Premiere Pro: Bad made

Hello

I have a problem of rendering.

My rendering window (pause mode en) does not offer a good return regardless of the format of the sequence (even in automatic selection according to a camera rush). See Figure 1

The problem is spreading to the final rendering that has the same problem but only on some elements of the video (ex: insertion of a redimenssionnee in my main video video, or a PNG logo itself also redimenssionee) see Figure 2

  • Premiere Pro 20141 made slower?

Everyone is made slower with 20141?  My hardware (PC) used to render my sequences in real time, but now they take about 2 X in real time.  I have the same GPU NVIDIA I've had before, have updated the drivers and PP said he will use it, but I see no activity on it now.  It is difficult to compare because I can't go back until 2014.  I have the time even if I render to SOUL in line to wait or do totally in PP.  I'm tempted to go back to CC (pre-2014) and making comparisons, but have not yet done.

Thanks for the thoughtful response.  I thought I had scored my issue 'resolved' little time after I posted it.  I don't think that there is a change now.  The monitor that I had used to display using GPU has stopped working (probably due to a change by NVIDIA) so it looked like the encoding was not witnessed.  Once I got a usable monitor, I have seen that uses the GPU in 20141.  In terms of time spent, I am still trying encoding real time with some settings, but when I encode to more outputs, there is less help.  Could have been true before.  Basically I'm happy now.

    Hi Clubmudge,

Works fine for me. If you have already restarted your computer and Premiere Pro, you can try to reset the preferences. Let us know if it works for you.

  • Bad Audio. MTS files Premiere Pro CS4

Hello, I have looked around and have not been able to find that everything related to this post. I am importing a 29.97 AVCHD 1920 x 1080 .mts video shot on a Sony FS100 into a 1080 p AVCHD 30 sequence in Premiere Pro 4.2.1. Everything seems fine, except that the red bar made appears and the audio is nothing but really bad static. If I make the work area he plays very well except for the audio (still static). If I play the video in VLC, it plays very well. Even with Final Cut Express import via the log and transfer (intermediate apple) - looks and sounds great. But I can't do anything but bad static in Premiere CS4 and After Effects CS4.

  • Premiere Pro: Don't plays no chronology, not made the full sequence, stalled on an image

    2013 iMac / / 10.9.3 / / Premiere Pro 2014 (last updated) CC

I was edit a project for a few days, and he started just send me questions about my last run through it, before exporting.

I've dealt with a lot of problems with PP before, but I honestly don't know even what is happening right here. I can't identify the problem. It seems to be a number of things. I started with the update of PP and CUDA. Nothing. So I continued.

    (1) I had problems of rendering, so I thought that I would like to remove the preview files and start from scratch. When rendering the entire project, it get to about 60%, then stop and hang there. After five minutes of watching him, I leave PP. Even if it would look as if she left, he would always run in the activity monitor and the little light below in the dock would be, so I have to force quit.

    (2) it's weird because the place where she stops rendering is the sport where, if I scroll the timeline, the program window will freeze on a picture. So no matter how I move the playback cursor, it will appear not all executives. Neither the sequence will play at all after that. So, I leave again.

    (3) I went back to another project and all rendered what he - fine and dandy.

Why it gives me such a problem? If someone needs something else for me to properly diagnose this, please just tell! Thanks for the help.

Sorry ' end offset in time. Our new company has begun its first major project and as the geek tech for the photo-la part of it, been a little busy.

So there is clearly a problem with the project receiving file corrupted, but... when it hits the images he choked on before, she choked again. There is some sort of glitch here that has to with PrPro interacting with these files. I was wondering if a header file somewhere has a figure that may confuse PrPro or something? I remember a few questions of a similar nature people possibly involved sending a little unpleasant images to an Adobe employee, which sting through the scenes and found something that was not exactly what he might better have been in a header or something. Altered, PrPro & footage loved each other once again, everyone else happy. But it's the kind of ish that we need experience... and I have none.

He had moments also where people have divided a project... right on the edge of the problem. Three pieces in its projects, the separate project files. First part of 'good' and render out as a separate project. Next project, the images "murky" who worked in itself, as again his own project and returned on. Then the part final & as serene, even once. I heard about these two taking those in QuicktimePro (if appropriate codec) and unite in one continuous piece, I also heard people who took PrPro three projects that had been made to separately (if I remember one was probably about six parts, a long guy & complex) and brought these rendered parts back to make a final project with everything in it. Actually, there are a number of those who have shared their most important projects into large pieces, which is done separately, then combined in a final project of PrPro for final polishing at their normal work habit.

