me.

First of all: thank you VERY MUCH JSanders. I appreciate your interest.

Second: I solved the problem. I called T-Mobile, because I realized that I used this curve with them, when in the USA and he asked them to REMOVE MY PINS on their system. Very nice they did it and voila! The curve does not receive my emails more.

    Thank you!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones no response when you try to click on the links on web pages

    Hey y ' All

This is a problem that came only in the last day or two...

Had my Blackberry 9000 for a few weeks and have been able to use internet with it with no problems. However in the last two days, I find that I can no longer click on all links using the trackball. There is no response either whenever I tried to click on the links. This is valid for all websites on all three of my browsers on the device. Text based links, I can just use the command 'Get Link' or press 'enter', but these options are not available for links based on java as the buttons of opening session on Yahoo and some other sites, therefore, I can not in them.

In addition to the above issues, the trackball seems to work very well. I am able to click on bookmarks, that seems to work... and all the other functions of the trackball (AFAIK) seems to work very well. It's just when I'm on websites that I can't click on the links either.

    I hope this makes sense

    Thank you

    Greg

Have you tried to reset the device by removing the battery for a minute? After that the battery is given to, it will restart in any 1-3 mins, then try it

    Thanks for trying to help.

In my case, it did not help.

I followed the instructions on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5gpIGZXDXw.

The key was the update of the firmware, I think.

  • I found that if it becomes necessary to use time machine to return to an earlier existence to reinstall the iphoto library, if for some reason, you lose lose, then when you try to synchronize your ipad is not recognized by the computer.  As one

I found that if it becomes necessary to use time machine to return to an earlier existence to reinstall the iphoto library, if for some reason, you lose lose, then when you try to synchronize your ipad is not recognized by the computer.  So when you try to synchronize the pictures, they are all removed from the ipad and trying to reinstall everything again.

This may or may not work immediately.  In my case, only half the photos have been installed, and then the error message came that the rest of 9000 can be installed.

I contacted Apple support team who has made various suggestions.  Subsequently clicking on a photo list in iTunes were all going again and pictures of 9000 then installed.  When I asked the support team what could happen I was told that it was a "glitch".  I don't like seeds they mean that there could be an error in coding somewhere.

Here me again.  I use an iMac and iPad.  I don't know why XP and iPhone came.

  • Phone smart BlackBerry Smartphones had a problem connecting to the server - 8520 new message

No emails received from a few days ago. I tried to configure the wizard's original e-mail accounts and got the message appears on the header of the message. Have you tried restarting pop battery without success. Also, during another attempt to implement email message "your connection to the mobile network is turned on, but you are not in a wireless coverage area. came. Subsequent attempts gave me the message "device had a problem..." ». Checked my wireless connections and everything is nice and connected. Messenger of Blackberry etc. everything works fine. Phone worked fine until a few days - ideas please.

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • Phone smart blackBerry Smartphones first and I am confused - loads of questions

So, I am trying to get a handle on this new Blackberry.  I'm upgrading to a Motorola RAZR v3 and the learning curve is steeper than I expected.

I bought unlocked on amazon.com and slipped my service from T-Mobile Prepaid SIM inside (no data plan).  I managed to get my contacts in there (not perfectly, but they are there).  I figured out how phone and text (yay).

After a few questions, I finally convinced my router it was OK for the Blackberry to connect. I understood that I must use the Hotspot browser for surfing the net via my wifi connection and successfully, went to gmail and my personal site.

First question: how zoom a page?

Second, I think I can surf very well, but when I check the status, Wifi is not checked, it has a dashboard.  I'm sure he had a tick when I first put in place last night.  What is the dashboard and how to fix this?

Where is my real problem is set up email - when I go to the configuration of email, I only get the choice of "corporate email.  It is not useful

I need to know better what are the limits of the Unit regarding internet access - I thought I could use it as my Ipod Touch, which of course has * only * wifi.  I've set up email on this subject, no problem.  I have read in various places that it does not require a data plan for electronic mail, in other places, it takes a data plan to "use the wifi.  Well, what for, since I can surf the net fine?

Could also use some advice on how to get additional applications, and if they will work through the connection of the phone, wifi, both or none.

Oh!  And one of the reasons I bought this particular phone are that it supports UMA - this is supposed to go to the WiFi during a call, if the cell is too low.  My cell in my house link of sucks (even with an extension of the cell).  It is, on a device with no data plan, but a strong WiFi, that function will work?

Sorry for so many questions, hope that y ' All can help me!

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

All (or almost) your questions can be answered in one sentence.

You need the BlackBerry data Plan on your account. It will not work on a prepaid account. As simple as that.

With THE BlackBerry data Plan email browser set, full employment, UMA WiFi calling AND it's cute little check mark by the installation of WiFi.

Wait - what about applications?  Apps will not work with Wifi either? Why not?  Make my Ipod Touch apps...

I spend $100 per YEAR for access to the phone.  TMobile wants me to pay $40 a month for a blackberry data plan.  Phooey.
