  All laptops with WLAN have this. WLAN antenna is placed behind the screen and these two wires must be connected to the WLAN antenna.

  If your laptop doesn't have WLAN card put just the cables aside and everything will be OK.

  I just noticed yesterday that my screen looks a bit above. It is not outside the screen, but when I use a torch I can see when the screen is off.

  Before answer you, can you please help me with something.
  You use your laptop while he traveled a lot? You use it on your bed? Do you use it in a room with, lets say, a large rug or something of the sort? Things like these could get behind the screen by the edges of the screen, I guess, I have a few particles of dust inside my screen because im always traveling etc. They are not a big problem for me, but I'm sure you can get your screen cleaned under warranty.

  I guess you mean a kind of antenna? As far as I know behind the screen is placed antenna WLAN for supported models with WLAN connectivity.

  I wasn't able to find info on Satellite 1800-921, but if the unit is supplied without WIFI I guess that there is no WLAN antenna behind the screen. By the way: I believe that the Satellite 1800 series is delivered without a WLAN option.

• Portege Z930-10F - broken the screen twice in just 3 months

  I am user of laptop for 12 years. On 30 July, I bought my Portege Z930, thinking it was my best decision for many years.

  It's really amazing story and I think you're the first person who says something like that.
  Portege Z930 has long been on the market and I have never heard of these issues.
  Please don t get me wrong, but it is really strange that happening already three times.

  I saw this machine and all the construction seems pretty stable for me. When you open the screen, I hope that your fingers are placed in the middle of the display panel and not by the side. The pressure on the hinges of the screen coverage must be the same. If you want to display on one side only, I can imagine that something like this can happen, but it shouldn't t.

  Portege series is one of the best portable Toshiba s business so I think that the Toshiba and technicians designer take very seriously and I can't imagine that they make this mistake of design.

  I still have some old Portege 2000 and it was lighter for laptop at this time with very sensitive display and the hinges of the screen cover, but there is no problem at all.

  We can discuss here everyday and I really hope that someone with the Portege even can post experiences, but all of that, that you try to clarify with Toshiba. Be careful when you open and hold the display in the Middle only.

  I bought a HP w2448 hc monitor in May.   You nailed it. Without the Add-ons, it works as it should. Now, I have to determine which of my modules is the culprit. I have day some after I installed the last you bird. I have not that much, so it should be an easy thing to disable all and then putting back one by one.

  I've been plahying lonely spider offline for many years on this computer.  All of a sudden when I click the icon of the spider I can hear it loading but it loads behind the screen.      I can go to start program... Hearts... in offline mode and it appears normal for me to play.    Spider Solitaire is not scores by going to the start.  programs etcc.   I don't know how it appeared originally.  I hope someone can help...