    Best wishes...

  • Import of projects from Premiere Pro 2.0 in first CS5.5 - bad results

    Hello people,

I'm planing to upgrade my Premiere Pro CS5.5 2.0. I try the test version that I like very much.

But I have problems when I try to work with my old projects.

Indeed I can import (copies of courses) in the CS5.5 whithout any problems. But all the sequences that once consisted of many clips and titles are now only a single strip of monolytical in the timeline panel. This is the whole movie, but no clips or other components are more visible.

I need to see everything as it was during development, not only something like the final version.

I read several threads in this forum on open issues / inport. But they all sounded like they concerned about more basic steps.

I can do imports, but the result is poor.

Does anyone know the thing I have to apply - or is that really what Adobe calls "import"?

    Best regards to you all

    Trombach

Double click on the sequence imported into the timeline panel. As they have been published, which will open the timeline with all the clips.

  • Premiere Pro 2015.4 Mov format color is destroyed

    Hello

I use the MOV format uncompressed for intermediate files in Premiere Pro.

After the 2015.4 update that I installed last night, now all my MOV files make bad Color in Premiere Pro only.

Something black in the frames is lit in blue, and there is no green, so the videos are mainly red/purple/blues with the solid blue wire for blacks.

Even the thumbnails are confused in this way.

MOV files read perfectly with correct colors in other applications on the same computer, including After Effects, Photoshop, and VLC Player.

This bug made all my existing video content is totally useless.  :/

    Any ideas?

Does anyone else have this bug?

    David

"Uncompressed mov"... uh, how do produce it these files? Just curious... say the codec parameter uncompressed YUV 10 bit or something?

There are changes for Qt files in the latest version as Adobe strives to eliminate the need for the Qt program due to security problems that Apple has declined in favour of this codec in Windows. I've seen a few threads where people need to uninstall Quicktime from their computer to make things work correctly, because this version has apparently not need Qt play/encode files Qt so... try uninstalling Quicktime...

  • Premiere Pro uses all resources

There is a lot to consider here, but when I visited, only about 50% of the CPU is used, while close to 42% of RAM.  However, there are a lot of hardware specification I should mention and rendering settings as well, on top of all the effects that I've applied, then let's go through each of them:

    Material:

    5960 X CPU

    2 x NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970

    32 GB DDR4 RAM

256 GB Samsung 850 Pro (Premiere Pro and other programs installed here)

1 TB Samsung 850 SSD Pro (film Source layer and rendered output)

Now, we must also mention that I used an After Effects composition that I've linked in Premiere Pro that I THEN modified with SpeedGrade.  None of the pictures was made in this process.  So back on the effects that I applied.

It is a 1.21 GB, 6 minutes, 1080 p, shooting video AVCHD in 59 FPS which has been modified with (it started in After Effects) corners, slightly corrected with optics Compensation, and then had a Compound Blur (blur Maximum set to 2.0) applied to him, all these effects for the duration of the 6 minute video.  Yes, it sounds like a large number, and it is.

That After Effects composition has been linked in first and then open with SpeedGrade, where all kinds of ranking makes me, by stresses to shade and saturation.  Then, he was referred to first.

So naturally, after all that, no matter how good my material, I was expecting a long render time.  What I wasn't expecting a 50% CPU usage only and nearly 42% of RAM of its use.  I did not follow the GPU activity during these renders.  So, which makes me wonder, what are my export settings and which programs are using the CPU?

It was exported directly from within the new version of first CC 2014 (there is no update available).  I essentially corresponded to the source in everything (I was exporting no audio either) and did not "Use restore maximum quality" checked.  Isn't that 1 pass and flows have been set a target of 10 Mbps and a maximum of 12 Mbps.  So these are the export settings, but now, we need to know that I put the software to use.

