  What you see is the tool options palette.

  The interface has been changed from 11 items on.

  It seems logical to view options when a new tool is selected. If you don't want to, look at the upper right of the tool options palette. You can open a menu in which you remove the check mark in the box to automatically display the tools/options.

  When you're accustomed to older versions of elements, it is a good idea to read the section on areas of work and the environment, in particular on the bins.

• subscription for 1 year at CC for Lightroom5 and Photoshop is in trial mode and now told to buy, despite my account saying that it will expire November 2015

  The title pretty much sums up it.

  Exactly a month ago, I bought the subscription for 1 year for the CC for photography and now the Lightroom5 and photoshop have been crippled / off telling me to buy to continue to use it, although I already bought them, and when I connect to my account, it says they will expire November 2015

  I went though a certain process, but seem to have gotten it works now.  That's what I did.

  1. uninstall all creative cloud software, deleted LR5 (as the option Uninstall is greyed out), disconnected from creative cloud, then uninstalled

  2 uninstall all software, including Acrobat, AIR, Shockwave, Adobe application manager

  3. run CC Cleaner made by Piriform and insured has deleted any reference to Adobe, including all the Cache, passwords, etc.

  4 restarted

  5. open the HOSTS file and deleted everything that said Adobe in there and saved.

  6 restarted

  7. open Finder (similar to windows Explorer) to ~/Library/ anything and everything with Adobe sought at home, as well as preference files and deleted the lot.

  8. went into the Keyring Manager and delete all that had nothing to do with Adobe or mentioned Lightroom or Photoshop

  9 went to www.adobe.com and sought the Cloud creative application and downloaded first manually

  10 installed creative cloud and connected to my login Apple ID and password, he then invited me I needed Adobe Application Manager, which I installed it and it then put me in for Lightroom trial mode

  11 installed 5 Lightroom via the application, downloaded, then returned to the Mode of trial (30 days).  Downloaded Photoshop CC and it worked fine.

  12. disconnected via photoshop which seemed to work very well and warned of Lightroom and Photoshop wouldn't be able to be used if I quit the game.

  13 deleted 5 Lightroom again by dragging the .app into the trash and clean up the trash

  14 Ran CC Cleaner a second time and CleanMyMac2 for good measure to ensure every vestige of Lightroom disappeared

  15. connected in creative cloud with my Adobe ID and the password

  16. you click on install for Lightroom (which had changed to purchase or trial, as he had always done before and this time it installed without reference to expiry or trial.)

  and activate it with your serial number.

  If you have a problem dl'g, you don't follow all 7 steps.  the most common mistake is not meticulously follow the steps 1, 2, and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system, allowing you to download the correct version of the adobe.com site).

• Enlarge/Zoom missing in Photoshop elements 8 Organizer mode full screen?

  Am I missing something or the abilty to enlarge a photo has been abandoned since the mode full-screen Organizer in Photoshop Elements 8?

  If so, it is a serious regression. This means that you cannot zoom the image enough to review the quality of several photos of the same subject. The only alternative is to switch mode complete edition which takes a lot of time if you have a large number of photos.

  Someone at - he found a way around this?

  After days of hard work and after many attempts on the Adobe troubleshooting, I realized that the problem through the functions of Mac OS X-Squared (XProtect process).   I don't understand why Adobe left this obsolete "Flash Player.bundled" Photoshop plug-in elements 11 or 10! In fact, the PSE11, does not use the plugin "Flash Player.bundle" , but it uses "AdobeSWFL.bundle", appearing in "/ System_Disk/Library/Application Support/Adobe/APE/3.101/adbeapecore.framework/Versions/A/Resources/". The fact that maybe Adobe don't know, maybe, the existence of a black list of Mac OS X that blocks the plugin Flash Player prior to version 11.3.300.271? ... Is it really useful to install that plugin so obsolete (for Mac OS X 10.4 - 10.5) PSE11 works from version 10.6 "Snow Leopard" go?

  The Flash Player plugin installed by PSE11 is the old "10.1.82.73" version that you can read in this info.plist file (or in my screenshot attached here) and I think if you use Mac OS X Lion or Mountain Lion you can remove it because, as we read in his "Info.plist" file, the plugin is only for Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5...

