Print head (?) Squeak during printing

I have a new HP Officejet 6500 a Plus.  Looks like the draw of head (or something else) is squeaking when printing.  Everything works fine, but I'm afraid that the grinding will be followed by a breakdown.

How can I know what is the Squeak, start working and fix it?

Thank you.

I spent an hour on the phone with HP India (or elsewhere) this morning and the end result is that I'm getting a new printer.

  • Header Message-ID vs. Message-Id

    My code saves the message ID and the other headers of incoming e-mail messages. Recently, I changed the IMAP server which I read incoming messages. When I did, about 20% of the messages have "null" for the message ID.

    I discovered that some of the messages had a "Message-ID" header, while others had a header 'Message-Id' (the only difference being the case of the last letter in the name of the header).  So now, my code looks like this:

    String ID = null;

    String [] idHeaders = message.getHeader("Message-ID");

    If (idHeaders! = null & & idHeaders.length > 0)

    ID = idHeaders [0];

    on the other

    {

    System.out.println ("\"message-id\"en-tete not found during the conversion of the message; try \"Message-Id\ "". ");

    idHeaders = message.getHeader("Message-Id");

    If (idHeaders! = null & & idHeaders.length > 0)

    ID = idHeaders [0];

    on the other

    {

    System.out.println ("no message ID header found during the conversion of the message; generate an artificial valve. ») ;

    IObjectRetriever < String > idRetriever = getIDRetriever();

    ID = idRetriever.retrieveObject ();

    }

    }

    As you can see, I first have to verify the existence of the 'Message-ID '. If there is not, so I check for the 'Message-Id' header

    I looked at what I think is the source code for javamail to https://java.net/projects/javamail/sources/mercurial/content/mail/src/main/java/javax/mail/internet/InternetHeaders.java, and it seems that the header names matching is case-insensitive. So although I found a solution to my problem, I don't understand why it is necessary.

    I think that the server is interrupted.  Please report this bug to the server provider.  Here is the proof:

    You score 1 message as it is deleted:

    A8 STORE 1 + FLAGS (\Deleted)\r\n

    * 1 FETCH (FLAGS (\Deleted))\r\n 137047 UID

    A8 OK STORE completed.\r\n

    You ask to fetch the header Message-ID message 2:

    A9 FETCH 2 (BODY. PEEK [HEADER. FIELDS (Message ID)]) \r\n

    The server tells you that the message 1 has been redacted.  This is unusual.  You asked not be disbarred.  Maybe another customer caused his being disbarred?  In any case, message 1 is now gone, and the message 2 is now 1.

    * 1 EXPUNGE\r\n

    The server meets your recovery, but has provided no data on the Message-ID header:

    Fetch completed.\r\n a9 OK

    'Message-ID' header was not found during the conversion of the message; try the 'Message-Id '.

    Ask yourself now fetch the header Message-Id of the message 1 (used to be the message 2):

    A10 FETCH 1 (BODY. PEEK [HEADER. FIELDS (Message Id)]) \r\n

    This time the server detects a message header:

    * 1 FETCH (UID 137048 BODY [HEADER. FIELDS ('Message-Id')] {92} \r\n

    Message-ID: +15129999999.53e291ead3414829cec759b46c5b9ead2c60b9e1@incoming.com> \r\n

    \r\n

    ) \r\n

    Fetch completed.\r\n A10 OK

    Maybe the server bug is a race condition because of message 1 being written off as you ask for the header.  My understanding of the IMAP protocol, is that, until the customer has seen the EXPUNGE response, the request message numbers always refer to messages that existed before the EXPUNGE.  Thus, the server should have sent information about the message 2.

    I suspect that, in this case, if you asked twice just for the same header (with the same case), you would be managed the second time.  I doubt that it is really a bug to distinguish uppercase / lowercase.

    Note that, before the light of the foregoing, you asked the envelopes for messages 1 and 2, and the server returned them properly, including the ID of Message values.  A you have used the getMessageID method, you would have gotten the correct value.

    where should I call the get_line., in my script, I started after the loop as above

    Immediately after open from finifile is a good place:

    ...

    fINFILE: = UTL_FILE. FOPEN (vINFILE_PATH, vINFILE_NAME, 'R');

    -The first line always is a header, to be ignored

    UTL_FILE. GET_LINE (fINFILE, vINPUT_REC);

    ...

    Or you could do later as immediately before the LOOP.

