Single SQL query for the analysis of the date of customs declaration under the table of Stock codes
Dear all,
Please tell us a single SQL query for the below,
We have a Table of Stock as shown below,
STOCK_TABLE
ITEM_CODE
(item code)
BAT_NO
(lot no.)
TXN_CODE
(transaction code)
DOC_NO
(number)
BOE_DT
(date of the customs declaration)

We have to find the date of customs declaration (i.e. the date when the items have come under this particular table) for items that are not attached to any document (that is, who have TXN_CODE, DOC_NO and BOE_DT fields with a NULL value).
For each item in the table of actions, which is not attached to any document, the customs declaration date is calculated as follows.
- If (code section, lot number) combination is present under HISTORY_TABLE, the date of customs declaration will receive the UPDT_DT, the transaction code (TXN_CODE) is an IN or transactions (which can be analyzed from the TRANSACTIONS table).
- If (code section, lot number) combination is NOT currently at the HISTORY_TABLE (or) the transaction code respective to item - batch number combination code is an operation then customs declaration date will be the date of the document (DOC_DT) that we receive from one of the 3 tables IN_TABLE_HEAD that contains the element of that particular lot.
- If the case 1 and case 2 fails, our customs declaration date will be the last date of document (DOC_DT) that we receive from one of the 3 tables IN_TABLE_HEAD containing that particular item and the BAT_NO in expected results will be that corresponding to this document, as appropriate, to another NULL.
- If the case 1 or case 2 is successful, the value of the last field (in the output expected, shown further below) BATCH_YN will be 'Y', because it fits the lot. Otherwise it will be 'n'.

I need to compare two tables for the integrity of the data through the SQL query. If you need to compare all the columns of t1 to t2:
(SELECT * FROM t1 MINUS SELECT * FROM t2) UNION ALL (SELECT * FROM t2 MINUS SELECT * FROM t1);

I am trying to evaluate the expression ': + b1: b2 + (: b3 *: b4) "which is stored in the table. This table has different expressions (expressions about 300). I want to use the bind variable in the expression because each expression evaluated thousands of time may be more in some cases. If I use bind variable can he fill pool.
Is there a way I can pass parameters with the HELP of (IN) dynamically instead of write "help lv_tab (1), lv_tab (2), lv_tab (3), lv_tab (4)? As number of change of the input parameters depend on the expression in the table.
If it is possible please suggest any other ideas/approaches
Help, please...
Published by: satnam on June 11, 2009 11:50Well, you keep changing faster reqs that I can follow. In any case, assuming that N-th variable bind (left to right) corresponds to n-th collection item:
Declare result NUMBER; lv_tab values_tab := values_tab(); lv_exp varchar2(300); lv_exec varchar2(300); lv_i number := 0; BEGIN lv_tab.extend(4); lv_tab(1) := 5; lv_tab(2) := 48; lv_tab(3) := 7; lv_tab(4) := 6; lv_exp := ':5000135+:5403456+(:5900111*:5200456)'; lv_exec := lv_exp; While regexp_like(lv_exec,':\d+') loop lv_i := lv_i + 1; lv_exec := REGEXP_REPLACE(lv_exec,':\d+',':b(' || lv_i || ')',1,1); end loop; lv_exec := 'BEGIN :a := ' || lv_exec || '; END;'; DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(lv_exec); EXECUTE IMMEDIATE lv_exec USING OUT result,IN lv_tab; DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(result); END; / BEGIN :a := :b(1)+:b(2)+(:b(3)*:b(4)); END; 95 PL/SQL procedure successfully completed. I want to map a combination of batch of degree for a class rooms group of such distance that they make full use of the maximum capacity of the class rooms within a group (ideally), or as close to this as possible. Can it be done with a SQL query?
Any response will be appreciated.
The SQL Scripts to generate the required tables and populate data is less to:

Published by: Bilal on December 27, 2012 10:07Bilal, thanks for the nice problem! Another possibility to double check is to write a small PL/SQL function that returns 1 if a duplicate id is found, then equate to 0: "NUMBER of RETURN of Duplicate_Token_Found (p_str_main in VARCHAR2, p_str_trial VARCHAR2). It should analyze the second string and could use p_str_main LIKE '%', | l_id | ', %' for each id. In any case, the query complete (without that) is given below:

Hi team,
For example if I have a demo table with 4 columns (A, B, C, D) DEMO.
I want a report on this table, such that the report contains the headers and the Details section.
For each unique combination of (A, B) I must first of all show header based on the header information I want to display the detailed section.
In my header section I want to display 2 columns (A, B) that are common to the detailed section. Remaining 2 columns in the detailed section.
Here is an example: -.
A B C D
1 5 9 3
1 5P8
1 5 P O
1-5-9
1 8 9
1 D * /
2 8 33 P
2 P O O
2 P L L
YOU WILL SEE
A AND B
1 5
C D
9 3
P 8
P O
A AND B
1 D
C D
5 9
8 9
* /
A AND B
2 P
C D
8 33
O O
L L
Please suggest the solution (sql query) for above the problem and how to nest gernerated headers dynamically in the report area.
I use APEX 4.0
Any position in this regard is very significant.
Thanks and greetings

