position. Velocity does NOT

Hello

I wrote preset with expressions in AE cs4 and it was to calculate the direction of motion of the layer.

It worked perfectly in CS4.

In CS5 the resulting vector very often has a length of 0 - especially with the NULL values that have applied the tracking data.

Even if the value Null'S move.

A workaround solution I found was to use a BakeTransforms script on the Null layer.

The movement does not change, but now for some reason any position.vector give an appropriate value.

After that experiment, it seems that if a null gets applied data track, the position.velocity vector for the null value still isn't valid

Any ideas?

> It totally worked in CS4 so what gives?

Really? For me, it's the same in CS4 and CS5.

Another thing you can do is to change the spatial interpolation of the Bezier keyframes.

  • Absolute positioned div does not display do not properly on the iPad/mobile devices

    Hi guys,.

    I made a website that works in the usual web browsers and seems fine. However, my customer brought to my attention that the logo shifts on the far right during a test on an iPad or mobile phone. I checked on my HTC and the customer seems to be just.

    The div tag that the logo is in is positioned absolutely with a value of 'left' to make him sit on the navigation bar and doesn't interfere with anything else. I thought about using a style alternative and added the code...

    < link rel = "stylesheet" href = "scripts/styleAlt.css" type = "text/css" media = "Pocket" / > "

    .. .but it made no difference.

    I was wondering if someone else would be able to take a look and see if we can come up with a solution please is the website here - as I say, that's good in FF or IE, but screw upwards on mobile devices, I think.

    Thank you very much and I hope to hear from you.

    All the best,

    SM

    In fact, the logo is not spend but what does elsewhere on the page.  When you use position: absolute, you delete the content of the normal flow of the document.  The AP element is positioned compared to the next positioned parent element.  And if none is declared in your CSS, the element is from the top of the browser, and to the right.

    By the way, if you resize your viewport in Firefox, IE, etc... you will see the same thing happen.

    A quick fix is to add the position: relative to your division #container.

    #container {}

    Width: 859px;

    margin: 0 auto;

    position: relative;

    }

    In addition, you need to set again positioning of the logo.

  • By dragging the position VI does not

    I want to be able to "slide" a VI autour (mainly happen under Windows), but the result is very nervous and seems not to move correctly (not to get a ratio of 1-1 with my mouse position). Any suggestions?  VI is attached

    Edit: I am a fool.  I was using "Control Panel" mouse coords, not absolute coords...  I have programmed before--I promise.

    It seems better to work when you get the mouse position on the screen as opposed to the position of the mouse on the front panel. It also seems that the program works best when only the position of the front is acquired whenever the mouse is down. See if it works better.

  • post-its nav - position fixed does not work

    Hello

    I have a rectangle with a fixed, high position of 80px 0px and law:

    var tabs = sym.$("tabs");

    Tabs.CSS ({"location": "fixed", "top": "80px", "right": "0px"});

    Inspect element in the browser (safari) confirms that the position is fixed.  (Watch the blue rectangle on the right.)  And it sticks on the right side if I change the width of the browser.

    Screen Shot 2014-04-25 at 3.01.15 PM.png

    However, if I scroll to the top, the blue box is scrolled upward and out of the scene:

    Hello

    You can get this StickyNav in this way

    because jquery and css is all based on the left and top position, so we need calculate the right position

    in this case because we want to right = 0, so we do this way

    =========================================================================================

    at the stage > compositionReady

    right = $("body").width () - sym.$("tabs").width)

    SYM. $("onglets") .css ({"location": "fixed", "top": "80px', 'left': right +" px"}).appendTo ($("body"))

    =========================================================================================

    / / with .appendTo ($("body")) make us it stick in the browser

    This is a problem, if we resize the browser element will remain wherever it is that we should add this code

    =========================================================================================

    at the stage > resize

    right = $("body").width () - sym.$("tabs").width)

    SYM. $("onglets") .css ({"location": "fixed", "top": "80px', 'left': right +" px"})

    =========================================================================================

    so we are now good, and to resize our div will remain right = 0px

  • Illustrator does not resize / move item to a given pixel, return to position size / previous. And also when resize, reduce some element complex, it completely distorts the object.

    Hi guys. I'll have much declined of disorders I've done the last Illustrator update (17.) on my PC. Sometimes works, sometimes not. I think that it is a software bug.

    When I try to resize or move a shape or other element to a given pixel, he returned to the size or the previous position. It won't let me change if a pixel more or less than my desired. I took twice as much time to finish the work, make cuts.

    Moreover, when I resize an objetc, a logo for example, which consists of several elements for a smaller size, the object is completely undetermined. It does not keep the unit and the initial spacing between the elements.

    EXAMPLE 2_2.jpg

    Actually,.

    In such cases, the first assumption is aligned to the pixel grid.

