Photosmart Premium w / Web doesn't have a loop of update

Just bought the latest HP Photosmart Premium with Touchsmart Web of OfficeMax and am having some problems.  I ran through everything and I'm out of ideas.

The printer can get online via the installed applications and whatnot, but given that I bought the screen, I thought it was an original model and must be updated.  I came to update and it gets to 99% on the 1 of 3 update and he said: it has an error message and I am to START or OK.  If I hit ok I'll be back to the normal screen.  If I hit retry off the printer powers, powers, begins to download it again, is at 99% on 1 of 3 and fails.  Rinse, lather, repeat.  I ran the latest site software HP Web, network diagnostic tool and a lot of uninstalling/reinstalling.

I found this thread "resolved" (http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/ePrint-Print-Apps-Mobile/GET-MORE-App-on-a-C309n-Hp-Photosmart-Premium-...), which has solved the problem, but ignored the larger problem of the thread.

Just wondering what I can do since I can't really take this back.  It doesn't print, but if I can't use the Web why I pay extra for this impressive machine HP?

Wow.  Awesome HP support.

-Called and had the time of the race. "Try resetting it" "Try to update again" "try resetting it ' ' Run this configuration tool '"Try the update again' 'try to reset this new"rinse foam repetition wasting my time

SOLUTION: I spent 6 days to try to download the update whenever I was around the machine.  Finally, there is a moment he sounded.  Shocked, I went to the machine to make sure I wasn't having auditory hallucinations, but I get a message saying now no new updates available.

My advice to all the world that may have this problem: just made clear a few days out of your schedule and do not say this thing to update.  Finally, you will break his spirits and he will succumb to do this work.

  • Lost my printer Photosmart Premium C310 Web services

    My printer worked perfectly with my PC, iPad and for printing via the web for 8 months until a couple of weeks since when, after downloading an upgrade of the software it only works with the PC on my home network.

    A previous post caused some advice very complicated HP about changing IP addresses that I followed to the best of my ability (as a user of ordinary consumption), but nothing works.

    I have reset the printer to factory settings, but it has not yet resolved the problem.  When I try to restart the web services, I receive a message saying "problem connecting to the web services server.

    I'd appreciate a few simple and effective tips that I just bought this thing for web/e-print services.

    Thank you

  • Photosmart 8450: "Device Setup doesn't have all the.

    HP dear Forum and Support:

    My HP Photosmart 8450 fails to install on my Dell laptop. Help, please.

    I have a Dell Inspiron 640 m laptop computer with Windows XP. I got the printer installed fine, but then I caught a bad virus had to restore my laptop back to the factory settings and then installed Norton Antivirus.

    First, I downloaded the Driver on the HP site and connected the driver software Installation the file downloaded.

    Then, during Installation, the Installation Wizard told me to connect my printer to the USB Port of my computer, I did.

    Then, after a few minutes, the installation wizard told me that "Device Setup has not finished.'

    Then I tried whole, this time connect my device to a different USB Port in my laptop with the same failed result. In addition, no a HP printer icon appears in the list of printers in my control panel.

    A cause as possible, I can imagine would be if I have Norton Antivirus and Antivirus is blocked somehow, but I highly doubt this possibility, because then it would be a common problem with many users, like HP and Norton products are very common.

    P.S. happy holidays.

    OK, I gave you a thumbs up.

    Here's what worked for me:

    I uninstalled the printer from the "Programs" section in my control panel. Then I reinstalled the printer driver. When I did, I have connected my USB pritner when the installation wizard asked. As was happening, he said that the printer has been detected and this may take a few minutes.

    Meanwhile, a message apparently not HP-software popped up because of my operating system, that says hardware is automatically detected by my computer laptop and installed automatically and give me the choice to make my default printer. Of course, rather than interfere with the HP Installation Wizard, I've just left him intact.

    A few minutes later, I got the same old "Not completed" message in my installation wizard. Then I clicked on the operating system pop-up message and told to do my Pritner by default.

    I think that the installation wizard might at this time asked to click Next in the installation wizard, and if that were the case, then I didn't click it. But in any case the next thing the wizard said was that the device had been installed successfully.

    So it's a combination of things that led to the unit being installed successfully.

  • Win Mail doesn't have a loop of recovery

    Vista - updated w/Win Mail 6.0.6001.180000.
    Somehow my email DB has been updated with evil. Win Mail attempted to recover - not successful.
    Each launch Win mail is also launching a salvage attempt.
    Several folders are displayed - all empty and the first 2 two messages in any folder, new messages are placed have deleted content.
    Ran WinUtil 15, all the options.
    What to do next?
    Thank you
    Joe B

    What you have to do is to erase the messages database and try again.  The best way to do this is to go to the mail C:\users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows and rename the directory (note that the files are hidden and you must enable the display of the hidden files and folders).  Then create a new directory with the same name, so that it is empty.  Then you can start WinMail and add your accounts and when it works fine, then you can create new folders in WinMail and drag the eml files starting from the older file directories and drop their above the message list for the folder to incorporate Winmail.

    See if that fixes it.

