Dell Precision T3500 speaker internal
Hello
I just installed an internal speaker in my Dell Precision T3500. How to configure a Windows 10 system use this speaker? The internal speaker made reference to the T3500 product documentation, but I have found no documentation on how to make it work. I guess it's a cheap business speaker, so I know that the quality is not great. I hope just to a few basic out of it sounds.
Thanks in advance,
Rob
Until you install the OEM driver, it will not work. The oem driver install the ESP AUDIO Panel that "recognizes" the speaker. The generic Microsoft driver does not support the internal speaker of business.
AD198X and ANALOG Soundmax AUDIO must have AUDIO ESP to detect the speaker.
ESP AUDIO Control Panel Soundmax Applet which 'sees' the speakers and the headphones etc plugged into the audio codec or NOT.
The problem is that by default, windows 7 or 8 or 8.1 10 will use a generic HD Audio driver and therefore things like the internal affairs speaker will not work and soundmax Audio ESP does not exist.
The solution is to install the Dell driver and let windows update to decide if the driver needs to update whql.
It is a common problem. The function Audio ESP asking you what is attached to the port is not enabled in generic win7, win8, pilot win10. You will also need to install DOTNET 4.0 and Directx June 2010
Before installing this driver. You must also add the feature back for legacy Live Show on Control Panel. If you do all the right things in the right order, it will work. Control Panel, all the elements of the Control Panel, programs and features, windows features, turning on and outside
Then do the check boxes. You MUST BE online when you do this, because he lament not find features and who need to download them from windows update.

Dell Precision T3500 and SPDIF Port
Hello
I'm in the market for a new computer because my old HP died and I really like the Dell Precision T3500. I would like to put one of my old graphics card in the new Precision T3500, a Nvidia Geforce 8500 GT because it has a HDMI port on it and I want to drive my television station. However, have sound out of the HDMI on the Geforce port, you must connect an SPDIF cable on the Geforce to the SPDIF port on the motherboard. Is my question, there a SPDIF port somewhere on the motherboard in a Precision T3500? I looked but I have never seen a list of anywhere. Thank you very much for the help!
Chris
Hi Chris,
Thanks for looking in the Precision T3500 computer next and we hope that you don't end up buying one!
That said, I must not be the bearer of some bad news that this system is not equipped with an SPDIF port on the motherboard. A possible solution would be to buy a sound card has a SPDIF connection and then connect the graphics card to that. Of course, it would take one of your PCI/PCI-Express slots.
I hope that answers your questions - if there is anything else, please let me know!

Precision T3500, two case fans 80mm Arctic F8 down time of 81C at 70 ° C
Hello
I just replaced the CPU of stock in my Precision T3500, passing from an e5520 to 5660 x. Both processors will heat up beyond their TCase, 72 and 81.3 C respectively, values when you use the passive heatsync of Dell in copper stock. Y at - it an active heatsync available for this system? Heatsinc OEM installation uses downs bolt female rather than the male standard ones.
In addition, I notice a 5 c difference between my coolest temp core and the next coolest temp core and a 8 c split between my core cooler and warmer heart. Is this normal?
Thanks in advance,
SoC
Hello Chris,
Today, I received two 80mm Arctic F8 case fans with an adapter fan 3 pin molex. The difference in thermal performance is deep. I have attached four photographs, one of the fan box, one of the back of my case, one inside my case, the molex adapter, and a thermal profile up-to-date.
With the last test after installing fans, the system seemed to stabilize round 70 C. Although, I let only the test and monitor run for 15 minutes approximately.
I hope that this cooling method to others.
Thank you

I've temporarily removed the CMOS battery when I tried to start it earlier and I noticed that beside the system clock summer reset the RAID was not autodetect AHCI as I think it was before.
I posted in the forum before hardware but this looks more like some driver or settings problem I thought I'd post here instead.
Help, please!
Hi PMB2013,
First, regardless of the mode of controller was before this happened, make sure that it is defined in this way. If it was before RAID, set to RAID. If he were AHCI, switch to AHCI. The wrong setting will give you the same BSOD.
To check the integrity of the hard disk, please start on your Dell drivers and Utilities disc and run the Dell diagnostics on your hard drive. If the utility disk does not start or gives you the same error, access downloads and download a recent version of the media diagnostic utility to create a bootable flash drive, then run the diagnostics from there.

This - according to the internet - heavy CPU usage is healed by downloading the latest version from Intel.
However, Intel warns that manufacturers may have their own version. Is there a version of Dell's IAStorDataSvc.exe for 10 windows on the Precision T3500 series?
If so, where could find?
Reference Dell system detect doesn't seem to work properly.
Start by 9.6 and install as an administrator.
Go to the top until it says the version no.
Intel does not support the interactively ONE of these old software more on chipsets and systems of 8 years.
New version = less support up to = none = request denied.
The version of the IASTORE. SYS file windows 10 is 15 or more.
Old chipsets are NOT supported in the new versions of the driver.

