Hi all
Want to use Firefox for our activity as well, but how to set print margins? Is this possible at all?
Thanks in advance

Print margins are defined in the settings of the printer. If you have any questions, you can set parameters for web pages with these instructions: How to print Web sites

  • How to adjust the print margins in Firefox on Linux 17?

How can I set print margins in Firefox on Linux 17? There is no margin setings in layout, or in the print dialog box. About: config, there are sets of settings called e.g. printer_Print_to_File.print_margin_top etc., but also the print.printer_Print_to_File.print_margin_top etc, but when I try to set these it seems they zero to 0.5 when I print something, and the print margins are always the same. In previous versions of Firefox, I managed to adjust the margins by typing about: config, but that changed in a recent version.

    Hello

I can confirm that I have the same problem on Firefox on Linux 17. Except that preferences do /not/ / giving to 0.5.

We could try to isolate the problem. If you have another printer to try, then you can try it and see if the margin settings also get ignored. (It may be just the PDF printer that ignores them).

On the other side, this PDF printer has worked for you before, please file a bug in Firefox. https://developer.Mozilla.org/en/docs/Bug_writing_guidelines

  • HP Deskjet 2544: Deskjet print margins

I had to reinstall my Deskjet 2544 when I got a new router - and now the print area has been reduced and the bottom of my documents are cut off. It didn't happen before reinstalling.

How to enlarge the print area, or minimize the margins of the printer

    Hello

What are the bottom of the printed page margins?

The Deskjet 2544 does not support printing without margins, the margins of document must match (or exceed) these margin in portrait orientation settings:

    Left & right: 0.32 cm

    Top: 0.15 cm

    Downstairs: 1.45 cm

You can find the printer specifications listed below, see the specifications of paper output > print margins:

When you print the Word 10 as the print margins are different the actual document, they can be changed? Currently, print preview displays the page number in the cut foot.

    I'm in word 2010 on windows 7

    Hello simfra1uk.

Installation of bottom in the document margin cannot be less than 1.5 cm (or 0.57 inch). The footer margin must be also bigger than that so it can be printed.

  • HP m570 dw: limit the print margins

    Hello

I'm trying to print an entire page with margins (os x 10.10) on Safari. Here is an example:

If I print a full page of text, half an inch from top and bottom is erased due to the margin. I fiddled with the settings of the browser and had no success.

I removed and re added the printer in settings.

    Do I need software?

I am able to change the margins of the printer inself rather than change it in software on a computer?

    Hi again,

I have reset all settings, re installed drivers.

I found a partial solution to the question, I export the PDF form and page cropping subsides. It's 'pop - up print preview page' forms incorrectly print the entire page. I look at it with the company.

    Thanks again for your help.

  • The printer margins

I need to print with small margins using plain paper.  How to set the matgins for print outs with a printer HP 6700?

I think I found a solution.  I went to your web page and watched in drivers and somehow found your printer wizard (HPPIW.exe) I ran it and however he reported my game to the top to be good.  I looked a little harder in devices and printers, and when I click on my printer icon, I saw a printer server properties section (I had never noticed this before).  When I looked I saw ALL the margins set to zero.  I ran a few test prints and all is well.

    Hey @Mike144,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.

I see you have some problems with the printing of 10 Windows PC to your Officejet 8710 e-all-in-one printer. I can help you with that.

    To resolve this problem:

    1. If your printer is connected to your PC via a USB cable, remove it.
    2. Close any programs you have open.
    3. In your search type in printers bar and open devices and printers.
    4. Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
    5. Click on remove the instrument.
    6. Repeat for all other icons of your printer listed.

If you removed the USB cable, connect. If this is not the case, click on add printer and follow the prompts to add a new queue for your printer.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to print with larger margins, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • HP deskjet 1515 print margin setting?

I have recently bought all-in-one printer, HP Deskjet 1515 and cannot adjust the margins of the print area. When I print an A4 document, an area at the bottom does not print. When I print a 6 "x 4" or photo 10 x 15 cm, the entire surface of the paper is not printed, leaving a margin to the right of the photograph of landscape or the background of a portrait photo. Can someone advise please how to fix?

    Hello

Your printer does not support printing without margins so please do not adjust the border, just try to print normally.

    Kind regards.

Ah yes, I just read this in the owner's manual. Do you know if it is possible to download a driver that could change the status of permissioin to allow edge to edge printing?

I used to think it was possible (another print driver) - I've learned since the ability to print without margins is related to the physical hardware: the printer can print without borders - or he can do.

Assuming for the moment that there is a way "around the restriction, you can try Photo Creations (works for Windows and Mac).»  If the software can find a way to provide the service, it will do.

