  I don't know enough about the registry commands to know if this is normal or not - just realised that they were different.

  I don't have the time to play with it and won't take the risk of messing things up.  I probably do not use the Organizer a lot anyway.  I was wondering what other features I find missing.

  The search for these forums, it seems that this error lasts for a few generations of product and is unusual.  I hope that Adobe puts some resources and efforts to fix this bug.

Adobe support Advisor indicated that my problem can occur if a newer version of the Flash Player has been installed.   Usually, a step that helps is to navigate to the folder shared technologies ElementsST1Installer (ST1 means Shared technologies 1) in the installation disc.

  If you have downloaded the software, you'll find it all in the extracted installation folder.

  First run the entire file in the folder Shared Technologies, and then reinstall the software.

  Resolved using CHAT with an agent.  Souloumiac was excellent.

  At issue:

  Navigate the DVD, open the PES 12 folder (if you download then it should be in the folder of Photoshop Elements).

  The ElementsSTIInstaller to install it then running

  NAVIGATE to "C/Program file (X 86) /Common leader/Adobe /.

  RENAME the OOBE folder as oldOOBE.

  FORCE DVD

  It is now installed.

  Hi, I bought a Wacom Intuos and it came with the software provided. Download of Photoshop kept in check the end (1000 MB + off 1012 mb!) and then when he finally said he had successfully downloaded, I get this error message when you try to extract the contents of the folder:

  Do you by chance have any Comodo product installed on your PC? I found a few sites that have it, but they are for Comodo.
