Photosmart Essential 3.5... No Internet connection

After a successful year of 3.5 must use to publish albums and order prints via Snapfish, I now have No Internet Connection message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times 3.5. I was online chat with HP and still have the same msg.  HP was not able to solve the problem. I chatted online with Snapfish and the end result of this cat, Snapfish was told to download it from their site vs. 3.5.  FYI... When I click on the album to publish in 3.5 button, I get the msg publish on Snapfish, etc., however, the Internet of No connection appears shortly after.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to why I got the msg or how I can fix it?

Since my original post of the 'no Internet connection using the Photosmart Essential 3.4"I can say that I have more the problem because (like another before me posted) I bought the Canon SX120IS and life is good. The problem never solved and after spending too much time trying to find a solution, I decided to... And it is indeed a great shot!

  • Photosmart 7520 disconnects internet connection

I recently bought a 7520 Photosmart all-in-one which is connected to my home wireless.  It works great except for one very annoying thing.  If I print something, leave the printer on and walk, when I come back a moment later my Mac has disconnected from the Internet.  So, I have to restart my Mac in order to regain access.  I can work around this problem by turning off the printer when I am printing but this means I put on whenever I want to print something - and then it goes through its start procedure which, I think, is not good for the camera.  As the printer is located next to my Mac, I would be very happy to simply connect via a USB port, but I was not able to understand how he transition out of my wifi to an old fashioned wire connections.  Otherwise, I'm also happy to use the Wi - Fi connection, if I can leave the printer on without disturbing my global system.

    Hi @carmeljacques2

    I'd be happy to help you maintain your internet connection. If you just want to connect the USB cable, proceed as follows;

    Reset the printing system

    1. Click on the Apple icon ( ), then click on System Preferences.

  • When Photosmart C6380 connects to the router Netgear WNDR3400, internet connection lost.

Using HP Photosmart C6380 wireless connection to a Netgear WNDR3400v2 router.  When the printer is on, all devices of lose the internet connection, but can be crazy.  Network WPA2 authentication. the printer shows WPA authentication configuration page so maybe that's the problem.  How can I keep my internet access while the printer is connected to the network?

FRST, make sure that your router has the latest firmware.

Let's define an IP address static and exeternal DNS of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') 250
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS. It's Google DNS. You can choose a different external DNS if you wish.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

Photosmart seems to crash when you connect when the library is set to import a directory containing a bunch of photos in it or its subfolders. (When you're not connected is not a problem). I disconnected from the internet to stop the shot. And I got rid of the association in this photo directory. In my case, the large photo directory was on a network drive that physically resides on one of my other PC. I don't know if it is a factor or not. Because when I disconnected my DSL cable of the my PC it disconnect me also to my network drive. But photosmart responded almost instantly.

After that photosmart returns, go to 'Settings' and click on the "photo library" category option and then select the 'folder '. You should see a list of directories for your PC. Deselect the directories with lots of photos and revisit what you want photosmart to import, or how you want to organize your photos. I have not experienced with why photosmart will not play nice. Looks like a bug. At the very least, it should ask the user if they want to continue with all he's trying to do, rather than hang them it senseless. And HP should ensure that they test each version with a large number of photos as well as with a network drive.

This isn't a solution, and I am not associated with HP. I don't know if I'll use photosmart in the future to organize my photos, because no other product didn't gave me this problem. Perhaps HP or someone in this forum will be research of this question a little further and debug the problem.

  • Satellite L450D - 11G - no internet connection after reinstalling Win 7

I just installed win 7 pro 64-bit so I can increase the RAM up.
Initially I had win 7 Home premium SP1.

    I have a Toshiba satellite L450D - 11G PSLY5E.
I downloaded all the drivers from Toshiba on a memory stick from a source different and then installed on the Toshiba.

Then, I opened all the drivers one by one and ran each driver individually.
In Device manager there is a yellow exclamation next to the network controller.

I have a home network setup that I can connect to the net using phones, tablets and other portable computers.
The icon on the laptop says NO CONNECTION, NOT of CONNECTIONS AVAILABLE.

