After I installed SP3 and update the HP software to the latest version (installed by using the full version downloaded from the HP website), these two icons and software are missing by HP Director and as well as the PC.

  See the attached screenshot. If you selected the option to remove my Aurora (nightly minefield, Firefox) the personal data and customizations you deleted all your profiles for each version you have / had installed. You can try to use a program for recovering files, like Recuva, to see what can be salvaged.

  The bookmarks to the file places.sqlite , or among the backup of bookmarks Favorites-aaaa-mm-jj.json files (10 are stored). Regarding your passwords, you need the file signons.sqlite and signons3.txt file.

  Given that you have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes without correcting the problem, it may be with a 3rd party product causes a problem.

  I would look at the post here to see if this solution can help you. It's from a 3rd third party site, you should use at your own risk, because it has not been tested, but seemed to help others with the same error that you are experiencing.

  If you can not use a restore point, and the moving process simple origonal location cannot be done.

  I would like to copy your files to external data, make sure that you have the keys that can be required for programs, then start with a win clean installation, deleting all partitions during the process, and then using the entire disk for C space.

  You can different circumstances redirect your libraries only to another drive, other than C.

  Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

  Method 1: This problem occurs if the current user profile has been accidentally deleted from the system.

  Note: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information on how to back up and restore the registry

  a. log in the system by using an administrative user account other than the user account that is experiencing the problem.

  b. back up the data in the folder of the current user profile if the profile folder still exists and then delete the profile folder. By default, the profile is located in the following location:

  %SystemDrive%\Users\UserName

  c. click Start, type regedit in the search box and press ENTER.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

  d. Locate the following registry subkey:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

  e. under the ProfileList subkey, delete the subkey named SID.bak.

  Note: SID is a placeholder for the security identifier (SID) of the user account that is experiencing the problem. The SID.bak subkey must contain a ProfileImagePath registry entry that points to the folder of the original profile of the user account that is experiencing the problem.

  f. exit the registry editor.

  g. log off the system.

  h. Journal to log on to the system again.

I became aware of the problems about 5 days ago, in the course of which I tried the search the support forums and Mozilla on the web for clues as to what I can try, where the reference to the #981577 issue, which looks like it could have been written by me (my saved passwords no longer work , and I can't open the modules now, but for the last few days I could use Add-ons-those for sql lite, but I just tried the add-on troubleshooting appearing at the bottom of this page and I can't use it, what happened to me earlier today, when I downloaded an add-on, I clicked on the FF orange button at the top left then click on Add - ons and it goes up to reach the Add-ons Manager, but nothing happens when you click on the add-on that you try to use - if it manifests itself - it shows only a page marker to square with 'Disable' and 'Delete' - I thought that the problem was with the other add-on I tried because he had a year and maybe he just didn't work. Somehow, I think that the Bar Menu of Firefox with button Firefox Orange and other toolbars could be part of the problem. If I click on the Navigation toolbar and click on the Favorites button that I added to the bar, he will fall down and show me bookmark pages (maybe 15) who are not sorted as my lack. I performed all the tasks mentioned in the conversation to question #981577, and for the most part, I repeated the procedure three times each with additional Firefox and put off my pc between the two for good measure. I also used Windows system restore twice with no results, but also try to "downgrade" my version of Firefox at 24 and 27 (which I know is not a recommended step and the first attempt resulted in the download of Firefox 28, which I was already running, and the second time, nothing restored or appeared as if by magic so I did an uninstall and did a clean install of Firefox 28 since the download link on the Mozilla site.   Thanks to everyone who took a peek at my problems with library files, history, bookmarks, downloads and passwords lost or missing after Firefox 28 updated (the automated), especially Michael. Jacky, your suggestion was among the first, I tried more than four days ago, but I re - try each day and twice today (this morning, and after I posted my problem of support here). Unfortunately, whenever I tried it, I need to click on start, and I almost always see the screen flash slightly, then at the top of the window where it says 'Library', I would say something like "the program is not responding" and then... nothing, and nothing on 'My Computer', showed changes. I also used inventory management and maintenance to ensure that the files were in my profile folder, etc. and I kept getting a clean management of sites with depth control and I double checked tables in maintenance of places - both of these programs as well as restoration was recommended in the previous responses to requests for information similar to mine. In addition to restoring my computer, I did a 'Reset' on Firefox that created a new profile name which is used where my FF files are stored. I think that this may have contributed to my eventual success.

  Finally, I tried the thing to save the files in another folder, then change the name of the 'SQL places?' I forgot the second part of the name of the file (I blame my brain tumor for my short term memory problems - really) I think it's the name, so I changed the name. I then clicked on file, then exit and it closed Fire Fox. I was very reluctant to use this method to solve my problems, but after about 4-5 attempts using this, my favorites showed up - not only those who register in the drop-down list and would only save to Favorites sorted in the library, he finally showed not to exactly as it did before the problems.   Need help, I have a windows 7 Ultimate OS on an old Dell XPS of 3 years. Operating system implemented at level of Windows Vista home for more than a year. Last week, when I connected, I noticed that all my desktop files were missing. Library of the missing files (including photos, videos, music & docs). Whats funny is that none of the files are missing. However, all possible files in each folder are missing. There is no way that I could have them was deleted by mistake, can not think of a keyboard shortcut to clear all the files, but leave the files. I run avast antivirus, set to day & works perfectly well. No application installs & the only windows update I see around this event was for MS silverlight.

  I backed up all possible files using a recovery agent & the thought of doing a clean reinstall of the operating system. PS - My research on the net has returned no results for this problem. Looking for all entries before going to come & clean clean my system. THX in advance

  Here are the steps I recommend:

  1. Open the computer and open your folder C:\Users.
  2. Right-click on the folder of your user name and select Properties.  Unset as hidden, and then click OK.

     You will be asked what you want to apply the changes.  Choose JUST THE FOLDER.  Although it seems appropriate, are not select subfolders, because some things down there, including the appdata folders and as such, must be hidden.

  3. Then go inside your userfolder and select all your folders accessible by the typical user (downloads, Documents, photos, video, etc.) and disabled the option down on those.  This time, pouvez you use the option 'apply to all subfolders and files '.
  That will get you squared away back.

  I unplugged the computer because I was worried that if the hard drive was not, that its use could write on previous data. In addition, the power in the House going on and off for a reason any. Since I'm not tech savy, I decided to hire a computer programmer rather than trying to back up my hard drive by using the adapter by myself. When the computer was reconnected overnight by the computer guy, he came as usual. All my files and pictures were back. The screen looked normal.  Yay! The computer guy said my hard drive was fine, but the computer probably had a virus 'Lotus '. I have Norton Anti virus. He ran a few malware research programs and found some viruses.   The uninstall does not delete session files, but if you are afraid you can go ahead and make a backup of the Adobe folder in the Documents folder and then try this.
