Upgrade RAM G5320gr problem!

I have the G5320gr desktop pc and I tried to improve his memory. I saw the specifications of the motherboard and I bought the following RAM http://www.corsair.com/en/cmx8gx3m2a1333c9 . If you see the plug suits perfectly with the motherboard, but when I installed the pc turned on and there is no signal on the screen (I tried all combinations of slit and using only the 1 DIMM). I updated the BIOS of G5320gr site of the bios update and still nothing works.

I bought a 1 year ago graphics card, but it works fine edition 2 GB Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce GT 630

Help me please, thank you. Theodore

There is a major difference between the memory corresponding to the plug and modules which are guaranteed compatible memory manufacturers. Memory Corsair, which you bought is different (GR5320de) for a motherboard that has a NVIDIA Geforce 6150 chipset and an AMD processor. Corsair does not seem to make memories for your specific PC. I suggest to return the RAM.

Crucial however is memory for you PC. See the following link.  http://UK.crucial.com/GBR/en/compatible-memory-for/HP---Compaq/HP-g5320gr

Your motherboard is unfortunately not as such in a Board of level of enthusiasts. A mother of amateur level to change the tension of memory modules and primary and secondary settings.

the modules are completely identical? They come from the same manufacturer? If not, then your problem is solved and you should go to the store where you purchased this RAM and exchange for a compatible.

  • Upgrade Ram on a Netbook NB200 - 00L

I gave to my two daughters a Netbook Toshiba NB200 - 00L. Both came loaded with Windows 7 Starter. If I just upgrade to Windows Home Premium, it will slow down computers. I was told that the maximum ram that can take netbooks is 1gig. However, I keep seeing that people are upgraded to 2gigs. I want to upgrade the ram so that Windows Home Premium will work better. Can someone enlighten me on this subject. Upgrading ram Home Premium support will be more effective? Also, is anyone Home Premium running on their netbooks without upgrading, and it is really slow? Thank you

    Hello

AFAIK NB200 can be upgraded to 2 GB of RAM. Therefore, you can check the specs on the Toshiba site!

I m not NB200 owner but I improved my other laptops equipped with modules from Kingston. I've never had a problem with these modules. They always run stable and don t make problems.

I want to upgrade ram 2x2gb (SAMSUNG) to 2 x 4 GB (CORSAIR). Only the ram that I put in the location #1 is recognized as a result system starts and detects 6 GB of RAM. When I put the RAM 2nd Slot #2, the PC does not start. It seems that it does not detects hard (the LED on the front of the PC don't not ligth during startup). I can't go into the BIOS (even if I press the F2 key), black screen, all I can do is power off.

I'd appreciate your help, if you have an idea.

    Hello

First some general information on your machine:
Your laptop can be upgraded to the top 8 GB and max upgrade, you can use both modules of memory of 4 GB.
Compatible 4 for GB DDR3 - 1066 MHz apart number PA3677U-1M4G. Module of memory with this part number is tested and 100% compatible with your device.

If you check this forum you will find number of threads as your one, where people try to level of RAM using Rams Corsair and spoke of the same problems. Obviously the reason for non-working machine is compatibility issue with these RAM modules.

The 'value' Modules of RAM use many markets good chips using several banks/channels, which can cause problems of compatibility with some chipsets/CPUS.

I highly recommend to use high quality and 100% compatible modules of RAM from Toshiba or Kingston.

    Hello

So I have upgraded RAM using 2 x 4 GB SODIMM DDR3 Corsair 1600 Mhz, after installing the PC boots but screen is white/black

    steps to follow:

    1. I tried with 1 socket by using only a RAM, screen black

    2. I tried with 2 socket using RAM only one with the same RAM step 1, screen black

    3. I tried step 1 and 2 using the other RAM, screen black

    now here it gets interesting

4 tried 1 socket using Original/factory RAM, screen black

5 tried 2 socket using Original/factory RAM, screen black

    6. tried without any RAM at all, looks like a lack of RAM, screen black

Now, to each measure adopted, I must say that the screen sound not only not showing things, but its totally black as it does at all, until the system starts normally. !

Is it Possible the upgrade of RAM affect the screen? or maybe when I was replacing the RAM I hit some conecting by cable to screen or something?

  • CC 7100 cmt: questions upgrade ram cmt dc 7100 (please help)

    Hey all,.
There is history... or you can just go to the section "cut to the Chase" to the bottom of the post

    The long story...
my name is chris, and I'm trying to help a 14-year-old son, friends learn a lil more on his old pc.

his pc has a hand and is obviously outdated, I got a bunch of old carcasses of office and let him rumage anything that would contribute to his pc. We found a total of 3 GB of ram ddr400mhz which is just below its limit of 4 GB machines.

so I thought everything would go smoothly, it is certainly not my first ram upgrade, having built many of the old desktop computers it was inflict through, I consider myself pretty well informed on the pc and have renovated a lot of pc, same Freelancer my skills of mechanics and tokens for a lil extra cash on the side I have dealt with many a problem, repair and upgrade, since I took my first windows machine in 2000, before that I started with a commodore 64 and eventually got an apple iic when I was about 10 years old... anyway, what im getting here, is I USED to know my s#@t, but for some reason any It's evading me and google isn't offering anything on the subject.

We planned on him to update to sp3 after have modernized their equipment as much as we can, while at the same time educate him as much as I could about how the computer worked, how to open and how to treat the components inside, it was the first time, he had never looked inside his machine or any machine besides...