  • fill with links on websites that have nothing to do with this Web site

    Words are underlined and provide links to Web sites that have nothing to do with the site I'm. So I get a pop up video advertising that started the same time these links that presented themselves. How can I stop this?

    You can have an unwanted extension that injects these ads sites. Try this:

    Disable all non-essential or unrecognized extensions on page modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

    In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off.

    Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

    Which empty ads?

    Note: If no delete button for an extension, you can usually uninstall via Control Panel, uninstall a program. I suggest clicking on the column heading "installed during the" group by date to see if all the grouped items dragged to your computer during a recent free software install.

  • ICB cannot link static lib VS2010 files

    A whole new file static lib created in VS2010 Express hat the following content:

    StaticLib.h:

    call __stdcall void (void);

    StaticLib.c

    __stdcall Sub call (void) {}

    VS2010 compiles this as a c file. It is already ensured by the end '.c', but to be sure, I use the compiler option/TC.

    All other options to their default values. I compile using "Release | Win32. "

    The created lib file is copied into a new CVI folder, as well as the header.

    Two files are added to the project.

    In addition, a main.c is created with the following content:

    void main (void) {call() ;}

    The compilation attempt is abandoned with the following error message:

    Incorrect header encountered during playback of external module: 'Release\StaticLib.obj '.

    Aborted charge of Member "Release\StaticLib.obj" of the library 'c:\C90\LibImportTest\Release\LibImportTest.lib '.

    Is it possible to reuse the static lib files compiled in VS2010 with CVI?

    If Yes, please show me a minimal example.

    (please do not post suggestions about the dll)

    I tried with CVI 2012. I think it's the setting of the project 2010 VC: Configuration Properties > General > Whole Program Optimization use link Time Code Generation that is causing the problem with CVI. Change this setting to 'No Whole Program Optimization' and CVI 2012 is able to bind the file lib VC 2010 for me. Hope it's the same problem for you. Otherwise, try to change the other VC optimization or the language settings in the project properties dialog box.

This isn't a corrupt executable.  Downloads and runs correctly in XP SP3.  In Windows 7, it will drop immediately with a message window back "program too big to fit in memory.

    Solved my problem.

    I tried to download the installer with 3 different browsers... ie, firefox, chrome... even with the three results.  Tried to download with AV (bitdefender) disabled... same result.
    Finally I aircrcrack setup of kies for my samsung tab, renamed the kies_ * .exe to kies_ * .zip, emailed the zip on my computer laptop windows 7, renamed the file to an exe, run the file... success!
    Windows 7 (implementation network or security), (or maybe something in bitdefender), is clearing of the (probably the header) file during the download process.

    I would certainly come from SAs for some assistance, they should be able to spot something at a lower level / side storage, have an audit of the PDF file & run the dbv and validate.

  • Random call symbol

    OK - sorry, I'm sure it's very simple, but I don't know how to put in place. I have several animations converted into symbols and I want the composition to call one at random on load. These will be animations page header and my intention is to use the same composition on every page that draws an animated header randomly during the loading of the page. I did it with Flash using Actionscript, but don't know how to code it out on board.

    I don't know how is your publication, but suppose you have symbols appointed symbol_1, symbol_2 etc...

    You can add randomly to the next step and play their chronology.

    var myVar = Math.floor ((Math.random () * 6) + 1);

    var point = sym.$("Stage");

    var myAni = sym.createChildSymbol ("Symbol_" + myVar, "stage");

  • 7520 new stuck in the installation phase. Print head move load ink cartridges

    I'm stuck in the new phase of printer configuration. After running through the commissioning of questions and I opened the cover to charge the ink cartridges and the print head did not move. I ran across several reset process... Unplug the printer. Wait 60 seconds and plug it in again. Browse the configuration... Unplug the printer... more.

    This printer does not seem to be any cartriages.

    Hey JohnTT,

    Sometimes, these printers come with packaging that holds the printhead completely to the right at the gas station.  This avoids damage to the product during shipping.  You see all plastic parts orange that it may contain in place or Blue Ribbon?

    So, have you tried the carriage to the right hand?  Can it be moved or is it blocked?

    If the printer still will not release the print carriage after the power cycles and move it by hand, then I suggest you return the product and return to the retailer of purchase or by calling the HP Technical Support to see about a replacement.  The phone number for the USA / Canada residents is 1-800-474-6836.  If you are not in this region, click here.

