  When I run firefox and its connected to the net I find firefox slows down my browseing experience, I studied this by looking at the XP Task Manager and with firefox running that I use between 44 and 56% of cpu resources, the culprit is plugin container.exe but why is - it because all my plugins are disabled why plugin container active at all if the plugins are used... never had this problem with older versions of firefox... any ideas?

  First of all, you have two Shockwave for Director installed:

  • Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.0.9.149
  • Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 11.6.8.638

  The difference is versions. Try to uninstall they and only install the most recent version.

  Try to start Firefox in Mode safe, sometimes some plugins can block imagens:

  First, I installed acrobat standard 8.3 on my new computer portable 64-bit windows 7 and then installed acrobat reader X on it.

  Programs run when I opened but after 1 or 2 seconds lead to a dialogue with the detected invalid measage plugin. Adobe Reader will close.

  

  On my windows 7 32 bit, both programs work very well together.

  I do not have to add plugins.

  Found the answer.

  Without knowing it, was a plugin of Babylon, deleted and works fine now.

  Path is C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 10.0\Reader\plug_ins

• How to remove the old plugins in the add-on Manager

  Plugins are part of third party software that you have installed on your computer. To uninstall the plugin, you need to remove the application that has installed the plugin in the first place.
  This is not always desired. So I'd keep just those unwanted plugins disabled. They won't hurt.
  There are ways to fix the Windows registry so that these plugins are no longer visible for Firefox and therefore will not be displayed in the Add-ons Manager. But unless you know exactly what you are doing, you should not start playing with it.

  Hi all

  For these last days, Adobe Flash has been crashing in Firefox. Sometimes I'll see a second or so before animation it crashes, but usually, I just see the message "crushed" like the screenshot on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/adobe-flash-plugin-has-crashed. On some pages, it's just empty where I know the Flash component must be.

  From Firefox in SafeMode with plugins disabled does not help, although if I start * Windows * safe mode, Flash works fine.

  Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html and by clicking the check now shows me my version of Flash, but the animation that appears just below the button block (rasthaus screenshot).

  I've done several complete uninstall/relocations of Flash and Firefox, including manually via C:\Users\username\AppData\Local and \Roaming and remove subfolders of Mozilla.

  I am at a loss here, any help you can provide is appreciated.

  Hey gang, I actually thought about it--I had forgotten that I had changed my FF shortcut to always run the program in Compatibility Mode Windows 7 as a way to try to make it work with the online provider portal. I disabled mode of W7, and everything is working again now.

• How can I get rid of the list of people with mobility reduced/obsolete/duplicate plugins, I want more?

  O/s = XP (uptodate)
  I have various disabled plugins which are that duplicate/invalid/not wanted I want to remove from the display of the plugins list. Is there a way to do this?

  For example: I have a plugin disabled for Microsoft Office 2003. I no longer use office but the plugin still appears in my plugins list.

• Firefox 4.0 than flash menus as a key on the keyboard is pressed. Can not access even with all the plugins turned off. Same issue on multiple machines with different versions of Windows. How this can be solved?

  FF 4.0. Flash menus such as a key is maintain pressed making it inaccessible. The problem persists with all the plugin disabled. Firefox box top left appears. The old logo FF show instead.

  Fact to uncheck use hardware acceleration helps in the Firefox menu > options then in the window of Options - Advanced tab > uncheck the box 'use hardware acceleration when available' stop the problem does not happen.

• InCopy Workflow Plugins - missing!

  This question is in reference to InDesign CS6, which I use for two projects for different clients.

  Project A, we are on an InCopy workflow, and I was happily using my assignments Panel to manage the text.

  Project B is picked then required a K4 workflow. It was installing plugins so K4 InCopy plugins disable.

  I received a script to quickly make the 'clean up' plugin as required K4 (a script that I now regret the use). When I came back to a project file has, of course, my assignments Panel was missing, and I can't find it anywhere.

  I checked my plugins folder; There is nothing in there more about InCopy or assignments. Nothing in my trash, either.

  Can anyone advise on how to restore the default plugins?

  Well, I'm back running with fully functional InDesign for both workflows.

  I ended up reinstalling the program. I managed to keep my preferences on uninstall it will affect anything. After reinstalling my plugins K4 remained and InCopy plugins have been restored.

  I created a game in the extensions Manager to facilitate the transition between the two streams of work.

  I blame the script, but I can't exclude that I can have manually deleted the InCopy plugins. I received a lot of pop ups when I launched the program, and it was confusing. Hard to believe that I have saved a copy of this folder plugin somewhere, but it is possible; I just wanted to get K4 run and I didn't know that it would conflict with the InCopy workflow and related plugins, panels, etc.

  This could be due to an outdated plugin in the vSphere client.

  I suggest you try the following steps:

  Disable all Plug-ins in the vSphere Client.

  1 open the vSphere Client

  2 - Click on Plug-ins > Plug-ins to manage

  3 disable all Plug-ins by double-clicking it and selecting disable. (You can reactivate later using the same procedure)

  4 - restart your vSphere Client and check if the error still appears.

  If the guilty plugin is VMware vCenter Converter, make sure that it is upgraded to the latest version on the vCenter server.

  (for example this passage from 4.0.2 to 4.1.1 - r206188 solve the problem)

  5 - once updated the plugin on the server vCenter, reinstall it in vSphere Client using the plug-in Manager. You can also let the guilty plugin disabled in the vSphere Client.

• Point video freezing HTML5 player but audio is fine

  I'm using the latest stable version of Firefox, but it seems every time I play a video YouTube every few seconds the video will freeze and sometimes the icon of buffering, but audio continues on the property. However, I made a further exploration of my own and found out that IPv6 is set to "Link Local" only in my router. I have reset on 'Automatic', the router reset to update, and my problem was solved. So it was the IPv6 setting (unlikely) or the router reset (probably) that solved the problem, or it is your suggestions I tried and did not work, COMBINED with the router reset which solved the problem (quite possible).
