PrecisionHDMC camera could not be upgraded

Hello.

We have replacement camera failed on SX20 with a 'new' using the RMA procedure. It comes with FW FINAL S01777 - 2.0 (released in TC6.1).

Codec has already last TC7.3.4 FW installed and after connecting the camera, she starts to upgrade (30-40) and cycling permanently in that State. Do we not have to downgrade the first to TC6.1 (TC7.1) to switch to the last camera FW?

Thank you.

Marcel

The camera must be able to upgrade, see nothing in the release notes which mentions that you have to upgrade in a way.  However, you might want to try and get off at TC6.3 when the next version of the firmware came out and then move on to software TC7.  If for some reason you can't get the camera to upgrade at all, suggests you reach out to the TAC engineer you transformed your RMA and it can help or submit a second RMA.