Seeing the Task Manager, even if I export from Premiere Pro, since nothing has really been done to images in Premiere Pro, After Effects takes the largest part of the CPU, to 45% while the first takes up the other 5%.  So I look at my settings memory and multiprocessing, I even if I understood it, to see that I set them as follows:

    U8OgPM1.png

I tried messing around and changed a lot of these different settings, but I have not seen much difference.  However, there are many combinations that yet, I have to try.

I know that the time for export will be long.  But, given all the above, why only half of the CPU used?  I know that the 8 is half of 16, as you see above (which seems to be a hint), but change that number to something lower did not alter the use of the CPU, I don't understand.  If I have to give an estimate, it takes probably about an hour and twenty minutes to export what I mentioned above (which is not too bad of a time given all the effects that I applied and it was exported to 59 FPS).  So, to sum up, are there other settings I should change to make more computer resources are used during the export process somewhere?  What don't get me?

Multiprocessing AE is processing several frames and not multithreaded like many believe. AE threads on as many threads as systems manage to the limits of Windows for a group of processor. However, the treatment several frames is much more aggressive and regular application where permitted. Otherwise AE will simultaneously be multithreaded on 1 or 2 frames against multiple images for each instance.

  • Premiere Pro export takes forever! Even with CUDA enabled! Help, please!

I am a sequence in first pro CC which is 1 minute and 40 seconds. the details of the sequence are:

    • Video files Blackmagic Pocket film camera ProRes HQ
    • lugins used for color grading on separate clips (as a comparison between the ranks of different color of the same clip) - convert movie, Magic Bullet Looks and three different LUTs
    • I added a box to the letters 1:2.35 on top of all the clips
    • In each clip to identify what plugin or LUT is used for each shot, I have added a little text

Here are the specs of my computer:

    • Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (service pack 1)
    • Dual core AMD APU A4-6320 with graphics Radeon HD (overclocked to 4 GHz)
    • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2 GB (overclocked)
    • 8 GB GDDR5 RAM 1600 MHz (such as two 4 GB sticks)

    Premiere Pro export settings:

    • H.264
    • 1920 x 1080 (1.0 progressive and square pixels)
    • 23.976 fps
    • Profile: high
    • Level: 5.1
    • Go to verified maximum depth (prores HQ bmpcc gets 10-bit)
    • Pass VBR 2
    • Bit rate = 30 target
    • flow rate Max = 40
    • Use disabled previesws because I have not been made in the workspace to verify it would not make much difference)
    • Made maximum use quality - I tried this checked and unchecked with the same time of export for both (I have read the forums where this should be disabled if you have the MPE CUDA enabled in Premiere Pro, because it is heavy CPU, but then some forums say always leave on any - which is really confusing)
    • I'm exporting to a hard drive with 7200 RPM

Those 1 minutes 40 seconds sequence takes about 40 minutes to export which is too long. \I really need help understanding what the problem is and why export takes so long. Thanks in advance

What I've read above on these forums is that AMD chips lack any set statement that like the first, and that hurts performance.

I read that too, and when I looked at the instructions mentioned, they were available in the new amd fx chips. the main problem for instructions is amd doesn't have a boost intels 32bits single thread. Intel has been very wise to make a unique help for former thread programs of 32 bits. the real advantage for users is that works of boost for the sloppy, 64 bit programs as bad coding in the adobe software. what it boils down to is intel offer superior performance, but at a higher cost to match. I recommend intel and amd if budget requires.

  • Premiere Pro performance suddenly slowed to be almost unusable, even for simple projects

I'm running latest Premiere Pro update on a late 2013, 27 "iMac, with a processor 3,4 GHz Intel Core i5 with 8 GB of RAM, Mac osX version 10.9.5.  I know this isn't a lot of RAM, but until last week, or so I was able to amend a 4 K an hour with this configuration, as long as I ran the first session in resolution of 1/8.  He dropped some frames if I tried to play a long piece of it without stopping, but it is achievable for editing purposes.  But in the last days, the session has slowed to the point where he begins a picture of serious loss from the time I press play and is basically unusable.   He deposits also audio, and I can hear readers clicking frantically as soon as I touched the game.   My support is on 2-TB G - readers connected through USB3.

    What I've tried so far...

-Ran the diagnostic on readers and it found no errors.

-Tried to link the project the identical files on the backup drive.  The same problem.

-I made that energy saver settings of my Mac have been fixed so that readers will never sleep.

