Practice of certification requirement

Try certification OCP 11g Database. So I am very confused as to what format of training will satisfy the requirement.

By http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/show_desc.redirect?dc=D50079GC20; Its only
instructor or instructor of this course online formats will meet the requirement of Certification practices. Free course study CD-Rom and Knowledge Center DO NOT meet the requirement of Hands-on.
This means only
Schedule/Purchase Training Formats        Price          Duration Course Materials Instruction Language
View Schedule       Classroom Training     US$ 3,250  5 Days    English             English
View Schedule       Live Virtual Class        US$ 3,250  5 Days    English
will satisfy the requirement?

Those on the bottom will not?
Schedule/Purchase Training Formats         Price          Duration         Course Materials Instruction Language
Purchase Online      Self Study CD-ROM    US$ 1,650   not applicable  English
Purchase Online      Training on Demand   US$ 3,250  5 Days            English
Can someone please check? Or suggest a person should I contact?

Formats that you listed, they will be meet the training requirement:
Classroom training
Live virtual class
Training on-demand (there is a new format of training. The course should be listed in the list of approved courses http://bit.ly/wyajDv.)

The study CD-ROM does not reimburse the training obligation.

  • VCP5 certification requirements

I was reading until you get the VCP, but can not get on the requirements of the class. It would be fine for a single class, but what happens when ESXi 6 comes out? What I need to take another 3K course, pay travel expenses and, as well as to pay for a new written examination certification of VCP6 updated? This can be 6K a pop every time VMWare decided to do a major revision of the change.

Can someone clarify what will be the requirements of cost when major changes of ESXi are available as 6, 7, 8,...?

My CCIE was very demanding, but at least after I got, I have to take another review written for a recert.

As long as the examination is offered you can always sit for him - for example the VCP4 is always available, so even if you take the class when he came out 3 years if you pass the exam you are a VCP4 -.

As long as the course is offered by VMware or a Vmware Authorized Training Center - if it comes in a class at a training centre or offered online or on-site by VMware Certified Instructor that satisfies the requirement to become a VCP.

  • VTC VCAP certification requirements

    Hi all!

Requirements on certitfication to VCAP-VTC on vSphere 5.1 consists of only one requirement: have a VCP5 VTC. It is logically.

But what I need to do if in August 2012, I already passed the VCP510 examination?

Do I need to review at VCP5-VTC and if yes, what is the significance of review a very similar review?

VCP510 is the examination for certification VCP5-VTC.

If you meet the requirements of VCP5-VTC training (as defined in http://www.vmware.com/go/vcp ) then you must already hold that certification and meet the prerequisites for VCAP5 - DCA both DCD (there is no VCAP-VTC).

  • Upgrade of certification required

    Hi all

I finished OCA in Oracle 9i.  I constantly get emails from Oracle that my certificate is invalid and ir needs an upgrade before November.

What is the procedure of it?

What are the tests I have to take for the gradation of high.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi all

I've updated the certification by writing IZ0-034 and completing a course among the courses provided by Oracle.

  • OCA certification - test sequence

The OCA Certification requires two steps:

    Step 1 -This exam.

    Step 2 -this exam.

Can I take an exam in first step 2 ? Then take a test in step 1, or SHOULD be taken in the order of 1 step 2 step?

I already studied for "11g program with PL/SQL 1Z0-144" and would make the road before taking an exam in the first step.

    Thank you for your help.

You can take the exams in any order.  The Oracle certification program will provide credentials when all requirements have been met - no matter the order in which they were welcomed.

  • 1Z0-804 certification without 1Z0 - 803?

I have a one year of experience in java development. Can I take a 1Z0-804 certification without taking 1Z0-803 certification?

When you register for 1Z0 - 804, the website recommends the first step as taking 1Z0-803 certification? Is this really necessary?

1Z0 - 803 and 804 - 1Z0 are review numbers not certifications.  Certifications require that you take one or more exams and meet other requirements (prerequisites, training, certifications etc.).

You can take the exams in any order you want.  You will get the certification when you meet all the requirements of the certification.  If you want to get the Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 7 Programmer certification, you must pass 1Z0-803 and 804 - 1Z0.  You can do this by submitting to the 804 first and the review 803 second but that does not seem particularly useful.  You can also get one of the certifications more early OCP SE6 programmer and then take the upgrade exam to SE7.

  • News on Oracle certification

    Hi there guys.

I did OCP 10 g Certification a few months back... Now, I want to make the Certifications for Oracle Database 10g R2: administering RAC & Oracle E-Business Suite R12. Is there any requirement for these exams? I will have to take courses for these certifications or can I give a review of course student?