Installation of SQL Server for the virtual Center Server
Hi all
We bought 16 x 2 for ESX server CPU licenses. So, I will prepare a database of virtual server of the Management Center 16 guests. As SQL Server 2005 Express is installed during installation of Virtual Center Server but VMware is recommended for use only for 5 guests.
So I would like to prepare a database of SQL for VC server, please help me how to make the database to the virtual Center Server. Are there special tables, configuration, permissions. I have no experience with databases then how should I go with it. Is there a guide for it. The ESX Server installation guide explains only create ODBC connections.
Please help me with this I would be very obliged.
I know that the procedure is restrited 2 steps (1 and 2) on page 68, but you need to install and configure SQL Server for your business standard (I guess asking the C: or D: and data/newspapers on E :). I'm not going to explain better how to install SQL Server on a server. For the SQL Server database:
Step 1: you create a database storing the files on the right disk (with at least 30 GB) with a default database size to the size defined by the "Calculator" (value of + 15% on the line of your choice statistical level).
Step 2: On your Microsoft SQL Server, create a user of SQL Server database with the database rights of operator (DBO). The default database for the DBO User is that you defined in step 1. Make sure the database user has a role of sysadmin server or the role of database db_ownerfixed on the VirtualCenter database and the MSDB database. The role db_owner on the MSDB database is required for the installation and upgradeonly. This role can be removed after installation or upgrade process iscompleted.
The user must be created for your standard business as service account (password never expires) with a long and complex password.
Other steps in the document are for the ODBC connection.
Creating the tables is made during the installation of VC. Nothing to do. A characteristic is not to stop the SQL Server agent because some tasks are scheduled in the database to 'compact' statistics.
For the record, the database is upgraded when installing patches VC creating of new tables, updating of data type or...

pl/sql code for the problem
Hi all
Can someone please tell me how to write pl/sql code to the below question:
I have two tables has temp and temp b both have the code and the reading of time columns. I want if temp one more time temp b for a particularcode of reading then reading time of tempb must obtain updates of reading time (reading time to temp b should get updated ony if the temp one reading is largest temp b and code exist in the tables). If the code as code1 which exist in temp one but doesnot exist in temp b so that records should get inserted into table b temp.
For Ex. Temp a code1, 10:00; Code1, 11:00; B temp is code1, and code 2.10 AM:code 2.9 AM 09:00; then once the program run the tempb should have code1, 11:00; Code2, 10:00
Thanks in advance.Hello
You needn't PL/SQL for this; a MERGE statement will do.
If you want to do it in PL/SQL, always to use MERGE:BEGIN MERGE INTO tempb dst USING ( SELECT code , MAX (reading_time) AS reading_time FROM tempa GROUP BY code ) src ON (src.code = dst.code) WHEN MATCHED THEN UPDATE SET dst.reading_time = src.reading_time WHERE dst.reading_time < src.reading_time WHEN NOT MATCHED THEN INSERT (dst.code, dst.reading_time) VALUES (src.code, src.reading_time) ; END; /

