• Problem with Y550 Wireless: Wireless button does nothing

  Got this Y550 (used), a few days ago. When I got there, the wifi worked well. Then it stopped working, I reinstalled Windows 7 (Lenovo recovery CD), then every time I turn on the wireless button, it just does nothing. No wifi signal, it's like a dummy button. Here's what I've tried so far:

  1) updated the driver and BIOS (Intel Wifi link 5100 AGN)

  (2) for configuration towards the top of my network and sharing Center, and whenever I tried troubleshooting, it says 'enable wireless function '.

  It's as if everything doesn't work anymore. The laptop says stil it's under warranty, but I don't know if I can do anything with the guarantee (second user).

  My other lenovo G550 has the same problem. But it is always connected to the wired router, but still, I would like to know what is the problem and how to fix them. I searched the forum for Y550 wireless problem, but has not really helped. Should I change the wireless card, on each of them? Thanks in advance

• REMOTE OFFICE RESOURCES, LOCAL, MORE BUTTON DOES NOTHING.

  I use desktop remotely about 2 times a month. The last time I used it, about 3 weeks it worked fine. When I tried this morning, it worked, but my drive of the local computer shares were NOT appearing in the desktop connection remote.

  So I thought I had newspaper off voltage/disconnect and adjust my settings.

  When I click the "More" button... ' to highlight and view local drives to share, it nothing happens.

  I looked in the event viewer errors related to remote desktop, but no luck.

  For example, Remote Desktop works, but I can no longer change the specific local resources because more... Button does absolutely nothing.

  Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  You can first check whether or not the remote desktop service is started and set to automatic.

  To check the service

  1. click on start

  2. in the start search box, type Services

  3. click right on - RUN as ADMINISTRATOR

  Check if the below mentioned services has mentioned State and type start.

  Remote Desktop services started automatic

  Also check the dependency services that are required for the remote desktop function work correctly.

  To check the dependency services click two times on the service and click the Dependencies tab.

  Also try to run as an administrator remote desktop connection and check if you have the option to select the disks.

  To run as administrator right click on the application and select run as administrator.

• Introduce the button does nothing

  I have a form created in Acrobat 9 Pro, which has a configured for mailto send button: my aol address.  If I open the file in Adobe Acrobat Pro local, fill in and press the "submit" button, it brings up a sign asking me to select my mail app, which he started, creates the mail and once I'm in my e-mail program I can send it and it happens.

  If I push the button when in Adobe Reader, it brings up an error sign "this operation is not allowed."

  The button does absolutely nothing when the file is load/edited in Premiere.

  I have the file in my site web (I am running apache on my machine) and it loads in safari very well using the url http://localhost/~Cathy/My_Form.PDF and allows me to fill the fields, but when I push the "Submit" button, there is no sign that something happened to all the.

  We tried with the Web site of the client on our production server, and it includes the same way - no error message, no mail, no sign that the button is connected to anything.

  Preview has bad support for PDF Forms. It's Apple's fault, and there is nothing you can do about it besides does not use.

  It can work with the player, assuming that you have set up the form 'submit' the complete PDF, but only if the document has been enabled for reader (Advanced > extend features in Adobe Reader).

  Using this method is far from reliable, since a lot depends on how the client machine is set up, which is really out of control from Adobe. A much more reliable approach is to submit the form data or the complete PDF to a web server, which must be put in place to deal with the presentation and do something with the data or file.

  1. the form is a form designer (sometimes referred to as a "XFA form") that contains an HTTP Submit or Email Submit button.

  2. the submit button works fine if the user has Adobe Professional (bundle incluting Acrobat and lifecycle designer products) installed.

  3. the submit button does not work if the user no longer has the Adobe Reader software installed.

  Our users for the first time this problem in October, and we tried to determine what has changed in our system to get there.

  The forms have been created using the designer of version 9.

  On Windows 7 and Windows XP test PCs we have tried different versions of drive X and get the same results with all of them.

  This seems to have been a problem installing with the reader.  We use a product called "Desktop Authority".    We are not really sure of what fixes the problem, but he ceased to occur after an upgrade.

  It may be related to a problem of firmware, but you can operate as follows:

• My hp Pavilion p6230y died. It will not start. The power LED button does not lite.

  The power supply is turned on, and all voltages are correct (measured). The fan turns on when you press the power button and I can feel the rotation of the disk and it's hot. I stripped naked essential system, nothing that the keyboard wireless & mouse, HDMI connector to monitor. I cleaned all the dust from the inside of the computer. I reinstalled the CPU chip. No beeps at all coming from the motherboard. The heatsink is stone cold. I suspect either chip CPU & and/or motherboard. Anyone have any ideas?

  Replaced the motherboard. Problem solved.

• When I type or paste a URL into the address bar or select a url from the address bar dropdow, the "enter" button does nothing. I have to press the green arrow to load the url?

• Install a CC button does nothing when clicked.

  I'm the admin for our CC for the team and I have a team member who has been licensed CC of Photoshop and InDesign CC but creative application cloud does not respond when you click on the button "Install".  Another weird issue is that CC all applications have the 'Install' button next to them, even if the user does not have the license for other applications.  I tried to have them leave the CC application, send them an invitation and relaunch the CC application does not.  They have also restarted their machine for the installation of CC.

  Anyone seen this before?

• RH 9 Server Web Admin's ' Sign In' button does nothing...

  Hi all. I experimented earlier with a RH Server 9 trial version.

  QUESTION: When I try to log on to the Web (photo below) administrator with admin/admin for ID/pwd, nothing happens when I click the Sign In button.

  Notes:

  • My computer says it's probably a problem on Apache side, since 3 different browsers show the same behavior. He is not sure how to solve the problem though.
  • I use the HR on a Win 7 VM server on my laptop Win 7.
  • The VM system has installed 6.0.41 Tomcat.

  Any thoughts on what might happen would be greatly appreciated.

  

  Fixed by Adobe hotline.

  The key is to ensure that JRE 7 17 update is installed, and no other JRE version/update is installed. The tech had me:

  1. Uninstall the existing JRE software (I had 8 JRE and a non updated 17 JRE 7, installed version).
  2. Uninstall Tomcat
  3. Uninstall the HR server.
  4. Install JRE 7 update 17.
  5. Install Tomcat
  6. Install HR server.

  I am now able to get the RHS administration Console.

• 'Option' BRAVIA Remote button does nothing?

  BRAVIA KDL-55W829. The 'OPTION' of the remote key does not seem to do anything / work. To change settings, etc., I have to go through the 'APPS' option, then scroll to the setting. There must be a faster and easier way?
