PPGK7A-0007GA-XD002J-C0EK03

My battery does not charge and has not for some time. He stopped to load all at once with no other effects.  I ran the test of the battery started twice and got two different codes.  PPGK7A-0007GA-XD002J-C0EK03 and PPGK7A-0007AV-XD002J-C0CN03. I want simething other than the replacement of the battery will be my solution. I've heard of similar problems, each had a different solution of its own. the charger works fine. Do you have never addressed this problem before. I hope you can help me. If this isn't the case, I want to say thank you in advance for your time and effort.

Hello

Checked the details associated with above errors and both codes refer to battery failure. In order to replace that will fix the problem.

    Greetings,

I have a Pavilion computer laptop product model VF836AV dv8t-1100 that gives me a failed hard drive IDS of RLL46J-53H6RP-XD002J-60SE03. Does anyone can interpret this code for me. I guess that the drive has failed and needs to be replaced, but I would like confirmation before proceeding with a replacement.

    Thank you for your time,

    Hello

Only HP has the software to decode these codes failure of 24 characters, but it will be either a Smart failure or disk Self Test - in both cases, this would indicate that hard is defective and must be replaced.

What I do for the error in the subject that I find in short dst? Product id wk571ea #abz?

    Hello

You are not limited to any particular drive manufacturer, the only point to keep in mind is not to install a HARD drive which is lower in quality than your laptop came with.  Your laptop is listed as coming with a 640 GB hard drive, but as there is no real difference in cost, you can thus install a 750 GB HARD drive and have a little bit of space - the player on the following link is an example that would be perfect for your laptop.

    750 GB hard drive.

You can also find the procedure to replace the hard drive begins on Page 47 of your & Maintenance Guide.

Once this is done, simply use your recovery DVD to reinstall the operating system on the new drive - this is described in the document of HP here.

If you do not have your recovery discs, you can order a replacement set using the link below.

    Order HP recovery disks.

If you have a problem with this link, order them directly from HP.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

    Hello

    You are welcome

You can buy a replacement from the store of parts HPbattery, but you may well find that you can get it cheaper from a retailer of 3rd party as in the example on the following link.

  • Administrator password problem

I have a HP Pavilion dv7 laptop running Windows 7.  I have problems with it starting and leaving me with a black screen with just my cursor showing.  I can't do anything with it.  I could get the command prompts at the start to where it gives me the opportunity to leave the computer to repair itself. However: when I click on it, it forces me to submit my local/admisnistrator username and password before it will enter the phase of repair.  I never put the password that I remember and we tried on every password that I can remember never use without result.  This is the first part...

I was able to get a screen that asks me to a self diagnostic run on the test at startup computer.  The result is:

    Memory test: past

    Smart Check: spent

    DST short: failure failure ID: RU63NO - 58H & 4 s - XD002J - 60XR03 product ID: WA794UA #ABA

Can someone help me with this problem.  I don't know what to do, and can't afford to take it to a computer specialist.

    Thank you

    Jack

DST failed message indicates the hard disk has failed or is failing fast and must be replaced. If you are still in warranty HP will send a replacement. If this is not the case, a laptop SATA hard detail can be used. Just be sure to get a quality at least equal the original in order to use recovery disks. It may be big, but not small ability more. For example, you have a HDD 500 GB so that you could use a 750 GB hard drive, but not a 320 GB hard drive.
  • Battery not in hp pavillion dv6-2174tx

I have a hp dv6-2174tx with no. WT464PA #ACJ and recently installed 8.1 windows 64 bit. I installed various updates from windows update, but my battery does not charge from 49 percent. It will show "connected, do not load", if I remove the charger, it will start to download and when I plugin it again once it still charge up to 49%.

I tested it using HP System Diagnostics in Windows 8, and the result was:

Primary: Replace (31) high school - not Installed (60)

    Failure ID: PQDAXH - A-XD002J-C0FH03-00075

Please could someone help me with the problem...

    Hello AK09.

It seems that you have a problem with the battery beyond 49% course, you run a diagnostic test and it says to change the battery. I suggest you contact the support to change the battery.

  • HP dv6-3042tx - replacement hard drive? Computer would not start after Windows update

    Hi guys,.

