Preview Handler error in Outlook 2013

So I installed the new version and now Manager of previews PDF stipulates that there is a display of the error and the custom n e-mailed a PDF attachment.

Suggestions as to how this can be corrected.

Looks like a reboot of the system has done for me - thank you.

  • Acrobat Preview Handler Windows Server 2012

We have installed a Windows 2012 standard virtual terminal server for a customer. He now has Acrobat X and XI Acrobat installed to try to solve the problem of preview handler.

When you select a PDF file to see a preview, Windows displays an error message on the taskbar indicating:

    "An internal error has occurred."

This error also occurs when you try to preview a PDF from Outlook or MYOB 2013.

I looked at the registry fixes for previous versions of Windows/Acrobat to fix the Manager, but as the registry concerned chages were made for setup of Acrobat X, they are not applicable to this situation. With the help of a third party Manager previews PDF is not an option for the customer.

The preview handler seems to work correctly in a 2012 server environment that is running the Terminal Server services.

It is probably related to the question that Acrobat is designed to run on a single machine. If I understand the process, the user tries to run on the remote machine and the display fails to function properly. I'm not sure I can solve this problem (for example, I have really no idea other than the issue of the single machine). Perhaps it would be better to just install a second copy of Acrobat on his laptop or whatever for use. The license allows 2 copies if they are not used at the same time.

In regard to Technical Support, you could get one of the Adobe staff be spent, but it is on an ad hoc basis. Years ago, when they don't quand ils ne laissent leave no fall and then they have a flurry of activity at other times. Maybe other users (he is a user forum) can light based on their experiences. I hope that your description of the problem is sufficient for those who are running virtual systems.

  • PSE10 Outlook 2013 - Photo Mail can't find E-mail association

I have Win 8 64 bit (updated Win 7 64-bit), Outlook (Preview installed on Ourlook 2010) 2013 and 10 of PSE.

When I try to use the share > Photo Mail, I get an error message:

"There are no e-mail program associated to perform the requsted action. Install an e-mail program or, if such is already installed, create an association in the default programs control panel. »

After you click ok on the windows looking for the message box, I get a message to post-secondary studies:

«Organizing elements could not finish creating your email Message.»

Please make sure that Microsoft Outlook is selected for the default mail program in the Internet Control Panel, and that all the dialog boxes in Outlook are closed. If this is the first time that you use Microsoft Outlook, run the Outlook application and completed its process of implementation before sending a message through the organizing elements.

You can also use the e-mail Service to Adobe through the elements Organizer Preferences dialog box.

I have the elements pointing to Outlook preferences. When I pass the preference shares in Windows mail, I get:

«Organizing elements could not finish creating your email Message.»

You can also use the e-mail Service to Adobe through the elements Organizer Preferences dialog box. »

I checked the default programs, and Outlook 2013 all type of associated file and protocols it underlined. (a PC Dr. started after resetting the default settings)

    Then, either:

-I'm mising a difficulty with the upgrade to Win 7 64 bit with PSE10 to win 8 64-bit or

-PES is looking for a specific Protocol in the default program as MAILTO (but not this one because it is pointed at outlook) which is missing.

O does anyone know a fix or what protocol it seeks?

Well, the problem seems to have been cured. Not really clear what has changed.

But to help the picture messaging or attachment (with Outlook open 2013) and electronic mail appears as new email Outlook and good to send.

    Two interesting things that happened:

I have Outlook 2010 open and tried to open 2013. Error - an another outlook is already open. Error cleared, closed O2010 and open in 2013.

The first one that worked, I was actually busy compiling an e-mail separate, so that the mail has been opened.

When I compile in EPS, I do not select a recipient. In the new window of mail electronics outlook. (tried it with the selection, still works, bt is worth a mention)

The good news, PSE10 works with Outlook 2013.

But do not know how to overcome the problem I had, but keep train, it will work.

  • Emails from storage for the POP3 account folders 2012 WLM to Outlook 2013 POP3 only creates empty folders in the wrong email account

NOTE: We have already been asked to come on this forum by Office 365/Outlook 2013 support, so don't tell people not that go back us!

    1. we are under W7 64-bit SP1, run WLM 2012 32-bit and 32-bit Outlook 2013 both installed on this system.

    2. we have a POP3 account set as DEFAULT account in WLM 2012 with old messages in different folders to storage.

