  I'm a 3D room Builder. The user places around the scene 2D Sprites and my script converts these Sprites Papervision3D DisplayObject3D objects. I have problems with the positioning of 3D object because the Sprites have their upper left registration centres and 3D objects have registration centres at their Center. How can I do this conversion?

  Not AFAIK in FrameMaker.

  But in Acrobat, set the initial view one Page instead of continuous.

  File > properties > Initial View.

  

  Two upward (direction) and two up (cover Page) would also work.

  I have to deal with a large number of files that will be trimmed router which requires very precise benchmarks.  There are 2 different brands, should be used.  The first brand is at the top left of the image contains 2. 25 "points vertically separated by a gap of 1".  The other brand is a. 25 "brand which is bottom right, top right and lower left corners.  I have these two marks registered as symbols (or HAVE just the files).  I want to be able to have the script to automatically place the marks in the corners.  How is that possible?

  I have spend FrameMaker 10.0 to 10.0.2 this weekend and was able to print a test page with registration marks. Today, I can't. The page size is larger than the document. The message "registration marks are outside the page size" appeared once.

  My book is 3.5 "x 6" and the Format > Page Layout > Page size is 8.5 "x 11". The print driver is Adobe PDF. Western brands are turned on.

  I'm doing something wrong?

  When rendering to PS or PDF with regs, I suspect that the size of the logical paper must be set larger than the page size of the FM document.

• When I scan documents with HP Photosmart 7510 ADF, how can I stop the pages to be marked?

  I use a HP Photosmart 7510 (model No. C311a, product no. CQ877B)

  When I scan documents using the automatic document feeder, they are more often (80%) marked left.  It seems to be caused by the wheel which initially grabs the book.  It provokes a black spot of the width of the wheel to be left on the page.

  The mark appears about a quarter turn to the bottom of the page and is about 1/2 cm in height, but is very sensitive.  Sometimes, another brand is left a little further down the page and sometimes these two brands are accompanied by a very reduced, but still noticeable grey banner (again I believe caused by the wheel).

  The brand is very visible not only on the scanned now but also (of course) in the pdf file that result, and since I'm on this printer for things like job applications, it's not big.

  Other people know about this?  If Yes, is it possible to fix it or must return the defective printer?