  • Doesn't have installation of Vista updates. He continues to try set up the third update with 0% completion and then it turns off and start again from the beginning. Keep in the loop... Help! There is no error message.

    As above. He is not in windows more simply the third update installation and then turns off computer and restart new since the beginning. Tried running safe mode but without success

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
  • Impossible to print a Web page using photosmart premium c309a using Internet Explorer 9.
    I just installed Internet Explorer 9. Now, I can't print a Web page using my network photosmart premium c309a. I also have a Photosmart c6250 networked and I peut print for her. What gives? Am I missing something? I know that this is a known problem by searching the problem and Windows solution does not help.  I have no problem with the c309a print when I go to the internet, it's just a problem of Web page with IE9.  All/any help would be appreciated.
    HP helped me by making me install a different driver. Download and install the printer driver 6980. After installation, go to the printer properties and add a new Standard TCP/IP port and use IP address for the c309a.  I don't think I'm missing something, but I received the information from their chat support.  Then, when you want to print from IE9, choose the 6980 printer (which is actually the c309a printer).  This HP support doesn't help.  You must talk to a living person who knows something about printers.
    I hope this helps.  In fact, I switched to Mozilla Firefox as my default long ago, and it works very well with the c309a printer.  I only got this solution because I could be chatting with them on another printer and I mentioned that I could not print from IE9.
  • HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m connection cavity problem
    Hello
    I bought a HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m today and have successful connected to my Wireless N network.  My problem is that every time that I reboot the printer there connect lasts for about 30 seconds and then gets BOUNCING and then stops responding all together.  It is repeatable, and happens whenever I have restart the printer.  All other nodes on my network will continue to work perfectly, so I don't think it's my router that is at fault or one of my computers that I can reproduce this problem since.
    As you can guess it is really frustrating having a printer that works wirelessly for 30 seconds and then stops.  The printer itself shows a very good wireless signal all the time so I don't understand what the problem is.  Any help would be appreciated, because I rather like this printer and don't want to shop for something else.
    Brian
    The Linksys WRT600N is a wireless router simultaneous dual-band 802.11n.  There are a number of things to try:
    1. Please check that the width of the channel setting and 2.4 GHz band is fixed to 20 MHz only (you can still use the 5 GHz for customers of 40 MHz band).
    2. Make sure that you are not running in 802.11n mode only (it is not well defined by the IEEE 802.11n standard).
    3. If you're still having problems, open the printer's internal web page by accessing its IP address.  Select network, then wireless (802.11), and then advanced.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page and check the setting for in an infrastructure network use 802. 11 b / g behavior.  Press on apply.
  • I did not have enough room to update so I'm stuck in a loop of update
    I have a computer but I have a hard drive that is too small, after shutting down my computer down it wanted to update, but the hard drive doesn't have enough space to update. Is it possible for me to say to the computer I want to update?
    Thank you
    What is the size of the disk hard that is installed on Windows 8?
    If you do not have enough space, you will have to try to create some:
    -Uninstall the older programs.
    -Archiving of files, photos, videos on an external hard drive.
    -Remove the old system restore points and reduce the amount of space drive, that system restore uses
    Press the Windows key + X
    Click System
    Click on advanced system settings
    Click on the System Protection
    Click on configure
    Under disk space use, slide the button to reduce the amount of space used by system restore
    - Clean the disc run
  • Have Photosmart Premium C310a. Ongoing problem to the loss of communication with the printer
    I have a HP Photosmart Premium 310 Ca and am running Windows XP.  About every month my computer loses contact with the printer.  The network works fine as is my email.  I tried restarting the computer, reset my router and the Setup error following to get instructions from XP. I tried to reinstall, and I can't seem to install.  I'm tired of this!
    I'm sorry that you are having this problem. There are several steps you can take to help your connection problem. First of all, when the printer is connected to your network, print a Network Setup page. On this page, use the ip address of the printer and that type in the address bar of your internet browser on your computer. Will take you to the server of the web integrated printer (EWS). Look for the Networking tab change the automatic ip addressing to public static ip (manual). You will then enter the ip address of the printer, followed by the subnet mask, and finally the default gateway, the info that will be on the Network Setup page you printed. Below, you'll assign 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as the primary and secondary DNS. Who should manage the intermittent connection loss problems. With automatic addressing, the printer can request a new address whenever there is a network problem, which confuses the printer. Static IP or manual addressing, is tackling this problem. Let me know if it helps.
  • Firmware update to enable my Photosmart Premium have the ePrint feature?
    Printer: HP Photosmart Premium C309a
    Just a matter of curiosity... y at - it an update of firmware available to give my C309a the ePrint feature?  It 'looks like' the last version except mine is white and the ePrint version is black!   Seriously, they are essentially the same machine with different firmware?
    If it helps my cause... I am a current employee of HP...
    Thank you!
    David Fox
    The C309a printer is a good printer but there is no update to use the ePrint feature, all it has the ability to do so is web apps. But if you are trying to print from a phone, you can search the HP ePrint home & Biz application to print from your android or apple mobile devices. It a free downloadable application that could help you. Hope this helps you.