Y at - it a special order to install the drivers. I have install in the order in which they were downloaded.

    Any ideas anyone. TA

In Device manager there is a yellow exclamation next to the network controller.

Probably the essential WLan/LAN drivers are not installed properly.
Do you have problems with the internet connection using WLAN and LAN?

I recommend you to check if the correct drivers have been installed.

The wireless network card should be Realtek RTL8191SE 802.11bgn

Built in LAN module is published also by Realtek...

so in both cases you need a Realtek drivers

  • Problem to create the Internet connection sharing between Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Original title: Internet connection sharing between Windows XP and Windows Vista.

    Hello

Recently, I plugged a laptop running Windows XP to a desktop computer running Windows Vista using a standard Ethernet cable with the intention of use sharing of Internet connection. The notebook contains a wireless connection that I've routed to the office via the cable said.  While the initial phase of installation went well (I was too lazy to do it manually, so I just used the Wizard "Set up a home or small business network" Windows XP,) I had to turn off the host computer to install a program. When I tried to set up ICS again, I couldn't connect to the Internet by using ICS. After this failure, I tried to configure the properties of TC/IPv4 (IP, gateway by default, etc.) manually, but I still couldn't run.  I am able to access the shared host PC and client files. It seems to me that some service essential to the proper functioning of the ICS may be disabled in some way, but it's just speculation, as I have no evidence of such a service. Help would be most appreciated.

    Thank you

    FG-man

I tried this before using a laptop to share internet with my 360.  problem is there was Nat on the router, and it is in contradiction with the ics.

Anyway long story short I did some research on the Internet and discovered that if you're behind a router ICS will be confllict with her, as ICS also does routing. a much better option is to "bridge the conections ' on the laptop.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/hnw_bridge_install.mspx?mfr=true

If you go this route, you need to set a static ip address for the office,

Either that or if you want to continue using ICS put the laptop in the DMZ in the router may help, but it will be less secure.

Hope that this helped good luck

  • Indicator signal a1 Tablet WiFi stopped turning green when connected - good internet connection

My WiFi signal strength indicator A1 Tablet has just stopped turning green when he has an internet connection and WiFi. I can't find any discussion on a problem like this. The problem appeared after that I did a boot into recovery (hold "volume" while turning on Tablet) to fix a touch screen calibration problem that had developed recently. I guess it is not essential to have the signal strength indicator works perfectly, but it would be nice. Someone at - it experience with this issue?

If I am not mistaken, this means that your A1 is not synchronized with your Google account.

Try logging in the game store. That could convince the A1 to connect.

If the problem persists, you can remove the ' storage "(fait dans les paramètres > apps > tout);"» Calendar, Contacts, and electronic mail. Then restart and re-add your Google account. Who should start your A1 resynchronize.

Note that everything you have added to the calendar, Contacts, or e-mail that was not synchronized will be gone. But all that has been synchronized with your Gmail account will return once the synchronization is complete.

  • Router WRT54G3G-ST - no internet connection - cannot reset the router

Hello.  Some longer story certainly not short (I apologize for the length of hiking...  I don't know what is and isn't important, will scan, please...  I'm sorry...) : recently my computer (Dell XPS 400, Windows XP Service Pack 3, Internet Explorer 7 with phishing filter and pop-up blocker on, SiteAdvisor, up-to-date McAfee Anti-virus and Firewall and a router Wireless-G Linksys WRT54G3G-ST with its AC adapter plugged into the wall power outlet and a network cable directly connected to my computer.) received a drive-by generic.DX!12536d125737 Trojan horse without me download whatever it is one of the few sites I visit every day.  My internet connection has crawled, and I have now no connection at all.

