  Looks like your battery is dead (or dying or defective) - this is what happened to mine when he died and I had to buy a replacement (about $150, but yours may be different).  Although systems may come with guarantees of 4-5 years, this excludes the battery, which usually comes with a 1 year warranty (if there is long).  Batteries die.  You need to replace it with one that fits and is correctly powered and connected (which means probably get the replacement from the manufacturer of the computer).

I don't want to spend money on buying a new charger and battery or a new laptop if there is chance, it happens again. Please, if there is a really good solution that actually worked, tell me. Seriously, I think the problem is on Windows Vista.