    Thank you.

First of all, there is a Community of Certification where it would be more appropriate.

Second, assuming you're a DBA OCP (there are a lot of different OCP certifications) 10 g, you would not need additional training in the classroom in order to obtain a RAC ECO 10 g certification. There are a ton of different certifications of E-Business Suite so I don't know which particular talk and think. You can go to the website of Oracle certification for Oracle all certification requirements that you are interested in.

  • Is online VMware vSphere: what's new annex of courses to meet the requirements of the PCV

    Hey VMware education people.

I see there is a big difference in cost between the cost of training online and course VILT from Dell.  Is that self to the pace online, what new course meets the condition necessary to be able to take the exam VCP of vSphere 4 of 31/12/09, or we will have to follow the course of 'class '?  I took the two teams in class VI3, but have not yet taken of the VCP VI3 exam.  If I can take the vSphere 4 What's new online auto to the rhythm of the course to be eligible for examination VCP vSphere4 then that is what I would do.  Thanks for your help on this.

I just spoke with VMware education Services. The VCP certification requires that the instructor course. It can be in a classroom or online.  Courses online at the rate of the participant are not eligible for VCP certification.

OCP certification requires that you take the training course, the review itself is not.

There is in fact nothing prevents to register and sat (intl appearing English) review. But if you go you will not be certified until you take the training required and checked it.

    .....

There is no way of jump you training and still not awarded certification

I would have thought OAS is now replaced by weblogic and is in the twilight of his life. And there are probably decrease a number of courses for him... but you seems to be lucky...

My http://education.oracle.com inspection, there seems to be LVC for Asia online classes (Please check carefully to ensure that the classes are geared... ie not later version weblogic ones).

  • The requirement for the 1Z0-053 exam question

Recently, I took and passed my exam 1Z0-052. Glancing 1Z0 - 053; Oracle requires I attend one of their training courses. When I took my exam 1Z0-052 in the Center; one of the employees was trying to register for Oracle training. According to him, their classes meet the requirements of Oracle for exam 1Z0-053. However, the format of the class is different from the class, I took with Oracle University. (I had DB Oracle 10 g 1 Admin workshop with Oracle University - don't ask me why I didn't take the 1Z0-042 exam and finish on 1Z0 - 043; between work and life, the big procrastinator in me never capitalize on it).

Anyway, my question is, has this guy to the centre-right? If I attend their training courses; It will satisfy the requirements of Oracle for exam 1Z0-053? Has anyone taken training outside of Oracle University and Oracle 1Z0-053 satisfaction requirements? Or can you please show me the link or point me to the right representing Oracle who can answer that?

    Any information is appreciated.

Most of the information are generally available under http://certification.oracle.com with a bit of descent:

    The page key is:

    http://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-PLQ-dad/db_pages.GetPage?page_id=112

And you will need to attend one of these courses (advanced or specialty):

    http://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-PLQ-dad/db_pages.GetPage?page_id=244#5

Referring now to go back to the link above.

OU is always a safe choice, an OEAC should be safe, as long as they deliver a course under the ORGANIZATIONAL unit.

So, excluding Oracle Academy program of development of labour leaves leaves (WDP).

Sometimes it seems to me also possilble an OEAC can offer a course under (WDP).

... If you do the course in framework of the WDP, then the rules can be as follows:
-You are only allowed to make a maximum number of hours / week.
-You will need to make 11g DBA admin 2 or whatever they call it (I never go a lot on these names... a name can be manipulated, misused, abused, confused, misinterpreted and misunderstood in a misleading way).
-The quality of the teachng o n WDP can sometimes be much less than others.
-The course of the WDP will be generally much cheaper.
-Your contract with the Institute of the WDP rather than Oracle... is if something is wrong with your problem with the Institute of the WDP no Oracle. (This may also apply to o).
-I think with WDP you used to have to complete the DBA track all end to end, I think only a course (or 11(f) DBA admin I or 11g DBA admin II) is required.
-I recommend you to get in writing, not orally, of the Institute of the WDP class you have booked and paid for will satisfy the validitating cover the hands on training for Oracle 11 g OCP DBA Certification requirements.

Oracle WDP institutes must be identifiable here: https://workforce.oracle.com/pls/wdp/new_home.main

  • Request for clarification on the new Solaris Cert review requirements.