I've been making McAfee good volunteers forums help quick and very helpful...  They recommended Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for me, I downloaded my own second computer (a laptop) on my flash drive, then on my infected computer.  I ran, tried adapting so recommended, and only then discovered the Trojan horse killed my broadband entirely.  I scanned with it anyway and he quickly found and deleted / quarantine 11 Adware.MyWebSearch related files, but nothing else.  Then, they gave me a link to a patch off updater file and tells me scan in SafeMode until nothing else has been found and check if it has fixed my lack of broadband access.  I did, Malwarebytes found nothing else, but unfortunately I still had no broadband.

Then, they recommended WinsockXPFix.  Which I ran and he did all his OK registry changes, I restarted if necessary but still no broadband unfortunately.  WinsockXPFix using make things worse for me with the registry changes, did he?  I used the backup of the registry to save the registry before changed files before running.  Should I come back since I don't always have a broadband connection?  McAfee volunteers kindly then told me that I had to hard reset the router, but I tried many times with no fortune.  I'm at a loss as to what, if anything, do we hope to get my broadband, please...

It is very confusing with many different variants for resetting routers, and what should I do to my router model (Variations: unplug this cable/adapter exactly where; pressed the reset button between 5 and 30 seconds, the computer restarts, or no, 1 or 2 minutes between different steps, waiting or not - and for all these exactly when in the restart procedure.).

I have reset once before with the reset button, page of routers to http://192.168.1.1default admin password, then it changed to security, etc. but this time I can't make it work.  I'm happy as possible to try once again to get an appointment by perhaps, something please...  When I go to http://192.168.1.1 now, or to any other address, Internet Explorer gripes at me that I am offline, which is annoyingly correct.  I do not have and never had Zone Alarm, but disable my McAfee Firewall does not help.  IPCONFIG at the command prompt gives me an address of 169.254.X.X assigned Windows

I was going to use the routers Wizard installation CD to try to reset the router, and if that didn't try to get its firmware version number to perhaps upgrade.  But I was going to ask here first of all for expert advice because I read a lot of things that can go wrong during the upgrade of the firmware.  However, analysis the CD (without launching the CD). McAfee found the virus W32/HLLP. Philis.ini in the file "D:\_desktop.ini" on the CD.  McAfee didn't delete the file, I don't know why.
I scanned my computer together several times and no infections have been reported.  I downloaded the file several times, both www.virustotal.com (39 online antivirus) and virusscan.jotti.org (20 online virus scanners) and every time each virus scanner didn't report any possible infection.  My updated virus scanner McAfee reported a false positive and still Jotti and VirusTotal 2 scanners from McAfee report the file as own probable?  Is "_desktop.ini" a file legitimate Linksys?  I have not found any information on Linksys forums about this.  My problems just keep multiplying... mentioning problems more...

Find this suspicious file on the CD I decided to download instead the Linksys Setup Wizard
    (Router product page: http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support/WRT54G3G-ST/download )
    File: http://downloads.linksysbycisco.com/downloads/WRT54G3G-ST_SetupWizard_4_2_06042008.zip)
my flash drive, then on my infected computer that is connected to the router.  I ran it (downloaded the version of the file: 4.2.0.007 - original version CD Setup Wizard: 4.0 print on CD front) and immediately gave it 1 of the 3 options: Mobile broad band only, high flow only WAN, or WAN high throughput and high speed Mobile.  I don't know what damage, if any, I caused by continuing.
It seemed that he was trying to go in the entire router configuration process.  I thought it would take me to some options to reset the router, as I read in the user's Guide, and besides - it is my understanding.  The installation process stopped at only 30% done "router not found, make sure that the router is connected correctly and try again."  How many Overwrite original router configuration files I did continue?  I'm quite confused.  The wizard does not check if the router has previously been set up before setting up again?  Unlike version caused my router to not be detected by the Setup Wizard?  Is the horse of Troy generic.DX!12536d125737 who killed my trash to wide band my computer settings so badly that my router is undetectable/essentially not configured?