-J' deleted all media caches and the preview files of first that I could find.

-J' I reset the privacy settings of Spotlight so that they index not only some folders on the internal drive and external drives.

-J' made sure that I got to spend the maximum memory (6.5 GB) at first.

-Finally updated my software to the latest version first.

None of these things made the difference.

    - Then I thought that maybe the session came from is too big and bloated for my system to handle.   So I made a new project and import a simplified version of the only sequence that only refers to some of my files video color corrected.  This way I don't have to have an external drive connected and the session refers to much smaller files.  Still no improvement.

-So, I tried an experience where I made a whole new project and sequence.  I imported only 5 video files in it.  The biggest file less than 3 GB.  (I do Protools editing on this computer with files much larger than this, on the same type of readers extermal, without any problem at all.)  With only a single 5 video (and audio) in the timeline panel, it always starts up frames after about 2 seconds.  If I put another clip of 5 seconds in the timeline, the abandonment of the frame gets twice as bad.  If I try to put a video on them crossfade, playback becomes jerky that is very bad.

So basically, I started to be able to change a 60 minutes long 4K video project with video transitions, and multiple video and audio tracks.  (It was not perfect, but it is achievable).  And now all of a sudden, I can't play a whole new session which has 5 small video clips in there and not audio.    This isn't just my project or sequences that are the problem.  First just seems more to be able to access and read my media with any speed.

What Miss me?  Can you give me some additional suggestions to try that I have already mentioned above?  (And Yes, I know that many of you guys probably consider my hardware configuration completely insufficient for what I do, and you're probably right.)  But it did work pretty well for me up to this point.  I'm so close to the end of my project and I'm really just trying to get back to functionality, that I had a week ago, so I can finish).

I would like suggestions.  I feel like I'm running out of things to try.

After a lot of troubleshooting, it seems that the problem is related to the corrected version of the color of my video not being able to reproduce quite quickly.  While my system had no problem with the camera raw 4K files, the number of colors increased color corrected Pro Res versions are just too much for my readers to read in real time, even at low resolution.   Unless I want to do considerable ameioration (which I did not), the solution is to keep my color corrected without video corrected colors stacked on each other in the timeline and to turn off the video track containing the color corrected ones.  Of course, I can turn the color corrected piece when I need to check something with it, but for the playback feature when editing, I'm limited to files camera raw.

He is obviously an imperfect solution.  But because I'm basically done editing and just need to do some title and a small cut, I can finish the project works this way.

By the way, technical support suggested major improvements to my memory and video cards.  But if I were to try to resolve this further, I would upgrade to a better system RAID before I would make additional upgrades on my mac.  It feels really more likely it is the main issue here.

  • Premiere Pro won't unzip in Quicktime lossless

Here is a link to a compressed video clip produced by Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 via Media Encoder. The link takes you to a download page of Google Docs.

    https://docs.Google.com/leaf?ID=0b-ytQ6uGyvnPM2IyNWJhMjYtZDFkYS00NWU1LTlhZjQtNDczOWYwMjZiY WEy & hl = en

The problem is to know how to convert this file into an acceptable format for a bluray disc Replicator, which has also a bluray authoring easier.

The clip comes from a plu rendering of a length of more than 5 hours documentary. This clip is a little more than 20 seconds. He was cut by the largest documentary video produced by Media Encoder, the Cup was carried out using tsmuxer. This clip contains details of rich fine text fonts. When this is played on the PS3 the text reproduced very well and is readable. The problem is that the factory said that this compression codec is not supported by one of its software, so the documentary file can not be read and processed. He suggested decompression of quicktime or avi, its software that can read and process. When I unzip the text appear unreadable in Quicktime 7 Pro or Microsoft Media Player, as well on Windows Vista.

    Here are more details.

I made my documentary project using Media Encoder ' H264 Bluray". The factory says that Sonic Scenarist used for the creation of this compression States Media Encoder cannot be understood. It is not a valid stream bluray or any type of flow that Scenarist can understand. The factory also maintains that he can use Cinevision do any compression from uncompressed media.

    I have therefore 2 options.

First is to find a method of compression in Media Encoder that maintains the text as it is readable and that compression is readable by Scenarist and Cinevision.

Second continue to try to produce a file unzipped to Cinevision.