I'd love to help I bought a HP DV6-3042TX about a year and half ago.  I hadn't used for a while and when I turned it on, he had to do updates etc. for windows 7.  These all downloaded and installed.  However after they have installed I couldn't restart my computer.

I did a diagnostic boot test and got in return

    Memory test: PAST

    INTELLIGENT control: PAST

    DST short: FAILURE

    FAILURE ID: RLGD7S - 53: 662-XD002J-60QR03

    Product ID: WYRFSPA #ABG

    Hard drive 1

This mean that my hard drive is actually dead and replacement needs? If so is anyway to recover my files and what model of hard drive can I replace it with?

    Any help would be great

    Thank you

    Hello

The drive Self Test (DST) short error seems to indicate the hard drive is faulty and must be replaced.

Regarding your existing files, a possible way to try to recover your files from a disk non-boot is following the process described in the link below.  The CD of the Ubuntu operating system you create can run from the CD alone (IE it doesn't have to be installed on the hard drive) and I've often found to successfully extract data even a hard failure.  When you created the CD, follow the instructions and see if you can save your existing files.

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/use-Ubuntu-Live-CD-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-Windo...

Replacing the hard drive is a fairly simple procedure.

The player at the link below is an example of one that would be perfect for your laptop.

750 GB hard drive for laptop.

The procedure to replace the hard drive begins Page 55 of your & Maintenance Guide.

Once this is done, simply use your recovery DVDs to reinstall the operating system on the new drive - see here for more details.

If you do not have your recovery discs, you can order a replacement set using the link below.

  • Hard drive on HP G62-120EE failure

This is normally an indication that the hard drive has failed or is about to fail. Please save all important folders, files and data immediately (if possible). Then, create the discs of HP recovery if you already haven't. If you can not make a set of recovery discs, order from HP or a third party. Finally, buy and install a 320 GB or more 2.5 inch 7200 RPM SATA hard drive.

  • HP G62 hard drive failure

My HP G62 laptop not boot more. When I do the diagnostic test, he says that there is a hard drive with the ID of the fault failure: MCV9B3-53A5SC-XD002J-60U703. This means that the hard drive is broken and I need to buy a new one, or there at - it workaround?

    Thanks for the help!

    Bert

    Hi, Bert:

Sounds like the hard drive needs to be replaced.

You will also need a set of discs of recovery of re - install the operating system, but you must have exactly the model # order them unless you do a game when you got the PC.

  • HP Pavilion DV7 turns off suddenly when running

I sincerely hope that you can help me or point me please in the direction from where can I get support for this problem.

I bought a HP Pavilion DV7 - 3180us Entertainment Notebook to the United States in 2010.  I now live in England.

My problem is that my laptop keeps turning off randomly without warning.

Is my product number: WA718UA #ABA, my OS is Windows 7 64 bit.

I ran each test component (HP System Diagnostics), all items sent with the exception of the hard.

My test log shows the following error codes:

    PLQ36M-53L6M6-XD002J-Q2BX03

    PLQ36M-53L6M6-XD002J-61BK03

    PLQ36M-53L6M6-XD002J-61TT03

    PLQ36M-53L6M6-XD002J-61TT03

    PLQ36M-53L6M6-XD002J-60 CT 03

    My BIOS:

    F.1D, 10/05/2010

I bought and tried a new battery, but this does not resolve the issue.

(Any time), I use a Cooler Master NotePal U3 Laptop Cooler with fans positioned where my laptop gets hotter (down the laptop, when the laptop is in its normal in good position, the hot zone going from the upper left corner (about where is the power button), to down to about the caps lock key; the width of the side left on the F3 key). (This also does not resolve the issue.)

I'm looking forward to your reply.

Finally got support from HP (for some reason, my phone and my other half phone just kept to end the call when I tried to call, even if we had enough credit, could finally operate using Skype as Skype allows free 1-800 numbers even if you use Skype from the United Kingdom).

In case it helps someone else out there he said:

Only the fact that I have recently updated my BIOS would help with overheating problems. Any overheating problems that I knew could not be due to (for example) the motherboard or graphics card, etc. That it may be wise to have my radiator and fan replaced.

Mainly: (no surprises) should I have my hard drive replaced ($155 - $200).

For a person living in the United States the total costs (disk hard, heat sink and fan) would be $ 200 to $ 300 (cost of labor and shipping included).