PL/SQL function for the addition of "days."
I created a function that, at a date and a number, adds many days to the date. The problem is that there are parameters to include Saturday, Sunday or Monday as these days. Here is an example of the call
DAYSBETWEEN('01-Aug-11',5,0,0,0) will give 5 calendar days since August 1, 2011 (that you would not exclude Saturday, Sunday or Monday)
DAYSBETWEEN (August 1, 11 ', 5, 1,1,0) would give you 5 working days since August 1, 2011
DAYSBETWEEN('01-Aug-11',5,0,1,1) would give you 5 days of August 1, 2011 spring break Sunday and Monday.
My current role is:
This works for a small set of values for the date, but when there is a bigger set of dates, it takes hours to complete because of the time loop and multiple or statements.create or replace FUNCTION DAYSBETWEEN( DAYIN IN DATE , ADDNUM IN NUMBER , EXSAT IN NUMBER , EXSUN IN NUMBER , EXMON IN NUMBER ) RETURN DATE IS dtestart DATE; intcount NUMBER; holidays NUMBER; BEGIN dtestart := DAYIN; intcount :=1; WHILE intcount <= ADDNUM LOOP dtestart := dtestart + 1; IF NOT((EXSAT = 1 AND TO_CHAR(dtestart, 'd')= 7) OR (EXSUN=1 AND TO_CHAR(dtestart, 'd')= 1) OR (EXMON=1 AND TO_CHAR(dtestart, 'd')= 2)) THEN intcount := intcount + 1; END IF; END LOOP; RETURN dtestart; END DAYSBETWEEN;
Y at - it another game of logic, I could use to improve this query, using possibly not the while loop / or statements?Hi again:
This is the query, reformatted in the form of a function, exectuing the same thing I did in the above query:
SQL> CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION daysbetween 2 ( 3 dayin IN DATE , 4 addnum IN NUMBER , 5 exsat IN NUMBER , 6 exsun IN NUMBER , 7 exmon IN NUMBER ) 8 9 RETURN DATE 10 11 IS 12 13 dtestart DATE; 14 intcount NUMBER; 15 holidays NUMBER; 16 17 BEGIN 18 19 WITH all_dates AS 20 ( 21 SELECT LEVEL AS days_to_add 22 , dayin 23 , dayin + LEVEL AS new_dt 24 , addnum 25 , exsat 26 , exsun 27 , exmon 28 FROM dual 29 CONNECT BY LEVEL <= addnum * 2 30 ) 31 , exclusions AS 32 ( 33 SELECT ROW_NUMBER() OVER ( ORDER BY new_dt) ordering 34 , addnum 35 , new_dt 36 , TO_CHAR ( new_dt, 'DY' ) 37 FROM all_dates 38 WHERE 1=1 39 AND TO_CHAR ( new_dt, 'DY' ) != DECODE ( exsat, 1, 'SAT', 'XXX') 40 AND TO_CHAR ( new_dt, 'DY' ) != DECODE ( exsun, 1, 'SUN', 'XXX') 41 AND TO_CHAR ( new_dt, 'DY' ) != DECODE ( exmon, 1, 'MON', 'XXX') 42 ) 43 SELECT MAX( new_dt ) 44 INTO dtestart 45 FROM exclusions 46 WHERE ordering <= addnum; 47 48 RETURN dtestart; 49 50 END daysbetween; 51 / Function created. SQL> SELECT daysbetween ( DATE '2011-08-01', 150, 1, 0, 1) FROM DUAL; DAYSBETWE --------- 26-FEB-12 1 row selected.
The only variable not factored is holiday, but I saw that you were for them in your LOOP function either.
Due to the nature and variability holiday, it is better to have a table with the listed holidays, and those who could be elminated of charges together in the same 'exculsions' query where I used the TO_CHAR and DECODE to exclude the Fri, sat and Sun.

Help with the cluster in table for the cluster size difference, please!
I will admit to still hurt with the berries of LabVIEW, and as usual, the behavior in the vi attached is meaningless to me! The attached vi shows a cluster 6 element being converted into a table, then immediately to a cluster. The reconstructed cluster has 9 elements, even if the table size indicator display properly 6. How to maintain the initial cluster size when converting to and then since then, a table?
The f
Well, if you have worked with context-sensitive help running you would see:
"With the right button of the function and select the Size of Cluster in the context menu to set the number of items in the cluster."
The default is new. The maximum cluster size for this function is 256. »
You must set the size. There is no way for the function to know how many elements in the table.

Hello
We install TMS v15 and we will use external SQL. What communication ports, protocols, and services that are required for communication between the server SQL and MSDS?
Thank you
LAN
Hello
As directed by installation of TMS external help SQL server guide, requirement of network latency between the Cisco TMS server and SQL server should not exceed 20 ms.
For the ports used by TMS refer to this guide on page 13.
For connections SQL, the TCP port used by an instance SQL server by default is configurable, and the port used by a named instance of SQL server is dynamic, changing whenever the service restarts.
For instructions on taking your SQL server server to listen on a particular port:

Try adding conditions to clause "and" stored in the table for the where clause, unknown syntax
I am trying to add additional segments to the 'where' clause, and I don't know exactly how to proceed. I am currently using another table to search for keywords and sometimes there aren't everything. I use this table containing the key words to search the description and associate a symbol with a path.
The code loops through the keywords with the keywords most associated and try to find links to a symbol then excludes those and search for symbols that correspond to those with less keywords and all. I am able to do this with 6 queries and manually changing the arguments, but I want to loop together so that if the changes need to be made in the future, I won't need to go digging in the code.
Thanks, but that's ok. I already have a solution for this.

Loading SQL tables using the rules file
Hi Experts,
I have a doubt. In our project, we have a maxl command that imports the essbase data cube using tables sql below.
import data from database VodaPln.wrkforce
log in as 'devhyp' identified by 'password' using the rules_file «WFDataLoad.rul» Server
My doubt is here in this maxl, we define the schema and password name ('devhyp' identified by 'password'( ), but we do not give the name of the table. So, how will the maxl understand what table to extract the data. Please let me know in case I'm missing something and need to check out somewhere else.
Thanks and greetings
The actual SQL statement is in the State of charge, IT will set the columns, tables where the conditions and joins. The first parameter is the name of user who may or may not be the schema name. This information is containd in the State of charge, but also an ODBC or CLI connection