Precision T3500 recognizes the new HARD drive
I have a new 4 TB Seagate hard drive that I'm tempted to install than the third HDD on my Dell Precision T3500 system. The BIOS detects the drive fine, but nothing in the operating system (Windows 7 64-bit) find it - no disk, Device Manager or Seagate diagnostic tools management.
Seagate support said the only thing that might be, is that my fast storage Chipset driver needs to be updated. It's a little out of my depth. I tried searching for a driver updated via the Device Manager, but it says my driver is up to date, but that date is 2010. I downloaded these files:
INTEL_RAPID-STORAGE-TECHNOLO_A07_R291721. EXE
SATA_DRVR_WIN_R264763. EXE
on the site of driver from Dell, but I'm not clear what to do with them.
SATA Operation should be AHCI and INTEL RST must be 10.1 or higher. OS must be the 64-bit version, you also need a series of Host Bus Adapter as the Rocket 600. That's what western Digital uses to resolve these problems. ACHI HBA is necessary. The rocket 620 HBA is a solution.

Intel RST replaces Intel Matrix Storage Manager. HOWEVER you cannot update to your hearts content of 7-8-9-10 11-12 or 13 etc. As newer chipsets and drivers get the older ICH5 6 7 8 9 etc. are removed from support.

IMSM = earlier Version of the driver.
IMSM is NOT EQUAL to INTEL RST
Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) version 9.6 and new records sector supports 4 k if the device supports the emulation of 512 bytes (512th). Intel® RST does not support size of 4 k of the native devices.
What happens if I try to use an older version of the driver?
If you try to install the operating system on a disk 512th with an older Intel® RST 9.6 version driver, the installation process could not complete. This driver is not validated with your XPS and may not work at all. There is ZERO support for it if its does not work. The INSTALLATION of THIS DRIVER if its does not work can lead to the loss of 100 percent of all data. Do so at your own RISK. Installing a version higher than taken chipset support does the same thing. All data lost RAID restart from zero.
If the operating system is installed, do not upgrade to Intel® RST 9.6 version without having to reinstall your operating system.
As the versions date back earlier support ICH Goes Down aka unsupported.

The GUID (GPT) Partition Table has been introduced under the initiative of the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI). Dell Precision T3500 doesn't work and fans of becomes strong :(
Hello
My Dell Precision T3500 work not at all,
When I run it, the CPU and the GPU fan fan becomes abnormally strong
And nothing happens on the screen
And I have this error (3-4) on the front of my case code
in the user manual, this represents a failure of memory
but I checked all components
RAM-power - GPU - CPU
It's all the worknig on my other computer Dell PrecisionI need help :(!
If the memory is good, and the processor is good, after having tested on another machine, your motherboard needs to be replaced. Part of the problem may be the processor slot or maybe it's the memory slot (because the first location NEEDS to be filled, it does not matter if the first location is only bad or if they all failed at the same time - if one does not work, no one else can be used)... whatever it is, the only difficulty you a new motherboard.
If you cannot start your system, you can't Flash your BIOS.
One last thing, you might try... Remove ALL (readers, cards, extension, mouse, keyboard, etc) the system except for the processor and a barrette of memory in the first place.
Try another "last" thing... clear BIOS/memory NVRAM. If there are no jumpers on the motherboard, and then disconnect the system, remove the battery, hold the power button for about 10 seconds, replace the battery, plug in and turn on.

Precision T3500 CPU upgrade to X 5650 - need help
Course I have possession of a Dell Precision WorkStation T3500
Running on a Xeon W3520
I recently got a Xeon X 5650
On the permutation of the cpu, I get error not running code PB7 "BIOS".
In terms of display "amber light and 2,3 & 4 flashing lights."
I have the motherboard XPDFK and 12 GB of ram DDR3 1333 installed the plant.
I'm trying to determine if it's a compatibility problem, dead CPU or motherboard problem.
I also note that I installed the original once again chip, and I use the same machine to write this post. This leads me to believe that I have not damaged the plug in the process.
I'd go 6-core, but if it is simply not possible on this motherboard, I'd be happy with quad.
Any help or advice would be useful.
With being a single CPU socket socket T3500 machine, single Xeons are generally cheaper by the performance that the processors Xeon supported configurations dual socket (as the X 5600 series).
For 6 core, W3670, W3680 or W3690 processors are processors single socket with similar performance (in single CPU mode) for X 5670, X 5675, X 5680 and X 5690, but they usually cost less, or about the same price for better performance.
W3670 3.2 GHz 6 drivers go for about $95 on ebay right now. W3690 3.46 GHz 6 drivers around $195.
These should be faster than a X 5670 of 2.93 GHz. X 5670 TDP is weaker, although (95W vs. 130W) - don't know if it matters - may require an upgrade of cooling.
That said, seems X 5670 in 9KPNV T3500 works. See here, which also has a long list of compatible processors for the T3500 at the beginning of the thread.

