Ping.exe takes a lot of computer RAM and everything slows down. I stop the process, but it comes back. How can I remove it permanently?

Hello
I suggest that you try to run the computer analysis online and check if this may help:

I continue to receive Norton Security reports that a download with the pre RadioWMPCoreGecko fix. followed by various suffixes like dll '19.dll' or 05.Marco, 06 08 etc... takes a lot of computer resources. Can you explain what it is, as I understand it, it is called by Firefox.

This DLL can be part of a Firefox extension.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • How do I remove backup files and they slow down my computer

I was wondering if the backup of files that are loading down are slowing down my computer how to stop the process and remove

    Hello

If you think your computer's performance is slow, then it is best to perform a Disk Cleanup. Or see the following Microsoft article and check if that helps.

  • Tecra 9100 - installed like 512 MB RAM, but it slowed down my computer!

After much fumbling around trying to install my new 512 MB of RAM, I turned on my computer to find that it starts much more slowly. A message popped up saying 'Memory Module added' and my computer shows 768 MB is installed which is correct, because I already have 256 MB installed in Slot 1.

So why on Earth is my computer even slower! I bought it to speed up the thing! My computer is slow to start, is less sensitive and much better with just the 256 MB of RAM installed.

I think I might have damaged the RAM or the Slot 2 because at first, I inserted it incorrectly. They should have a video demo on how to install it because the manual didn't help me that much!

The RAM is crucial and supports my cell phone because I ran tests to determine what RAM I need.

    Can someone help me please!

    Hello

Well, it is possible that the new RAM is malfunctioning.

But have you checked the speed of RAM? How much MhZ is the module supports?

    The Tecra 9100 supports PC2100 512 MB (PA3164U - 1 M 51) module and it runs at 266 MHz.
If the new module supports a lower speed that the old second module will work also with lower speed.

Moreover, I would not recommend using modules without name. The performance is bad. Kingston modules are much better.

  • Process of charms, AppNOS and AppEH slow down my computer.

The computer of my daughter (a Macbook Pro, processor 2.4 GB, 4 GB RAM, OS x 10.7.5) is so slow. I'm afraid, it was malware. She clicked in some fake malware scan and now it's very slow. The activity monitor shows three processes that eat up memory: AppEH, charms, and AppNOS. If I kill the computer is accelerating. I've already removed some adware that I found, but it is still slow until I have kill these processes. What is? Thanks in advance.

  • I7 quad PC, 12 GB RAM, 64-bit slows down after several click operations

My usual assembled quad i7 PC is about a year old.  I had a recurring problem of the working speed using the mouse during video editing.  The first mouse functions start clicks quickly to the Premier Pro and other Creative Suite CS5 software.  However, after only several mouse clicks, nothing appears to register.  After a short time, mouse clicks become active again but the PC becomes slow.  It was recommended that I check with Adobe to confirm that my system complies with the specifications of the Creative Suite CS5.  As far as I know, the system exceeds the specifications of the software box.  I fear that one of the RAM modules may not be meeting the specifications for speed.  How can I check this for the following configuration or other suggestions?

    -Intel Core i7 920 CPU

    -12 GB OF DDR3 1333 RAM

  • Why speedgrade slowly guard eating up more RAM? Why slowing down?

So, I tried to use the new Speedgrade CC 2015 on my desk with:

    • 4790 K I7
    • GTX 960 (2 GB OF VRAM)
    • 16 GB of RAM (Corsair Vengeance 1600 Mhz)
    • Purple WD 3 to HARD drive
    • Corsair 650W PSU

I have some Adobe products configured to use up to 12 GB of Ram, while the 4 GB remaining is used to run Win 8.1 and several other background processes (Ref: image provided).
I realized I still edition speedgrade pantry gradually upward from RAM. I have a 5 min video with several cuts I've linked directly from Premiere Pro for Speedgrade and even a few basic changes later, I think the program is weak and there is a serious mismatch between change values and the changes that appear on the screen. Is there a bottleneck of some sort that I'm missing here? The use of the RAM develops gradually with each additional change. Here a picture after some modifications in speedgrade. Note that I closed Premiere Pro after import via the Direct link.
    speedgradeMemLeak.PNG

As a result I can't continue working in speedgrade and must close and restart. But the problem starts again in a few moments. What I'm doing wrong here? Also, is this normal high ram for a 5 min video with barely any changes done in speedgrade?

There is a memory leak in Sg that strikes some people and seems to have expanded, including YUV Vectorscope, opened. Given the ranking without scopes is so limited that they are stupid, well, that's a problem. They are working on fixing this problem as she can hit hard. Saving & never closing ten minutes is a pain, no? My 32 GB of RAM lasted a little longer... but still would be mounted max and s l o w everything down. • Pavilion dv2000 laptop computer under Win 7, slows down or freezes for a short period.

My Pavilion dv2000 running Win 7, slows down or freezes for a short period of time where, what seems to be, a talk-show audio plays.  Someone knows how to turn off tv and audio if you use no background.

I solved the problellm. After stripping the system of all the games and all other third party software, I discovered that the problem would occur when connected my net. If I started and did not attach the net audio problem has not occure.  It turns out that one of the files system temp to explore has been altered by a virus which, down, loaded each time that the system connected to the net.  Problem showed when testing the hard drive.  Ran the disk check which fixed the corrupt files, then reinstalled win 7 and other necessary software.  All right.

  • Ping.exe usurps RAM; How to fix

When I'm online ping.exe as shown in my task manager continues to use more and more RAM one I finally get insufficient virtual memory warning.  While my RAM is not huge it is used otherwise until the ping.exe takes longer.  I tried another registry cleaner and Registry Booster and have a subscription to McAfee actibe; I changed the security settings and pretty and all that I can find to fix and he continues to prevail.  How can I solve/fix/cure this situation?

' lo once again, Aziz.  Following my last submission, I think I can finally control my situation that included annoying "redirects" to websites, I had no desire to see.  I do not start in own State as the button to download the instructions for us droolers led to a path that only told me that the download was not available now, try later... and later... and later... ad nauseam.  I start in safe mode and signed as an administrator.  I then ran McAfee scan which found 15 cookies that had not been thrown into previous efforts with various cleaners.  As a result, when restart the c/f chkdsk safe mode, I had tried to make a different point of view finally ran... once for each time that I tried to let him go.  What finally did was to remove corruption from a file in the boot registry.  When it was finally started in normal user mode I noticed enough bit that the ping.exe (tcp/ip malware) consumed no longer massive amounts of my RAM or even obvious at all.  Also, I had stopped be 'redirect '.

  • Windows Indexing running for hours each day, slowing down computer

Every morning when I start my laptop, the Windows Indexing service starts.  He turns for hours and really slows down my computer while it is running.  I suspect that it is a new construction index every day and not incremental update.

Last week, I opened administrative services, found indexing service and set its startup type to disabled.  When I go in there now, he said that the service is stopped, but in my status bar windows taskbar system, it is still ongoing.

I am running Windows XP Professional Svc Pack 3.

    Help, please!

You probably mean the Windows Desktop Search?  (Which is not the same as Indexing Service).  Go to add/remove programs then uninstall it.
