Dell Precision T3500 speaker internal

Hello

I just installed an internal speaker in my Dell Precision T3500.  How to configure a Windows 10 system use this speaker?  The internal speaker made reference to the T3500 product documentation, but I have found no documentation on how to make it work.  I guess it's a cheap business speaker, so I know that the quality is not great.  I hope just to a few basic out of it sounds.

Thanks in advance,

Rob

Until you install the OEM driver, it will not work. The oem driver install the ESP AUDIO Panel that "recognizes" the speaker.  The generic Microsoft driver does not support the internal speaker of business.

AD198X and ANALOG Soundmax AUDIO must have AUDIO ESP to detect the speaker.

ESP AUDIO Control Panel Soundmax Applet which 'sees' the speakers and the headphones etc plugged into the audio codec or NOT.

The problem is that by default, windows 7 or 8 or 8.1 10 will use a generic HD Audio driver and therefore things like the internal affairs speaker will not work and soundmax Audio ESP does not exist.

The solution is to install the Dell driver and let windows update to decide if the driver needs to update whql.

It is a common problem.   The function Audio ESP asking you what is attached to the port is not enabled in generic win7, win8, pilot win10.  You will also need to install DOTNET 4.0 and Directx June 2010

Before installing this driver.  You must also add the feature back for legacy Live Show on Control Panel.  If you do all the right things in the right order, it will work.  Control Panel, all the elements of the Control Panel, programs and features, windows features, turning on and outside

Then do the check boxes.  You MUST BE online when you do this, because he lament not find features and who need to download them from windows update.

  • Dell Precision T3500 and SPDIF Port

    Hello

I'm in the market for a new computer because my old HP died and I really like the Dell Precision T3500. I would like to put one of my old graphics card in the new Precision T3500, a Nvidia Geforce 8500 GT because it has a HDMI port on it and I want to drive my television station. However, have sound out of the HDMI on the Geforce port, you must connect an SPDIF cable on the Geforce to the SPDIF port on the motherboard. Is my question, there a SPDIF port somewhere on the motherboard in a Precision T3500? I looked but I have never seen a list of anywhere. Thank you very much for the help!

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for looking in the Precision T3500 computer next and we hope that you don't end up buying one!

That said, I must not be the bearer of some bad news that this system is not equipped with an SPDIF port on the motherboard. A possible solution would be to buy a sound card has a SPDIF connection and then connect the graphics card to that. Of course, it would take one of your PCI/PCI-Express slots.

I hope that answers your questions - if there is anything else, please let me know!

  • Dell Precision T3500 doesn't work and fans of becomes strong :(

    Hello

My Dell Precision T3500 work not at all,

When I run it, the CPU and the GPU fan fan becomes abnormally strong

And nothing happens on the screen

And I have this error (3-4) on the front of my case code
in the user manual, this represents a failure of memory

    but I checked all components
    RAM-power - GPU - CPU
It's all the worknig on my other computer Dell Precision

    I need help :(!

If the memory is good, and the processor is good, after having tested on another machine, your motherboard needs to be replaced.  Part of the problem may be the processor slot or maybe it's the memory slot (because the first location NEEDS to be filled, it does not matter if the first location is only bad or if they all failed at the same time - if one does not work, no one else can be used)... whatever it is, the only difficulty you a new motherboard.

If you cannot start your system, you can't Flash your BIOS.

One last thing, you might try... Remove ALL (readers, cards, extension, mouse, keyboard, etc) the system except for the processor and a barrette of memory in the first place.

Try another "last" thing... clear BIOS/memory NVRAM.  If there are no jumpers on the motherboard, and then disconnect the system, remove the battery, hold the power button for about 10 seconds, replace the battery, plug in and turn on.

  • Dell Precision T3500 does not start

I have Dell T3500 Office, I pressed the Start button and the lamp on the Start button began to blink for a few seconds with a noise of power supply (SMPS/PSU) and 1 and 3 flashing and lights out. During this time I have observed that the power supply fan GET making small movements but does not turn the LED on the motherboard (orange) lights. I tried to start again and again, it does not work.

Is this because the PSU become defective? or simply a RAM issue? I removed the RAM cleaned and then re inserted but it went past too to no avail. Can someone help me please to solve this?

Flashing power button / stop Amber is bad food.

  • Precision T3500 recognizes the new HARD drive

I have a new 4 TB Seagate hard drive that I'm tempted to install than the third HDD on my Dell Precision T3500 system. The BIOS detects the drive fine, but nothing in the operating system (Windows 7 64-bit) find it - no disk, Device Manager or Seagate diagnostic tools management.

Seagate support said the only thing that might be, is that my fast storage Chipset driver needs to be updated. It's a little out of my depth. I tried searching for a driver updated via the Device Manager, but it says my driver is up to date, but that date is 2010. I downloaded these files:

    INTEL_RAPID-STORAGE-TECHNOLO_A07_R291721. EXE

    SATA_DRVR_WIN_R264763. EXE

on the site of driver from Dell, but I'm not clear what to do with them.