    3. we have a POP3 account, which is defined as the DEFAULT account in Outlook 2013.  (But we also have an outlook.com account.)

    4. we try to migrate messages in the WLM 2012 storage folder named 'A book' in Outlook 2013.

    5. we followed the instructions in various other forums support and information pages of Microsoft as follows...

    6. with WLM 2012 and 2013 Outlook both running in WLM 2012 we:

    a. Select "File" (really just a down-arrow in the upper left corner)

    b. select «Export emails»

    c. then select "E-mail."

    d. Select "Microsoft Exchange", and then say 'OK' in the popup window that says that this move Outlook email, etc.

    e. then we click on option button "selected files".

    f. then we click on 'A book', which is a subfolder or storage of our WLM 2012 POP3 account folders.

g so we say 'OK' and 'Finish '.

    7. for our tests, there are only 3 message in 'A record '.  After we get the message that the export was finished, there is no error message, so he seems to think that everything worked OK.

    8. However, the net result is that a folder named "Folder A" has been created in our outlook.com account (incorrect account; the account POP3 and NOT the default account) AND the folder is empty, containing no message at all.

We also tried a different folder in WLM 2012 which has been directly added to the POP3 account, instead of lying in "Storage folders" of WLM, but the result was the same.

There are thousands of e-mails concerned here.  We NEED to somehow get this export/import of working for us before we can migrate Office 365 WLM 2012 / 2013 Outlook.

Remove the outlook.com e-mail account, and then confirm that MS Outlook works correctly with his pop e-mail account.

Then in WLM run the export again process.

Exported messages should appear in the MS Outlook Inbox

    For the address

    Calendar support

You will need to first install Thunderbird as a mail client, and then install this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/lightning/

  • Receive user winmail.dat Outlook 2013 files

I get a user Outlook 2013 running Windows 7 Professional winmail.dat files, so I can't display attachments he sends me, especially on the iPhone, but on Mac too. And I don't want to have to download special software to open them.

What should I tell him? Because its COMPUTER support is just blame us, saying that it is a problem at the end of the recipient. And all the support articles that I find are pre-2013.

Very simple - the following error message appears when I open a new tab with a web page or empty:
EXC in ev handl: error: Bad NPObject as private data!

Please see the solution in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions
    "McAfee Site Advisor.

(Windows): for best results, you need to uninstall McAfee Site Advisor from Control Panel > add/edit programs (programs and features). Restart the system. Then http://www.siteadvisor.com/ reinstalling and reboot the system. Installation of other waste (crapware) suggested applications.

  • EXC in ev handl: error: Bad NPObject as private data!

Just updated to FF 3.6.23. Running on Vista Business Premium. Now, whenever FF navigates to a new page, it displays this error message: "Exc in ev handl: error: Bad NPObject as private data!" with a button to be clicked before the page OK takes over. ALL PAGES.

    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions

  • I get this error message and Firefox does not start... EXC in ev handl: error: error definition property on NPObject!

Firefox does not start and this message keeps coming back... I uninstalled and reinstalled... but nothing helped...

EXC in ev handl: error: error definition property on NPObject!

Disable the extension "McAfee Site Advisor" who has just updated 3.4.0 that probably out of block of addons list.

    • 'Ctrl + Shift + A' > find McAfee Site Advisor and use 'Disable', and then restart Firefox.
    • Do a Google search without problem
    • It seems that if you re - enable new Site Advisor and restart Firefox you agree. At least you know where to look if you get the error again, or research on Google to slow down.
  • I get the context menu after using firfox as my browser: Exc in ev handl: error: Bad NPObject as private data!

In the last few days I've been doing the following popup when I use firefox as my browser: Exc in ev handl: error: Bad NPObject as private data!

I guess it comes from your last update. I have windows vista with a 64-bit processor, and I use the latest version of firefox. I checked to see if I was getting the same error message with explore and I'm not. It seems to be some sort of conflict with java script. This can be corrected?

You have to remove and re - install anything. I had the same problem and simply disabled the McAfee Siteadvisor module without deleting. I then restarted Firefox and the problem was solved.

But here's the important part: I reactivated the add-on and then restarted Firefox twice. The problem is not returned!

Just so disable, reboot, re-enable and restart. It worked for me!