  • HP ENVY 4500: Cannot change the HP Envy 4500 print margins

I'm trying to print an Excel spreadsheet from my iPad.  I selected print sheet Active and updated nationwide to hold the sheet on a page.  I select my printer and a part of the Excel spreadsheet appears with much too large margins.  If I select No. scaling then there is more than one page will be printed.  I want a page of scaling to fit.  How can I fix it?

    Hey @skymistress,

I understand that you have some problems with the margins when printing from your iPad to your craving 4500 e - all - in - one printer. If you are able to print from other applications without any problem, then I suggest rather the impression of your spreadsheets from a Windows PC or Mac. You may need to do a lot of experimenting with Excel force it to print the document the way that you would like so printing from a Windows PC or Mac would be much simpler.

I hope this helps with your spreadsheet and hope you have a great weekend!

  • Photosmart 5524 duplex printing margins issue

    Hello

Just bought a photosmart 5524 printer.  Everything seems ok to start, but have you noticed (with a previous user) who come to the margins when printing on both sides.

It seems to be to reproduce the same problem as the previous user, but I followed the resolution proferred in this thread, and the problem persists.

I am running Windows 7, get the number of Word and Acrobat Pro 11 13.

I tried to change the settings of the printer, as suggested in the thread precedent, but if these are defined that only, I don't get the option to print on both sides.  If duplex is set, I have the option when I select print in the program, but the margins are narrowed.

My apologies if this has been resolved, but the only thread I can find is the only one I want to talk and this does not seem to resolve.

    Any suggestions gratefully received...

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 - Print margins are off, slow and noisy printing

I have problems printing my printer HP Officejet Pro 8600. When I am able to print the process is extremely slow and the printer made a lot of noise before and during printing. In addition, the margins are off compared to those on the document itself. The left margin is so great that it is cut a part of the document on the right side. I tried to unplug and restart the device and it is set back to the factory, but the questions remain. I printed a test page and it looks good, but speed, noise and margins continue to be a problem. How can I fix these problems?

    Thank you!

  • Print margin of module settings

When I go in the Lightroom print module the image never extends to values defined in the margins in the right for top, left, right and bottom panel.  Should I move the image manually, or reenter the same values already defined for the margins.  Is this normal?  Second question: why my epson 4900 begins to print the image in the middle of the sheet and leave out half of the image?  She does, apparently at random, and it's quite expensive to see a 17 x 22 or 13 x 19 sheet ruined.  Is it because of Lightroom?

You use "zoom to fill" activated in 'image settings' or are you referring to the fact that if you change the size of the page in the page layout, the size of the cells does not fit if you go to a larger page size? I think that the latter is a conscious decision by the people of lightroom do not change the size of the cell of the image when you go to a larger size, but only to change when you go down in size.

  • P1100 printer margins have become smaller. Help!

    Hello

I have a Photosmart P1100 printer that works fine with Windows 7 after I finally found a printer driver that would manage this old printer.  I use the HP1220C driver and it works beautifully!  However, yesterday I tried printing a portfolio of msn and the margins have become smaller.  The police are the same but the margins are smaller on top and both sides.  That's happened?  When I go to print a document, the margins are OK.   Also, when I try to print a 'Google Map', margins are ok, but the print is so small you need a magnifying glass and a flashlight to find your way at noon.

Again, printing documents is no problem.  The P1100 was a great impression.  Today, after executing a test page, it says that it has printed 7546 copies previously.  As long as you keep food cartridges, it has worked perfectly until now.  Help, please!

    Chuck-L

What he would say that you are facing a problem with MSN. Now, if this only happens with only one source, then this is probably this source at the origin of the conflict. I would first try printing from another browser:

    https://www.Google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/

    http://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/new/

In addition, you can try using a different driver to print from this request:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/printer-all-in-one-software-drivers-e-g-Windows-8/How-to-assign-alternate-print-drivers-in-different-versions/TD-p/1957011

Do things and let me know how it goes!

  • Canon print margin

A form created with LiveCycle V8 prints correctly with Acrobat, but not with the drive or the preview PDF of LiveCycle. The top margin is too low about 1/2 inch. The form size is 6 X 9 inches. The printer is a Canon IP4820. Any Suggestions? I am running Windows 7 and have deleted and added the printer, and downloaded the latest firmware from Canon.Other forms with standard sizes (8 1/2 x 11 and 8 x 10) print correctly in all products.

To save myself some time when test I went into the preferences of the printer for IP4820 under "Devices and printers" and created a new definition for 6 x 9 in paper so that I don't have to specify it in a custom size whenever I tested it. Since that the form prints correctly in Acrobat, LiveCycle, and Reader.