SATA Operation should be AHCI and INTEL RST must be 10.1 or higher.  OS must be the 64-bit version, you also need a series of Host Bus Adapter as the Rocket 600.  That's what western Digital uses to resolve these problems.  ACHI HBA is necessary.  The rocket 620 HBA is a solution.

If you try to install the operating system on a disk 512th with an older Intel® RST 9.6 version driver, the installation process could not complete.  This driver is not validated with your XPS and may not work at all. There is ZERO support for it if its does not work.  The INSTALLATION of THIS DRIVER if its does not work can lead to the loss of 100 percent of all data.  Do so at your own RISK.  Installing a version higher than taken chipset support does the same thing.  All data lost RAID restart from zero.

64 bit OS is required for readers more 2 TB

INTEL RST over the 10.1 version is required for larger than 2 TB drives

    http://knowledge.Seagate.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/218615en

Like other types of software, the Intel RST drivers are updated to keep pace with new technologies. Intel drivers, found in versions of the retail of Windows 7 have a limit of 2.2 TB. Rather than cutting capacity to 2.2 TB, the limitation is expressed like the rest above 2.2 to. In other words, the driver causes the windows operating to see a 3 TB drive 746.52 GiB (or 800 GB).

With OS two 32-bit, the start address of length and partition partition are stored as 32-bit quantities.
Because the block size is 512 bytes, this means that neither the maximum size of a partition
Neither the maximum start address (both in bytes) can be greater than 2 ^ 32 × 512 bytes, or 2 TiB

    http://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/hardware/gg463525.aspx

The GUID (GPT) Partition Table has been introduced under the initiative of the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI). The maximum size of the partition (disc) is a function of the operating system version. The original version of Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP have a limit of 2 TB per physical disk, including all partitions. For Windows Server 2003 SP1, Windows XP x 64 edition and later versions, the maximum raw score of 18 exabytes may be supported. (Windows file systems are currently limited to 256 terabytes each.)

  • Installation card mother Precision T3500 in a new chassis?

I do up to an old T3500 and want to make use of coolant, of course I'll need to buy a new case and transfer the motherboard in it, but the motherboard does not seem to be a full-size ATX and wonder what the actual size/design of the motherboard (takes into account screw hole?) so I can buy the bargain that is supported on this motherboard?

We discussed this quite a while.  The power on button being the only thing 'important '.  However I think that the heat sensor for the Board of Directors is also on the front panel so I doubt that it is a 'solution '.

    Hello Chris,

Today, I received two 80mm Arctic F8 case fans with an adapter fan 3 pin molex.  The difference in thermal performance is deep.  I have attached four photographs, one of the fan box, one of the back of my case, one inside my case, the molex adapter, and a thermal profile up-to-date.

  • Precision T3500 CPU upgrade to X 5650 - need help

Course I have possession of a Dell Precision WorkStation T3500

    Running on a Xeon W3520

    I recently got a Xeon X 5650

On the permutation of the cpu, I get error not running code PB7 "BIOS".

In terms of display "amber light and 2,3 & 4 flashing lights."

I have the motherboard XPDFK and 12 GB of ram DDR3 1333 installed the plant.

I'm trying to determine if it's a compatibility problem, dead CPU or motherboard problem.

I also note that I installed the original once again chip, and I use the same machine to write this post. This leads me to believe that I have not damaged the plug in the process.

I'd go 6-core, but if it is simply not possible on this motherboard, I'd be happy with quad.

Any help or advice would be useful.

With being a single CPU socket socket T3500 machine, single Xeons are generally cheaper by the performance that the processors Xeon supported configurations dual socket (as the X 5600 series).

For 6 core, W3670, W3680 or W3690 processors are processors single socket with similar performance (in single CPU mode) for X 5670, X 5675, X 5680 and X 5690, but they usually cost less, or about the same price for better performance.

W3670 3.2 GHz 6 drivers go for about $95 on ebay right now.  W3690 3.46 GHz 6 drivers around $195.

These should be faster than a X 5670 of 2.93 GHz.  X 5670 TDP is weaker, although (95W vs. 130W) - don't know if it matters - may require an upgrade of cooling.

That said, seems X 5670 in 9KPNV T3500 works.  See here, which also has a long list of compatible processors for the T3500 at the beginning of the thread.

    Help, please!

    Hi PMB2013,

First, regardless of the mode of controller was before this happened, make sure that it is defined in this way. If it was before RAID, set to RAID. If he were AHCI, switch to AHCI. The wrong setting will give you the same BSOD.

To check the integrity of the hard disk, please start on your Dell drivers and Utilities disc and run the Dell diagnostics on your hard drive. If the utility disk does not start or gives you the same error, access downloads and download a recent version of the media diagnostic utility to create a bootable flash drive, then run the diagnostics from there.

    Hi chubbant,

    Try resetting the CMOS battery.

Now try to boot in the BIOS. Restart the computer and press F2 on Dell logo. Under the heading "Disks" disable the SAS controller. Now click on 'Apply' and get out.

If the steps above does not work, move the hard drive to a SATA optical and 1 to SATA2.