Update of sorts: I tried one last time to reset the router, and I unplugged/plugged the network cable.  The fact that I had still no broadband on my Dell XPS main use computer that is connected to the Linksys router.  However, my laptop, with map data in the router, was for the first time able to find network - constant connection and speed is great, it's what she allways has been on the laptop (the Trojan/router problems, my laptop only for broadband with the data in the laptop card.).  Perhaps the cable network was simply not re-connected properly/entirely for 1 of the many attempts of resetting, indeed, it could also explain the downloading, installation wizard is not able to find the router/only get 30% done.

Laptop prompt IPCONFIG/all with data card Sprint inserted into the slot of your laptop:
    IP = 174.158.XX.XXX (Sprint)
    Subnet mask = 255.255.255.255
    68.28.90.91 = DNS servers
    68.28.82.91

Laptop prompt IPCONFIG/all with Sprint data card inserted in the router:
    192.168.1.1XX = IP address
    Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
    Default gateway = 192.168.1.1
    = 192.168.1.1 DHCP server
    Servers DNS = 192.168.1.1

Since my laptop started to work with the data card into the router, I have not tried again to reset the router and I tried the downloaded installation wizard.  I don't want to spoil anything about it any further as I have (?) / the Trojan has, and I need expert advice, please, about which of the 2 if not more, I do (first?).  On my laptop, typing http://192.168.1.1 in Internet Explorer Gets the ToolTip for the user name and password, but I did not.  I read that you should not reset the router or (?) Is it just 1 or two please?) upgrade the firmware unless the computer is connected directly to the router - that is not my laptop.  On my other computer that still has no broadband, Internet Explorer still says I am offline when you type http://192.168.1.1 in.  My IP address on it is still a 169.254.X.X assigned Windows and a command PING 192.168.1.1 prompt returns with 'Destination host unreachable.', as it has been always and even with all the other addresses (with the exception of 169.254.X.X).

Boring 2nd "update" of all kinds, my apologies for the length, as always: I've been so focused on the horse of Trojan/broadband killing that cluelessly largely forgot I switched with AOL.  Try AOL dial-up does not work, madness thickens...  Software AOL tells me to check my connection, but all the phone cords are connected as should be.  I plugged a phone directly into the wall jack and I get the tone, I can call OK and the phone rings and receives calls OK.  State of the devices-Modems-Properties-Device Manager says that the modem is not working properly, and "resources" tab shows no conflicts.  Query Modem on the diagnosis tab seems OK to me, as does the journal, but I'm certainly not an expert like allways.  I change all the settings from anywhere.
I noticed and that check IPCONFIG it says that my IP address is 192.168.1.100 it lasts maybe that someday (then goes back to 169.254.X.X), maybe more, I don't know - I don't check that often to define (should I?).  Meanwhile my broadband, or my works switched.  I can PING 192.168.1.100, but nothing else.  I am convinced the wrong killed Trojan horse my broadband and dial-up - I've never had a problem with my prior V.9x DFVc Modem 56 K Conexant D850.  In addition, I am not convinced the Trojan horse is not still lurk everywhere on my computer, I think that it's...

Any help with the restoration of my high speed/dial-up is greatly appreciated, please...  Thank you!

Hello.  There has been entirely too long since I answered, I'm sorry.  There is no excuse, and it is terribly rude to me...  You took the time to read and answer me, and I appreciate very much that in effect.  I apologize for being late, I'm sorry...

After that I left my message, I downloaded several virus/spyware scanners, etc from my laptop on my USB key, then my other computer for some in-depth analysis necessary.  Was one I downloaded Network Magic that somehow, some way fixed both my high speed/dial-up internet on my main computer is connected to the router WRT54G3G-ST.  I don't know what/how he fixed my connection, but the connection high speed flow works brilliantly since...  Network Magic has worked for me, and I highly recommend it to all those who have stubborn lack of internet problems (caused by Trojans to this) that I did.  There is no guarantee this will work, but it did for me in my amazement.

Network Magic, as is the Linksys is owned by the parent company Cisco.  Respectfully to all the knowledgeable experts here (which clearly I'm not), I don't want to venture out of the limits.  I'm trying to simply hope to be useful and save a few headaches for both you volunteers and users... buy a new router or the computer was in my mind, with all due respect, I recommend suggesting to try Network Magic users if the reset of the router/all other fails, please.  I used WinsockXPFix/WinsockFix utility before using Network Magic, I don't know if it matters.