However, because of delays and the issue with the ram does not, I eventually send him home with the same stock set up, he brought to me.

    Cut to the Chase

The problem here is that for some reason when I install 1, 2 or 3 the cards of ram 1 GB the machine do not post and triggers a series of beeps system, so obviously something isn't jiving, and I can't put my finger on it.
I can use 1,2,3 or all 4 of his stock [256 MB ddr 400 mhz] ram cards and it will display and start with change messages memory clear system, however, when you use less than four of its ram slots, a message is launched upward during post, stating something to the effect of all the slots must contain the same amount of ram

We are working on PC is a:
    HP DC 7100 CMT
    Windows XP SP2

    current installed RAM is [256 MB ddr 400 mhz] x 4 = a total of 1 GB

    tried to upgrade RAM parts:
    Ballistix [1 GB ddr 400 mhz] x 2 = a 2 GB total

    more

Memory Dell [1 gb ddr] (mhz are not)

I thought it was probably a bios thing and was about to investigate, but we ran out of time, now I'm tender hand to this community in the hope that someone here can indicate what it is I'm obviosly dominant, I really want to get his machine is upgraded because it is expessing a lot of interest in Unity3D , and scripts, ANDS I'd like see hiw cultivate these skills and I can't buy a machine, and he cannot afford a new machine, so the upgrade of its rigging with these old quarters would be the most ideal situations for him, if we cannot find out we will simply create a new rig out of my 'old' , but the 3.0 ghz core dou in his dc 7100 cmt processor is probably better than any of the alternatives in my attic... so yes this is my dilemma and I hope that some here is kind enough to point me in the right direction

    Thank you and best regards,
    Chris

    Hello:

You must have the total amount of memory in slots 1 and 3 are the same, and the same quantity in slots 2 and 4.

The PC will not work if you put 1 GB in slot 1, 1 GB in slot 2 and 1 GB in the Groove 3 because you're short 1 GB in the empty slot 4 and just short of 1 GB in slot 4 = 5 beeps.

Then... If you do not have 4 x 1 GB then use 1 GB in slots 1 and 3 and 256 MB in slots 2 and 4.

See the table below on page 16 memory configuration.

  • Why Windows Aero does not work after upgrade RAM?

After that I recently updated my computer desk with 2 new modules 1 GB DDR PC3200 400 mhz 184pin RAM

    PROBLEMS:

    * Windows recognizes only 3.5 GB of RAM on 4.
    * Windows Experience Index will not refresh the WEI Score.
    Any help with this?
I'm back to the old RAM modules and all is well, but whenever I update the last two RAM modules, these errors occur.

    MY RIG:
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate.
    SR1830NX Compaq
Max supported RAM: 4 GB PC3200 400 Mhz 184pin DDR (4 Slots of 1 GB each)
Configuration of the RAM before upgrading (physical)
    SLOT 1: 1 GB
    SLOT 2: 1 GB
    SLOT 3: 512 MB
    SLOT 4: 512 MB

    Configuration of the BIOS:
Slot SCHEDULES 1,2 & 4: 1 GB in each slot
SLOT 3: 512 MB (even if it has 1 GB installed in this slot)

You seem to have a hardware failure with slot 3. See if there is an update to the BIOS of your card mother, but don't hold your breath. There may not be one and he will probably not correct the problem if there is.

There is always to be small amount of RAM allocated to the system. Integrated video will be stick like a leech some as well as the network interface card. It's normal, regardless of the version of the installed operating system bit...

  • Dv5 1170el upgrade ram from 4 GB to 8 GB [HELP]

    Hi all

I have HP Dv5 1170el with this configuration:

    • CPU: Intel Core Duo T9400
    • RAM: 4 GB ddr2 SODIMM 800 mhz pc2-6400
    • HARD drive: 320 GB (5,400 rpm) Scorpio

I ordered a Samsung 500 GB SSD and I want upgrad RAM 8 GB (expandable to the maximum), but my problem is:

I have been informed that probably not all the ram can be installed on this laptop (same model, same mhz but different brand)

I found online this similar to the one already installed RAM but would like to learn from experienced users, it is at least 100% compatible with your laptop. Attached is the connection of the ram, I want to buy:

It would be pointless to buy this ram then if the laptop detects me!

    Please help me!

    Thank you very much!

It is reassuring to have confirmation from an expert.
I immediately contact the manufacturer for more information on their products that I'm about to buy.
However, the price is almost the same, because I come from Italy.

A hot day and I thank you once again.

  • Tecra Z40 - A - the upgrade (RAM RAM)

    Hi all

Ordered little RAM to upgrade my Toshiba Tecra Z40 - A, but can not find, for the life of me, anything where you want to insert online.

I previously installed RAM under the keyboard (couple of clips holding it) and on the other, a small cover on the bottom, but the Z40 does not appear to be anywhere easily accessible.

Has anyone upgraded RAM on the Z40? Or is it a big no, no, because of the guarantee?

    Thank you
    Lance

Memory upgrade on this model Tecra is a bit complicated and, in my view, should not be done by the owner of the laptop. For some models of Ram upgrade can be done by the owner of the laptop and exact instructions how do proposed in document s user manuals, but not for your Tecra.

For full access to the RAM modules lower lid should be removed and it can be done by people of service only. If you do this alone you can void the warranty valid.
I recommend you contact the nearest Toshiba service provider in your country and ask for help or advice.