    My B9180 gave me the msg "replace the defective print head" after a period of inactivity.  I'm using Snow Leopard on a Mac Pro 10.6.8.  The printer went through several periods of non-use, since I bought it used, but almost nine.  Usually, I experience white lines in my impressions after using the printer, I've always been able to fix by cleaning of the nozzles and/or the print heads, either automatically, or manually.  The last round resulted in the warning "defective printhead" even after repeated manual cleaning.  In fact, the process to put off the printer and back, with and without unplugging it, led to 'replace' warnings for ALL the printheads several times, only 2 print heads a couple of times a moment seems to be giving me just the consistantly 'replace magenta/yellow print head.  The strip of plastic that surrounds the ink nozzles is loose to the point of current on the PH.  My printer is no longer under warranty, but before I spend money on phone support and new print heads, I want to look at other possibilities.  The book says that if the manual cleaning of the printheads does not, HP support should be contacted, suggesting that there could be other possible remedies, before you buy new print heads.   I wouldn't begin to buy new print heads to find that again, they will not work because of some other problem.  I am also concerned by the other warnings of print head, even if they did not intervene now.

    Also, opening lid for cleaning of the PH, I noticed a lot of ink accumulate in 4 coarse foam pads, each in its own little tray located inside the printer on the right side.  some of them were overflowing. / I carefully daubbed a part of the ink with q-tips, but I wonder if this condition could be or cause problems.

    Ideas?

    Finally got tired of waiting on HP.  Expected response Bob during the 'days of Forum' or whatever they called.  My problems with their goods should not have affected them too!

    FYI, I ordered a new printhead magenta/yellow, installed and still had "replace print head faulty warning."  Has released the new printhead, cleaned of some sort of clear, gelatinous * beep * of gold contacts with a q - Tip and reinstalled.  Surprisingly, printer started working.  (Took a lot of time to do her routine 'thump, bump & hum'.)  Don't know how long it will last.

    My next printer will be a Canon or an Epson!

  • Squeak Officejet printer 6500 E710n

    My Officejet 6500 more E710n is about two weeks old.  He has developed a very unpleasant squeal when the print head is in motion.  This happens after printing 3 pages.

    I'm afraid the high unexpected loads will drop the print quality and printer wear at the beginning.  And the high-pitched cry is very annoying.

    Thank you, Bart Dawson

    I had the same problem!  I tried to put a small amount of lubricant on the Guide for the head, but printing pin

    that did not help.  I've finally isolated the squeaking of the little wheel that holds the right hand strand of the

    small toothed belt that moves the print head back.   Be sure not to make the lubricant on anything else

    or you can lead to other problems.  I used a silicone lubricant designed for securities of garage door because it is thicker than

    most lubricants and is easier to do not all fall inside the printer.

  • Designjet 5500 does not print a color (Magenta), head scratcher

    Hello all and thanks in advance. I'll try to be brief with my problem. I was wondering if anyone of you advanced users have experienced this problem and if I am wrong in my assumptions: granted Designjet 5500, work status unknown, for my personal use (mainly CAD). Replace the belt, system of tube of ink, cartridges and printheads (belt was shot, the ink tube sank cyan) system started successfully with print heads of installation showing all 6 colors of ink. Ran diagnostic impression. Magenta is totally absent in prints of Diagnostics 1 and 5. Not even a trace of color. I tried the calibration and fails with the error 6009, understandable. tubes of ink to the transport still show all 6 colors. printer initializes generally very good, with all the list OK print heads (because they are all new!). But sometimes throws an error 0032 00000004 0c fall detector, but not always. Fall sensor cleaned. My thought is that the Magenta Printhead is about shooting. Given that all the tubes of ink and no ink bubble comes OK. The fact that she sometimes error 0c 0032, but sometimes not, said that the printhead magenta must be fired sometimes at startup. So, I intend to replace the rear cart cables as the next logical step. Notice please! Thank you! Ray

    The first you see, it's actually the flowing magenta printhead ink. Take a damp paper towel, then press the printhead magenta in the towel and you should get two lines of ink. If you need a comparison, take the black and do the same thing. If you don't get two complete lines, then you can try to soak the print head in warm water (the temp) for about 2 minutes and pat dry with paper towels. Most of the time you can tell right away because when you place a print head in hot water should flow little ink and water take on the colour of the print head. Also make sure that it is not the magenta head light print and magenta. My feeling is that if you have a problem of thin cable you get an error message since the main Board check electrical connections to the print head during initialization, and when printing. Since you are not getting a failure than this message means electrically the printhead and the connections that are very well and this is the part of print head that is clogged or not working do not.