I also upgraded my package of McAfee, I installed on my old software rather than uninstall the first, which caused errors in all things virus scanner a critical need.  I install right now, but it caused some delay to refocus my time.  Some virus scans found many Trojan horses, some were same / in the same folders that killed my broadband - which stopped me in my tracks to ensure a clean uninfected.

Certainly, it doesn't fully explain the long time, and I'm sorry, once again.  It's just that I'm being cautious and slow in all this.  To answer the first very good idea, you did: Unfortunately, there is no room on my other computer to connect the router in to, which even so caused frustration (at the time).  I forgot to include this in my post new length of countless things to see / do not forget...  It was a brilliant idea, however, I thank you...

Thank you for your time and your help, I appreciate it sincerely...  Thank you...  I think and hope that this matter is resolved.  It seems to be, the router works perfectly as it always has, and I am positively happy as can be in this regard.  Thank you...  Peace...

  • scanner says no internet connectivity

    Photosmart 7520 series aio

    on windows 7 64 bit

connected to a wireless network at home. Everything seems to work fine, but tried to scan document to attach to email. message said no internet connectivity. printer works from pc and laptop. Fax works fine.

    sanmar02,

    Try the following steps.

I would first disconnect the router and the printer for about 1 minute. I would plug the router first then the printer. I would then try to access the scan for new email app. If not successful, and you get the same error message. I'd follow these steps.

1 obtain the IP address of your printer

    a. This can be done by pressing the icon on the printer wireless.

    2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.

    3. Select the tab network at the top of the page.

    4. on the left, select network.

    5. Select Network (IP) address

    6. select manual DNS server

    a. manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8

    b. alternate DNS server should read. 8.8.4.4

    7. Select apply you could get a fair warning select OK.

Let me know how it goes.

  • I can't access what whether the internet associated with such sites as Web and other programs which require an internet connection.

    Original title: Weird problem.

My computer says it is connected to the network and the network is connected to the internet, but I can't access what whether the internet associated with such sites as Web and other programs which require an internet connection. I have reset the router and the computer many times and the problem is still there. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Very strange that this issue has been raised suddenly and even system restore back the working time is not solve it.  At this point, I suspect something mischievous because restoration of return must be a guaranteed fix.  If it worked on Friday, it should work if restore you backup on Friday.

I ask you to check if your network card has got an update which could have features broke, but that can't be the problem because the restoration of return would be handed over the old version.

Indeed, using restore in a working time essentially says that this isn't a configuration problem, because configuration is in a known-to-be-working state (because he worked at the restored time).

I would therefore start at this stage, verification of hardware, antenna, connections, equipment devices.

  • questions of google chrome windows 7 PC internet connection tech support

So basically for now, I need some serious tech support. I knew enough to power a computer for regular use, but now I need to know a little more.

I'm working on a pretty nice software that probably has not been treated well for about a month so its starting to develop some small bugs. I intend to use this laptop for more things in general so it needs work better.
I ran some scans norton (but my norton is literally about to expire so I need something safe for my computer out of Cnet maybe? it's free)
I ran a quick defrag and I have Ccleaner and know what it does, so I ran too. I have not just be completely shut down the computer, I don't even have a back upward in car big enough for my computer or anywhere to put it if I had a. Im doing the laptop on the lap a lot which means no doubt that fans do not get enough air.
There is a laptop stand that had fans, but fans broke and its just bulky right now so I'm just trying to protect the screen and not get any fluid on the keyboard. Also, there is just no office about so its that or directly on a mattress that is worse.
(Also I keep multitasking for many, even for an upscaled laptop with windows 7 and the changes to make it work well.) His breaking our internet connection wifi is not totally reliable here and all I can do, is disconnect the boxes and wait but its such a nuisance that I can't do it too)
Any help you can offer would be great!

    Hello