  A hypothesis about the occasional occur any question about the "Guided" mode or "Home screen" does not is that PSE11, at startup, a "program call" old-fashioned "Flash Player" plugin installed by PSE11 and PSE10 and the system, peraphs, intercept the call through 'xprotect"process that runs in the background. Thus, Mac OS X blocks the function of PSE11 based on Flash Player as, indeed, the 'Welcome' screen and "Guided" editing function

  S or the problem lies in a starting behavior of PSE that it because of old permissions ACL in the record of the House(because belong to the previous Mac OS X version 10.5 - 10.6). PSE think of having to start the old containded plugin Flash Player in EPAS. This would explain why the PES works well and "guided" PSE mode works if create a new startup account!

  Note! Disk utility does not, correct permission ACL in house by default,! Adobe, then, rather than suggest to create new accounts... must fix PES by deleting any reference to the old Player Flash plugin. otherwise, there is always the risk that Mac OS X prevents proper operation.

  I tried to rename or remove this plug-in and PSE11 still works well, but for the pedantry, I preferred this solution:

  -J' installed the latest version of Flash Player from the Adobe site.

  -J' opened the package to "/ Library / Internet Plug-Ins/Flash of----------------Player.plugin/Contents/PlugIns/FlashPlayer-10.6.plugin/Contents / '.

  -J' copied the four objects (MacOS folder resources and files: file info.plist, version.plist, and)

  and

  stuck in ' Adobe/APE/3.101/adbeapecore.framework/Versions/A/Resources/Flash Player.plugin / summary / "overwhelming existing.

  I have a doubt over left: I have not yet activated the iCloud for Photo Streaming and iTunes sync option to Match; This functionality has been enabled in my old account when PSE did not work... I hope PSE11 works well, even when I activate these features to synchronize with my Apple accounts...

• Photoshop CS5: border mode full screen

  When I enter the mode full screen in Photoshop, there is a border around the screen. This does not happen in Photoshop CS4 or even mode full-screen Bridge CS5.

  This is a problem. Anyone else having this problem? (Toshiba A205 - S5843/1.73 Ghz dual core, 2 MB of ram, Windows 7 Home Edition.)

  

  Looking at my screen a little more closely, I have the same thing that show you. It is very light and not too pronounced that what you are. I know that it bothers you to see. But do not let other people trying to tell you what is improtant or not important, happen to you. I almost never use full screen in any case this isn't a problem for me.

  So for the boundary sum things there just is very low on my system. My laptop has an i720qm, 8 GB of RAM and an ATI 5870vwith driver 10.4 together. I did not load test CS5 on my main bench upstairs so I can't help you on that.

  My feeling is that it is a thing of Vista/Windows 7 AERO.

  (2) you get an error code?

  Just to confirm, you get this error: this version of Photoshop Elements requires MS Internet Explorer 4.0 or later version must be installed?

  Windows 8 comes with Internet Explorer Version 10.

• Photoshop 7 is compatible with Windows 10?

  I have Photoshop 7, running on Windows XP SP3 and it works fine, so I need to have newer versions.  I have a new PC running Windows 10, so may 7 PS work under it? probably not, so maybe I need to run in a virtual machine running Windows XP.  I understand that it might be preferable to run CS2 that may be available to download for free, if I can provide the product key for 7 PS.  Please notify.

  Photoshop 7 here works on windows 10 is x 64 without using compatibility modes, in fact much better than photoshop cs2.

  The only big problem, is you must have 1 TB or less free space on your hard drive or photoshop 7 will not work.

  Versions of Photoshop earlier than photoshop cs could not see large drives with more than 1 TB of free space.

  I am under creative cloud behind a Proxy Cisco & Webfilter. I welcomed all Web sites through the webfilter with no scanning. It just keeps telling me that Photoshop is in trial mode, so I deleted the licenses of caching. And now I can sign in. It takes about 4-5 minutes to explode, then I said at trial, then I click on "software license", and he think for another 5 minutes and then told me that I don't have a subscription.   Hi conanny,

  This is because of different pieces, if you open all the pictures but that is 8 bits, then all filters works very well, if the image in 16 bits then the filters would be gray-out.

  You can check the bits and change to 8-bit.
