print in color questions after changing cartridges

My Deskjet 1000 J110 printer do not print in color, after that I replaced the cartridges with original HP cartridges.

It prints black, but no color. I tried 2 HP 61/color cartridges, so far, but without success in everything except black.  I also made several attempts to "ask a question", only to have the search engine telling me "no one else has asked your question. I also spent a lot of time reading threads in the hope to come across a solution, but without success.  Can you help me, please?  I use the printer on a HP Pavillion G6 series laptop that I just bought the last sale online from HP, less than 4 months... The OS is Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1.

    Ah, it's working now. I cleaned the heads and reopened the PDF that I thought that maybe it was not loaded correctly, even if it looked good. Now it is printed on the lines.

  • Color LaserJet CP1025nw: printer does not print after changing cartridges

    I just inserted cartridges M, Y and C in my printer.  They are official cartridges 126 a.  I followed all the instructions (shook gently, removed the orange protective cover and pulled the Ribbon out).  I inserted one at a time, waiting after each insertion for the printer to run through its cycle.  Then I tried to print a color print job with no luck.  Then I tried to print a simple typed page - once again, no luck!

    Is it possible to print a test page?  I don't get any messages on my computer.  When I look at the print queue, it says "error printing".  Help, please!  Thank you.

    Note later: my mistake!  I turn on the blue light from the top; Once lit, the printer has been good to go.  Can tell you that I'm not very technologically savvy?

    So the color is printing, but not black? What happens if you make a color copy by using a black text word document? I suggest as a result of the article below. It contains troubleshooting steps for the white pages. If the problem persists check the next few sentences.

    The problem could be a bad cartridge. Before working on the printer as the article suggests you should contact HP. All authentic HP ink cartridges come with their own warranty, so if you call HP on the cartridge, you should be able to replace to help determine if the cartridge is the problem.

    After several years of impeccable service (thanks, HP!), my C4480 House today started leaving black fingerprints on one side 8.5 "x 11" long.

    This started after I replaced both cartridges with certified HP cartridges.

    Three printed documents were all the same--a moderate amount of burrs in the bottom right of the document, tapering to light burrs on the top right.

    The tasks are diamond shaped. They start as a string, but 1/3 of the way to the top of the page, they space out about 1/3 inch of distance.

    I unplugged and replugged the power and USB cables at both ends, make sure the glass is clean and remove and reinstall the cartridges.

    No change.

    I'm no technician but it looks like a mechanical problem, not software.

    Thanks for the comments. I ended up going to the place on the printer that says to clean the print head and it has worked, at least for now. If this isn't the case, then I will try to clean it with hot water. Thank you

    Sounds like an easy fix should be up there, but I'm not super computer savvy... after that we changed the print cartridge for the first time with this printer (and who knows what may happen after when my husband tried to fix it), the font of printing is too large AND prints a blank page of paper before the actual page prints with a font that is too large to fit properly on paper 8.5 x 11 inches.     HP printers can ignore alignment and even fail the alignment and print still sometimes.  Alignment is very important after each replacement of the cartridge that you get the best print quality.  The alignment should not use much ink at all.  Misalignment could cause problems of color etc., fuzzy, flat, spots, lines...

    I highly recommend to do the alignment.

    The type of printer it is and that is if it can even be canceled would depend on how to cancel alignment.  Usually, it has pressed a button, then press one another on the front panel of the printer while it is lining up.  The web page of troubleshooting HP all-in-one print cartridge and alignment for the color copier product families has without going through the alignment of the cartridge as the last section.

    The transition to Windows 10, I had problems with the printed colors.  Recently, I installed 2 new black cartridges and with each had the problem that it does not correctly print black.

    I did a test clean cartridge HP page and it was perfect. Next an Excel sheet printing showed only a few black and the other showed no black at all. (Note that the blue parts are out more purple than blue).

    Any help gratefully received.

  • A few questions after changing from Vista to Win XP on Satellite A135-S4427

    I bought a Toshiba Satellite A135-S4427 days. It comes with Vista, but some applications are not ready yet for this OS. So, I decided to remove it, then I did a new install of Win XP SP2.

    Here come the problems...
    (1) I could not find the driver for the system management Bus controller. There is an explicitly named SMBus available on the support site, but it was not accepted by the system.

    (2) after 2-3 hours of operation, when I use the mouse or the touchpad to open a file, folder, click a button, the system to freeze for a minute, then it works very well for a few minutes, then freezes, etc. Restarting the computer does not solve the problem.

    I can't explain this bad behavior :( I have not checked the security no virus was detected.

    Please, any idea to make my laptop works properly?

  • Printer does not print in color after installing new ink cartridge

    I have a HP Photosmart C7280 all-in-one printer.   Windows 7 is my OS.  I have made no other changes to my computer before this problem.

    My problem:

    I installed a genuine HP brand new yellow ink cartridge in my computer because my other cartridge was empty.  After that I installed a new cartridge, my printer normally goes through an initialization process.  This time he did that.  Now when I try to print anything in color, I get a window that says "ink empty Casrtridges.   To print in color, install the following cartridges: yellow "then turns and she says in that it can only print in black."

    I did a Test print.  I ran "clean cartridges".  I did a 'print align.   All these prints in color, including the yellow.  I also did a color copy and printed the color yellow.   Ink level shows the yellow as a FULL cartridge.

    I have tried with 3 new genuine HP yellow ink cartridges and it still doesn't let me do a color print.  I have rebooted my system, unplugged the printer several times and it still will not print color.

    What else could be my problem?  What else can I try?

    It seems that the error got stuck in the printer driver. Try to uninstall and reinstall the printer software. That should clear up the problem. I'll link the latest software and drivers below. Let me know what happens.