    Regarding:
Important changes to Java and Oracle Solaris Certifications
Architect Java, Java developer, system administrator Solaris and Solaris Security Administrator path of certification requirements, starting August 1, 2011, will include a new requirement of compulsory attendance of courses.
Candidates can obtain their certifications with the current requirements of the track available on the website of Oracle Certification through July 31, 2011...

    (1) http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=449

    (3) SCSEA/OSSESA 10 OCÉ Oracle Certified Expert, Oracle Solaris 10 security administrator: http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=330

Reference (1) seems to indicate candidates wishing to obtain the OSSA and OSSESA would need to attend two classes, one for each.
    - Or is that what someone already ASFS/OSSA would not attend an additional for OSSESA class (as is the case for 10 DBA OCP/PAP 10 OCÉ).
-If two classes are needed and a candidate has participated in the Solaris 10 OS part 2 System Administration which is a pre - req common for both exams, would be that monoclass is sufficient for two exams.
    ..........

From my point of view and I suspect many others are in my situation, having a 10 existing ASFS.
.... Does this mean that post July 31, 2001 it was desirable to acquire the 10 OSSESA a ECAS course so to must attend after that date?
.... Looking forward to Solaris 11; This average current holder of OSSA/ASFS 10 existing will be should he follow a course for the upgrade to what I guess is Solaris 11 certifications at any given time.

Thanks for the questions. I could get more details on this.

-If two classes are needed and a candidate has been involved in System Administration Solaris 10 OS part 2 which is a common pre - req for the two reviews, would be that monoclass is sufficient for two exams.

If a candidate holds certification of sysadmin (Sun or Oracle brand), they can get safety Admin certification taking the exam, without additional training. So, 2 possible paths to safety certification Admin will be:
-Oracle Certified Professional, system administrator Oracle Solaris 10 + Oracle Solaris 10 security administrator Certified Expert examination = Oracle Certified Expert, Oracle Solaris 10 security administrator
-Training course + Oracle Solaris 10 security administrator Certified Expert examination = Oracle Certified Expert, Oracle Solaris 10 security administrator

From my point of view and I suspect many others are in my situation, having a 10 existing ASFS.
+.... Does that mean that post July 31, 2001, it was desirable to acquire the ECO 10 OSSESA one course then to must attend after that date? +
+.... Looking forward to Solaris 11; This average current holder of OSSA/ASFS 10 existing will be should he follow a course for the upgrade to what I guess is Solaris 11 certifications at one point. +

If a candidate holds certification of sysadmin (Sun or Oracle brand), they can get safety Admin certification taking the exam, without additional training. This means that if you got your certification Sys Amin before the obligation of running training, your certification will fill always the prerequisite.

What about the next version of certification: in general, Oracle no training required for upgrades, so if you have the Solaris 10 version of certification (if you completed or not training), you will be allowed to upgrade to the new version with no training requirment. However, training is strongly recommended to help better prepare to review and also to better prepare for their role.

  • Guarantee that won't change the examination required for DBA OCA 11g

I'm about to take the exam 1Z0-051 - SQL Fundamentals in my path to the OCA 11 g certification. then I plan the training for 1Z0 - 052 - DB Admin I next Jan 2011 and will write the review more than dec 2011 if I can put the knowledge I have acquired training in real work situations for a year before the exam 1Z0-052. The problem is, is it possible (even remotely) which will change the examination required for 11g OCA in this period of one year? Say, as you have to pass 1Z0-047 rather 1Z0 - 051 for 11g OCA, thus renderring my pass 1Z0-051 worthless? because I don't think it's possible that I will get a refund. Oracle can guarantee, or Oracle can change requirements when they want as they are happy?
The reason why I take 1Z0-051 is first because I'm already pretty confident with my SQL skills, but not so much with my DB Admin skills since I just started to use Oracle DB. I used SQL Server for the last 3 years. Thank you

I can't guarantee anything unequivically, but we have radically would not change the certification requirements without providing options for candidates who are already on the path to certification. I can't predict this review being removed from this way, that this review has been developed for the path of the OCA 11 g. The other reviews that are alternatives to this review have been approved as an alternative, they were not developed specifically for the OCA 11 g review. I don't think you have to worry about this.

  • For the developer of the OCP, is it necessary to provide hands on?

I know that practical OCP is required for the acquisition of certificate, but have two questions:

    1. is it necessary for OCP developer to provide practice for the certificate?

    2. If so, is it possible for a reason any who, after appearing in the exam, as practice requirements expected to be completed?

    Historical context:

    1Z0-051: disabled

    1Z0-144: disabled

    1Z0-151: will appear soon

No - the OCP-level developer certifications do not have a practical requirement.