I did research on the internet and find that it looks like this can be done by using a Port Replicator, but it seems that those who run more than $200, and I think I would have a hard time getting my company to approve that.  Is it possible that this can be done using a kind of dispatcher (VBA-> 2 x VGA Splitter, or using the HDMI port)?

I found some discussions about it on the internet, but some speak only to duplicate the single to multiple monitors output, which is not what I want.  Many of these items were laptop specific, so I don't know how that would apply to my specific model.  So I thought that the best place to ask would be the Dell support site.

    Thank you

    Hi JoeLBS,

Thanks for your question. DisplayPort is another standard to connect screens. Here's more about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DisplayPort

A DisplayPort to VGA adapter will work for you that should a HDMI to VGA. Here is an example:

Would be happy to hear from you on the result of your choice.

  • Precision T3500 - upgrade to use Windows 10: 32 percent CPU Intel Rapid Storage (IAStorDataSvc)

This - according to the internet - heavy CPU usage is healed by downloading the latest version from Intel.

However, Intel warns that manufacturers may have their own version. Is there a version of Dell's IAStorDataSvc.exe for 10 windows on the Precision T3500 series?

    If so, where could find?

Reference Dell system detect doesn't seem to work properly.

Start by 9.6 and install as an administrator.

Go to the top until it says the version no.

Intel does not support the interactively ONE of these old software more on chipsets and systems of 8 years.

New version = less support up to = none = request denied.

The version of the IASTORE. SYS file windows 10 is 15 or more.

Old chipsets are NOT supported in the new versions of the driver.

  • Satellite A350-how to disable the speaker internal while external speaker jack

    Hi all

Anyone knows how I can cut the House speaker while connecting to the external speaker?
I want to use my laptop in libuary, but when I plug in the headphones, the speaker still his, when I put in muted, the speaker and the headphones the two silent.
How can I configure the silent speaker, while external speakers can only keep silent?

    > Knowledge how can I mute the speaker internal while connecting to the external speaker?

I guess you have a Realtek sound card and Realtek HD audio Manager should appear in Control Panel.

Please check this Realtek HD audio Manager.
The speakers on the right tab, you will see the options analog & digital.
Right click one of the option and check if you could see a few options that provide a framework in order to mute the speakers.

You will also see the option called: the advantage of the device settings.
    Check this box too.

PS; my laptop automatically the internal speakers if the headphones have been connected.
I read in other threads that update the audio driver might help too, but first test the settings as mentioned above.

  • x 8 connection distance MXI causes conflicts with my on my Dell Precision T3600 PCI slot

    Hi all

The easiest to say is that I am migrating from a x 4 MXI explicit connection to an x 8 MXI express connection and when I do I get an error on the motherboard which is unable to load the single PCI slot.

Error in WIn7 64 bit Device Manager reports a yellow exclamation point

    Device "Intel (r) 82801 PCI Bridge - 244 properties"

The error listed in the device status box: "this device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) »

Unfortunately, I need this slot machine to run a card calendar to conjucton with PXI hardware. There is no anomaly when I used the x 4 connections with virtually the same loadout except for one Exchange a PXI-5122 (x 4 config) to SMU 5122 (x 8 config).

If I leave the MXI PCIe card in but do not connect to chassis PCI slot SMU (and the fine card appear.)

If I remove the PCI card into the slot, the error still occurs.

I swapped the x 8 card and NVidia graphics card without success (the 16 x only two slots).

I photographed the reader and removed the H310 Dell PERC RAID card and charged the RAID array RAID integrated Intel C600 and still no change.

I have updated BIOS to A07 to latest A08.

I updated the Intel Chipset at the latest on the Dell Web site.

I guess that I just wonder at this point if someone is able to run a x 8 MXI express at SMU with a Dell Precision T3600, T5600 or a T7600 chassis.

NI MAX report is attached as a text file.

After much work by NI Applications Engineer Kyle K, this problem has been resolved.

I'll post the solution to this PC dependent problem here, just in case it will help others in a similar situation.

It seems that Dell sometimes uses one default BIOS quite restrictive on the number of PCI bus in these (and other). By allowing several PCI bus, you will be able to list all the devices in the sacrifice of some memory available for OS 32 bit running on 4 GB of RAM. No problem for me because I'm under 64 bit OS.

Congratulations to Kyle even if he has not posted here yet for him give real congratulations.

  • Card PCI-6259 is compatible with the Dell Precision 390?

    Hi all

I need help in answering this question.  I want to buy a better computer for my data PCI-6259 acquisition card.  I tried to search to see if the card is compatible with the PC and there's previous numbers with this set-up before other users.  Do you have a link to the list of the DAQ cards with tested PC configurations?  I want to just make sure that when I buy the computer, everything will work without problem because I only have one shot at this.

    Thanks to all in advance.

    Kind regards

    justdomechanicalengineering

    Hello

We do not have a link to specific DAQ board/PC pairings, but the specifications for the Dell Precision 360 indicate that she has three ports PCI 5V which must be compatible with your PCI-6259.
