• What is the best for high school, iPad or MacBook?

  Hi guys, I just want to ask what would be better since I'm High School and I could have the intention if I could get a MacBook or just use my iPad air 2. I use my iPad to make presentations and a lot of things that can make a MacBook.

  If the air of the iPad 2 is enough for me, so I'm going to stay and use it. Unless the MacBook have more benefits.

  Most of what you need to do in school would involve probably navigation for tasks related to research, a tool of processing as the Pages of Apple or Microsoft Word software and of presentation creation like Apple Keynote or Microsoft Powerpoint. These are all the things the iPad can do quite easily. However, it really depends on your school and what courses you'll take. Try it using the iPad and if you feel this is not enough, then look into a MacBook.

• high school: when closing the reference?

  Hi, just a quick question if anyone can it clearify I thank so much.

  Lets say, I load my VI in a secondary, then after it's in high school I want to show or hide the menu bar.  Can I use a node property to show or hide the menu bar of the VI in the secondary, but I can only do this by using the reference to the VI, if it has not yet been closed.  In this case, you don't want to close until you are done with it.

  You do not leave open indefinitely in both cases that you have demonstrated, so there is no memory problem with both methods of references.

• Problem with the Cisco ASA 5525 X SFR and Firesight high school

  Hi team,

  We have two ASA 5525 X installed on them and Firesight in a Linux VM whose two SFRs are registered with SFR failover mode. We use the SAA secondary off the hook if the primary fails to turn on the secondary manually switch the wan cable. I turn on the ASA secondary every weekend to take the configuration of the primary for the ASA and the SFR and close by button walk / stop.

  Last week I turn on high school ASA and the Firesight couldn't see the secondary SFR and show the message below:

  Module device heartbeat: device > don't send heartbeats.

  (I should mention I can Pinger the IP ADDRESS)

  I tried to study the problem without success.

  I also deleted the sensor just Firesight devices management in case something is stuck, and I'm trying to re added without success.

  I'm new in firepower so... any ideas?

  each single-user license, it's just that, for a single user and can not (legally) be shared between two different users.

  programs of CC can be installed on pc or mac.  each user can install on an unlimited number of computers, but can only connect to, at most, two computers at a time.  These 2 computers can be 2 pcs, 2 macs, or one of each.

• How to navigate in a running block diagram which is used in a high school?

  I have a Subvi called Servo.vi which is called several times (cloned) in my application. The façade of a selected Servo.vi is placed in a secondary school in my Main.vi so that Servo.vi can be controlled from the front panel. When the Main.vi is running, if I use the block diagram of Main.vi to access a clone running of the Servo.vi and double click it, LabView 2010 navigates me to the secondary running at Main.vi, instead of a separate Panel. But I am not able to show the block diagram of the cloned since high school running in Main.vi Servo.vi.

  How to navigate a diagram of block a VI clone running that runs in a high school?

• Save the value LVOOP to the default value of the class programmatically

  Hello!

  I was stuck on this little problem for quite awhile, maybe I can't see the wood for the trees, my intention is perhaps utopian

  Here's what I want to do: retrieve the default value of an existing *.lvclass class (not), change it to some sort of Setup, and then save the back by default to the *.lvclass file (or any other).

  The only planned mounting is on changing the default value, no more, no less.

  I tried a few magic Server VI in vain (LabVIEW crashed)

  Any suggestions?

  With some, as you named: "Magic VI Server", it is possible to edit the default class data and save it as the same/new class. However, there are at least three major problems:

  • This is not possible in the runtime, because it requires features available only in script development
  • If you want to save the class changed as the new class, she would need to copy all the screws and the controls of this class
  • It is simply inefficient.

  So before we go any further, could you explain more thoroughly, why would you want to? If you have two classes, which are exactly the same, but differ on data default field values, this is absolutely not a good idea and not a good software design. And relying on the default values may generally lead you to unexpected behavior of your program in the future, when you decide to change these default values.

• REF InsertedVI of high school still not valid when using VI Server

  I'm trying to access subpanel controls (in an executable file) via the server of VI, but he doesn't seem to be allowing me to get a valid reference to the inserted VI (1026: VI reference is invalid).  If I use the same code in the executable itself, it works fine.

  The executable file and the VI that I use to try to get a reference to the Secondary VI is attached.

  OK, I see the problem, VI references are local to the instance of LabVIEW that generate them. When you read the VI reference, you get the correct numeric value (as evidenced by the fact that it is zero). However, in the development environment from which you access the executable, the reference is not valid. This reference is only valid in the environment of the executable. What you need to do in the executable is to get the name of the VI in high school, when you insert it and store that name in a FGV. Then from your remote application, read this FGV - and you will have the name of VI.

• Windows for high school students

  I recently bought 102 new computers for our school. However, we need help in the finalization of the OS. Computers have come only with the BACK. I contacted a Microsoft Vendor and he says that he must first install the Windows 7 starter pack and then upgrade to Windows 8 Pro. I do not understand why the high school would require a BONE also advanced as windows 8 pro! Some people has also been suggested that I go to a university degree. Here, any help is appreciated. We want to reduce the costs that we are not a commercial organization.

  So I think that it gives you the best options. About the only alternative might be to go directly to the Windows 8 Pro OEM (EULA allowed) but that would almost certainly miss out on academic discounts and I don't know how the price would compare i.e. 8 bulk OEM Pro vs 8 academic Pro.

  That alternative OEM however would give downgrade you rights to Windows 7, I don't think is academic.

  Hi, I came across this site and I think it is very interesting and I was wondering if anyone else had met and discovered how it could contribute to the design of websites using Muse.

  I was intrigued by the description given on the panels of materials and dimensions.  So far, I thought only of the layers whose size 2 x - y but here told us on the rise.

• What is the point of finding info from the class?

  Currently, at school, I learn about how to get information about an object. This has to do with polymorphism. You can rotate all objects in a polymorphic table, unless it's a circle.

  This will give you information about a class. With the help of class class can create a ClassNotFound exception and is generally more difficult to code.   Sometimes, you want to create a code that loads the classes during execution.

  The compiler does not know about the class. If you need information on the class in a generic way.

  This is not possible with your example because the compiler needs to know your class so that it can compile.

• How to hide the classes in the library

  I'm developing a new project of library flex with the following design requirements:

  * api design using logical packages for clarity, etc.

  * api does not expose private/internal classes

  Using the modifier class "internal" prevents me to organize the api in packs of logics.

  I believe you can "hide" the classes through the use of namespaces, but I have not found all the samples that apply to classes, only functions.

  Namespaces don't hide classes (as I know).  I know not NDA you could put a class in a custom namespace (ala mx_internal).

  But, you can use the excludeClass metadata to prevent a class to appear in the code hinting.  There are many examples of this in the Flex Framework.  I think it is a bound the DateChooser CalendarLayout class you can dig up for example.