Installation card mother Precision T3500 in a new chassis?
I do up to an old T3500 and want to make use of coolant, of course I'll need to buy a new case and transfer the motherboard in it, but the motherboard does not seem to be a full-size ATX and wonder what the actual size/design of the motherboard (takes into account screw hole?) so I can buy the bargain that is supported on this motherboard?
We discussed this quite a while. The power on button being the only thing 'important '. However I think that the heat sensor for the Board of Directors is also on the front panel so I doubt that it is a 'solution '.
It may not be 17 and 20 May to 19 and 23 or is it 4 terminals 17 and 23?
Disclaimer clause, it may or may not work. I'm not ready to ruin a Board to see.
. As with most Dells there is an owner of the front panel and 20 pins or more ribbon cable.

Dell Precision T3500 does not start
I have Dell T3500 Office, I pressed the Start button and the lamp on the Start button began to blink for a few seconds with a noise of power supply (SMPS/PSU) and 1 and 3 flashing and lights out. During this time I have observed that the power supply fan GET making small movements but does not turn the LED on the motherboard (orange) lights. I tried to start again and again, it does not work.
Is this because the PSU become defective? or simply a RAM issue? I removed the RAM cleaned and then re inserted but it went past too to no avail. Can someone help me please to solve this?
Flashing power button / stop Amber is bad food.

Where can I find which Intel chipset is used for my Precision T3500?
I have upgraded to Windows 10, only now to find that the T3500 is "untested for Windows 10."
Technology Intel Rapid store takes up 30% of my CPU quad.
Downloads of Intel RST all depending on which Intel chipset or on the motherboard. Speccy tells me that the chipset is Intel X 58, rev. 22. which does not match all chipsets listed regarding RST downloads.
The Intel Chipset ID utility is not for 64-bit, so I can't use it.
If it's important, the Southbridge is Intel 82801IR (ICH10R)
Short to open the case and read the chip ID, how do I find what chipset I have?

Precision T3500 1-3 green lights + no start
Hello!
My T3500 does not start, Ive had this problem before and it started working again after I just took the PSU and reconnected all the internal cables.
Symptoms:
Solid amber light shows, psu clicks once mobo and the front fan almost begin to turn, and briefly, a green light flashes on the mobo but no dΘmarre, when I press the button of automatic test.
Shows Green 1-3 on the front panel lights when you press the Start button. No light on the power supply when the self test button is pressed, there is no error beeps. Last time this happened the PSU shone less green, but not this time.
I bought a new power supply, but I get the same thing that above lights green 1-3 etc and tried all disconnect and reconnect one at a time as before.
My son where playing games to computer for a few hours before he died and it was getting very hot, can the mobo or cpu burn? I never had problems of heat or any other error before blue screens.
Now, I suspect the motherboard but I do not know how to test that or how you could tell if the mobo has failed.
ID really grateful for the help!
Little by little...
Yes, you will get this error message if the SATA (SATA Mode) operation is wanton in the BIOS configuration.
And make sure that the battery on the motherboard is good too.

When possible, it is recommended to use double DIMMs in the system. DIMMs double row offers better interlacing and therefore better performance than simple row DIMMS.
For example, a system filled with six tidy double DIMM 2 GB surpasses a system filled with six 2 GB single row 7% for SPECjbb2005 DIMMs. Quad-rank DIMM will cause the speed of the memory to be down-clocked DIMMs double row is also better than quad-rank DIMM
Another important principle is to fill the equivalent ranks per channel. For example, mix a single row of DIMMS and a double DIMM in a channel is not recommended.

V313w... will not print black ink
Hey people... my Dell V313w three-in-one printer does not print black... According to the printing preferences I tick the box 'print using only color ink' to get black ink print. The default is "Print using all available ink"... When this is checked, ink black is not printing, only the color. The black ink cartridge is NOT empty. I see via google and other online forums, the problem of no black ink printing is common with this model of printer. There is no pop up indicating errors or messages. No message on display at the front of the printer. I do not use any device to print wireless... I have a USB cable for data transfer. Any ideas?

Jimmy,
You can try...

Solving the problems of print head on the Dell V313w V515w, V715w, P513w and printers P713W AIO
I usually recommend shaking the cartridges Dell series before putting back them in place.
The printer does not recognize the cartridge ink, or only in one colour prints
If it was the cartridge supplied with the printer, it may be possible, the cartridge may have dried up inside or the sensor has failed.