The nature of the clamp and the project is high definition PAL 1920 x 1080 25 frames per second, as I said this is supposed to be a bluray h264 video stream but is not, maybe BDAV, BDMV rather than and the former is only suitable for duplication not replication and replication is the only method for the reproduction of a commercial scale.

I also add here decompression Quicktime settings trying to get Media Encoder to decompress its own compression. So the output of the proposed amendment was then brought in another project of Premiere Pro, the sole purpose of the project is decompression.

    Download.html.png

It is in fact a copy of a notice on how to implement decompression. So ignore the file name.

The symptom of a bad decompression is that when I play the file in quicktime format uncompressed in Quicktime 7 Pro on Vista with hardware acceleration enabled in preferences and with maximum buffering of the text is therefore more readable. A snapshot of the video the compressed tiff is readable, so the compressed input file includes data here. Appearance corrupt in Quicktime is identical to one aspect of the freeze frame on the Playstation 3, that is to say that when I play the clip compressed on the PS3, the text is readable until end of clip that how the PS3 continues to show the end frame, the individual end frame is not readable but looks the same as the animated clip decompressed during playback to QuickTime. This may be a clue. Decompression may be actually OK but Quicktime just not anime images correctly.

Another point is that the compressed video does not correctly animate on the PC either, you have to play on the PS3 for it to animate properly. Then unzipped the files not recognized by PS3 avi and quicktime.

I tried various other cuts of Media Encoder for this part of the project, there is no other compression settings that keep the text legible, not that I can find.

I also tried to make the change directly in quicktime chilled out but that was a complete disaster, totally distorted Media Encoder documents that are displayed in the documentary.

The reason why I have provided the clip is so that you can download yourself and work directly on it yourself to test theories you have and to study its properties.

Good luck and thanks in advance!

  • Degradation of JPEGs imported into Premiere Pro CS4 in steps

For this I downloaded 2 JPEG files, I don't know if the scale applied by the forum software is just for display in the message, I hope that JPEG files can be downloaded as they have been downloaded.

In any case, I make a documentary, he made abundant use of computer images captured in JPEG format using the Microsoft Vista cutting tool.

The first JPEG is a real snip, while JPEG was introduced in Premiere Pro CS4 and I did another captures the workspace.

It's progressively worse within the PrPro.

PrPro window in the top center shows how PrPro JPEG format after importation.

    This shows a degradation.

PrPro window top right shows how PrPro JPEG format after the addition of the sequence on the top layer of video and it has more degradation, in particular it vertically down by comparison with the first of these 2 screens.

When I do a test of the 1 4 seconds of this sequence generation, the JPEG is unreadable.

It is perhaps in part because of the square pixels computer video versus PAL rectangular pixels, but I don't think it's history because of the increase in degradation. The ability to present with 1.333 pixels using rather than the square does not solve the problem.

I used Windows Movie Maker and Windows Live Movie Maker to create JPEGs which this JPEG video files and basically what they translate with only a tiny decline, output files .wmv 1080 HD, Movie Maker gives only intertwined but Live Movie Maker gives progressive, so I think.

If you import these .wmv files and place on the top layer of the sequence that they also get murdered in PrPro.

Tool Vista capture is to save JPEG files as RGB 24 bits and Gimp color evoke the color in sRGB profile.

Is it possible to get RGB JPEG processed correctly in PrPro?

    Thank you.

    XDCAM-ex, 24.4 fps, 1920 x 1080, 50 Hz.  -Once again, language prob... It's 24.4 fps?

Download bad example? looks intertwined for me (50 Hz), but I'm a little confused because I do not work with pal and do not (your) language. How you can know more than one language is beyond my comprehension!

Anway, was this snack one mistake and you are really going to use progressive? You can download jpg of this progressive file info if it was a mistake?

progressive should say something like "fields = no, no field, progressive, or square pixel.

lets get this project directly first defining... cause, you might be better to create your project settings "custom / desktop" instead of a "Preset"...

especially with your video in 1920 x 1080 instead of 1440 x 1080... you want to make your project, 1920 x 1080, 1440 x 1080 anamorphic and not.  But first lets be sure if your video is interlaced or progressive you want in the project... then you will make the project to match images and then after that in the face of AN image and you should be set to go