  • In the modern world today's Marketing, how can stand out you as a certified Eloqua "newbie"?

I really, really like Ahmad Eytan' discussion Eloqua wages & experience that it highlights the challenges facing modern Marketing organizations trying to hire the right person with the right skills AND experience to make a fairly immediate impact. He had me looking back at the time--way, way back - when I started as a Consultant Marketing Automation for Astadia, knowing very little about Eloqua, but with a strong background in marketing database, marketing communication, the customer service and sales soft (Yes, I wrote 'soft', 'social' as 'social' not has not been invented yet--at least not online social).

It started with a five-day immersion in Eloqua and then plunges us straight on working alongside our practice for missions of client Manager. We have rapidly graduated (or been thanked) at the main customer commitments ourselves. I learned so much, so much--more than I want to go right now and not roughly Eloqua - but the fact is, it took that I immerse myself in the experience (at least what I demanded of me).

Thus, in modern today Marketing environment, accompanied by a certificate of the Eloqua University a topical... (A small side bar here...) I would like to go on record as saying that I like very much the value of the Eloqua University and although there could be some improvements, it's never been marketed as ' all you need to do is get these certifications to earn 6 figures - unfortunately, that the fault is on the people who chose to be known this way after being certified). .

Well, back to the modern Marketing of today environment - after reviewing of Eytan, stimulating discussion - how can a 'newbie' certified Eloqua stand out?

NOTE: my definition of a "certified Eloqua newbie" is a person who now works for a client of Eloqua that met certification requirements Eloqua University but has little experience 'real world' in the execution of Eloqua. I am open to changes to this definition.

There are many things that you ("you" now refers to all beginners Eloqua certified) can do... Based on my own Type A self admitted trends of OCD, I think that we need a plan for success. As in "you build your own plan for success of"how to become a superhero Eloqua".» Top priority? A mindset 'always learning' - and perhaps total immersion - to the point where a day's work does not stop at 17:00 (or it is sufficient to say, your "day" job ends then, but your mindset 'always learning' and then goes into action and work into the night, creation/copy of key marketing use cases and work to solve for them in Eloqua).

I'm not giving any secrets when I share away this is how I did it - and it was not easy, but if it was - come on, everyone, say it with me - If that were the case, then everyone would be doing... And today, it's even easier then way, way back in my day - because today, you have the most amazing resource at your fingertips - Topliners. You get to pick the brains of some of the biggest space - leaders thought to those running require centers everywhere in the world and everyone in between - all with a few clicks on your keyboard.

I have complete empathy for you - I have been there and done this-- but an attitude "I want it all and I want it now" you will be pain if you try to increase your career from the only certifications. You need to do more. Perhaps, more is to create your own plan for success to emerge. Maybe it is something different, but in all cases, take what you have learned in Eloqua University and ON BUILD IT! This is an incredible Foundation to succeed - OPPORTUNITY TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE TO A POSSIBLY CHANGE! You know now that you're not deceive everyone being certified Eloqua newbie - it, that is, certified, helps a LOT - but you've learned to preach by example. And again, you are not alone in the construction of your walk - you have all of the Topliners community at your fingertips!

So, my friends Topliners, what other words of advice can add you to my rantings? How can we help many newbies Eloqua certified in our community and we hope to reach those outside it--to become the next superhero of the modern Marketing world? Or the less than non-so-desirable-to-hirable as a short term goal?

As always, I look forward to your comments! See you soon!

Oh, did you raise many good points. Not to take us off-topic, but I could rant all day on Eloqua consulting firms, which let employees at low altitude (Eloqua skill-wise) loose on customer projects. It just not fair for the employee or customer. There was a company that does this for me, a few years ago, and since then dozens of people asked me to their subject for reference.  Needless to say, they have never get a good me and probably lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in projects because of this. Not worth it in the long run to cut corners.

Back to the question at hand...

You really hit the nail on the head in many ways. Really it comes down to one thing: work. There are no shortcuts. Always continue to learn. Embrace every challenge Eloqua you can and never say never.  Never be afraid to err by asking something "stupid", or "stupid looking. I remember several times that I submitted Eloqua support tickets or tickets to other providers related to things that I was convinced were bugs/key issues. Turned out to be my mistake. But that's ok. You brush, straighten and learn from them.

And finally, be modest.  You will never know everything about Eloqua. Be willing to learn from others, knowing that there may actually be a better way to do something that you spent a few days or weeks working on.