    You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher.

    You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

    Apart from this, it may be time to move to an updated version or CC2014 (18.1.1).

    Using the CC Office management application, we can go to the gear icon at the top right and go from there.

    Since you mention divs PA, I thought I'd share this other post on divs PA and why they don't work for the General layout. Does not have the validation of the CSS to your page, but most likely, see the page exactly as it is responsible for... but you probably forgot something... a VERY important rule...

    Old post:

    In my opinion, one of the worst features of Dreamweaver is the way in which it promotes the use of divs PA for web page layout.

    It would be a lot less annoying if they had built in a feature film to teach and improve the "Natural Flow" design rather than drag and drop or AP div positioning.

    You have other options. Yes, use Natural Flow, which means that the elements of the page are analyzed by starting at the top of the page, Web browser code, then line two, then three, all the way to the bottom of line.

    Using a stated position as absolute said and browser to take this element out of the natural flow and do something different with it. If you have the browser analysis in order from top to bottom, then throw in some elements that are completely out of traffic... they can be very difficult to control, because there are special rules that apply to items with reported positions.

    Least under standing of these rules is what I call the "rule of the Parent. Giving an element declared as relative or absolute position can have huge differences in the way in which this element appears actually depending on whether or not the PARENT of this element has also a declared position.

    So a div which is position: absolute for example will display a way if it's parent also has a declared position and it will show in a completely different way if it's parent is NOT a declared... position to consider:

    If parent container a div IS NOT also has a declared position, the child

    1 of 2 things will do so.
    If position: relative, he positions himself as you wish but space will remain as if this element was still in the natural flow. So you can move the item 500 X 100 and rollover, but a space of 500 X 100 will be left, as if it was still there.
    If position: absolute, child is positioned against the window of the browser and this position does not change even if the window contracts or expands.

    So don't forget to give a position with the parent and the child

    .

    Failure to follow this rule is the main reason why the use of declared positioning fails.

    Best wishes

  • Service Web REST-output parameter does not work in the Manager POSITION

    I created a RESTful Web Service in Oracle Apex, using a POST method as a 'Manager'   I have installation 11 input parameters which all work fine, this is my setting an output that does not return successfully.

    Here are details on the output parameter

    Name: returns

    Name of the bind Variable: : return

    Access method: OUTPUT

    Source type: response

    Parameter type: String

    The actual source is a call to a pl/sql package that returns a value that I set: Returns equal to (for example: Returns: = v_result).   I tried this with header Type of Source and still the same result, "no exit".

    I see APEX calls wwv_flow_api.create_restful_param to generate the (import) settings, is there documentation on this procedure?

    How can I get this output parameter to return something to the answer?

  • Div positioning does not work in Firefox w ApEx 4.0.1

    I have a page that has been developed with ApEx 3.2. It shows a dynamically generated report in which there are several elements of apex_item.text. Each element becomes a unique ID by concatenating a name with the row ID. Each line has number (SKU) of information. When the text qty item gets javascript focus causes the item availability div to appear just below the qty selected text element.

    We write a similar application of ApEx 4.0.1. When I run the page that it works as expected. When I run it in Firefox (3.6) div availability is displayed in the same location, left and top, regardless of how much of the field is selected.

    Here's the javascript code:
      function showAvailability( pThis ) {
        var l_ndx = pThis.id.substring(4);
        var gAvail = new htmldb_Get(null,$v('pFlowId'),
                                  'APPLICATION_PROCESS=PQ_GET_AVAILABILITY', 0);
        gAvail.addParam('x01', $v('item_nbr_' + l_ndx));
        gReturn = gAvail.get();

        var locateThisTop = 42;
        var locateThisLft = -48;
        var node = pThis;

        while( node != null ) {
          locateThisTop += node.offsetTop;
          locateThisLft += node.offsetLeft;
          node = node.offsetParent;
        }
        $s('availability', gReturn);
        $x('availability').style.top = locateThisTop;
        $x('availability').style.left = locateThisLft;
        $x('availability').style.display = 'block';
      } /* end function showAvailability */
    Summary: It works on Firefox 3.2 apex. It works in ApEx 4.0.1 on I.E. It does NOT work in the ApEx 4.0.1 on Firefox.

    No idea why? More importantly, any ideas how to fix?

    Thank you
    Gregory

    CSS dimensions must include a unit of length. Prior to version 4.0, built-in themes APEX were designed to render in quirks mode, accepting any old HTML, CSS and JS tag soup. The new APEX 4.0 themes are designed to operate in standard mode, in which will be Firefox - correctly - ignore an invalid style rule. (In this case, it's IE that is non-compliant.)

    This new application uses a new theme of APEX 4.0? If so, try:

    $x('availability').style.top = locateThisTop + 'px';
    $x('availability').style.left = locateThisLft + 'px';
