Print spooler is corrupted after every reboot.

original title: corrupt Printer Spooler

I have huge problems with my spooler.  I tried every fix I found on this site, and they work.  Until my laptop is restarted, then Windows 7 seems to be obsessed with restore corrupted files.  It seems he has programmed it to file backup that runs the joint.  We have renamed the files, we ran all the scans here, we did things together of dependencies (which has never worked in a first time.)  When I do the scans, it is said he found and repair corrupt files.  Then I turn off my laptop.  Turn it on, VOILA!  Corrupted once more.  I really don't want to, or don't I think I should have to, go through the trash whenever I want to print.  I want a permanent solution, please.

Hello VxShady,

I lived the same problem and your last message gave me a few ideas, leading to the following solution worked for me.

  1. Open a with right click command prompt and use the option "run as Administrator".
  2. SFC can restore the version appropriate for spoolsv.exe, "sfc/scannow".
  3. Start the spooler service to confirm it works and set to start automatically.
  4. Open a Windows Explorer with the right-click and use the "Run as Administrator" option.
  5. Navigate to the Windows\System32 folder, right click on spoolsv.exe and choose the properties option.
  6. Check the read-only check box, and then click OK.
  7. Copy the file spoolsv.exe on the desktop for good measure.
  8. Reset.

The program or service that replace your file with a corrupted version spoolsv.exe should now be unable to crush them. For me, this solves the problem, and the spooler service starts automatically after reboot.

I hope it helps you too!

Best regards, Dave

  • How can I keep my print spooler active Service after blocking with FixIt

When you try to use one of my printers online, I receive an error message that

"Operation cannot be completed. Print Spooler service is not running. »

I used FixIt to repair this problem. It is said that the problem is solved.

But, he is not fixed... as soon as I try to activate a printer, the error message is repeated.

"Spooler SubSystem App has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. »

Participated in the Windows Update... without success

A ran a scan antivirus (AVG)... no virus found

PC Tune Up (AVG)... without success

    At least he's polite.

It could be that your print spooler queue is blocked, then you can clean it up.

To clear the print queue, stop the print spooler service and delete all the pending print files.

You cannot delete all print jobs in the queue so that the Print Spooler Service is running.

To stop the Print Spooler Service, click Start, run and enter in the box:

    services.msc

Click OK to open the Services Applet.

Locate the Print Spooler Service, right click and choose 'Properties' and then click on the "Stop" button to stop the Print Spooler Service is running.

The option "Startup Type" of Service properties print spooler is usually set to "Automatic" (which is now a good time to check it out).

If the "Startup type" is not set to "Automatic", set the "Startup type" to "Automatic" If that is your desire (which now is the time to check it out).

Do not try to start or restart the Print Spooler Service again... you must remove any saved print jobs first.

Then, delete all updates pending upward and forward to printing from XP.  If they do not print before, you will need to send the to the printer again.

Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the following folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS

Delete all the print jobs in queue (select and delete all the files) in the folder if the folder is without waiting for print jobs.  The folder must be empty when you are finished.

Reboot your system and check the Print Spooler Service again to make sure the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically restart (given that the startup type is set to automatic).  If it is not started, right click on and start it.

After the reboot, check again the spooler service for printing and the 'Status' column for the print spooler must be read "started."

Submit new failure of print jobs.

  • Print spooler still crashes after that one document is printed.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 64-bit with 8 GB of RAM.  I have a Lexmark X 6650 printer wireless installed on it.  The problem is that I can print a document very well, and then if I try to print another document, the print spooler jams, requiring a reboot of the system to be able to resume printing.  Stop and restart the print through Services spooler has not solved the problem. Can someone help with this problem?

The problem has been resolved.  The solution is to uninstall the printer, and then let Windows 7 reinstall with "add a printer" rather than reinstall it from the manufacturer's CD.

  • Same bugs occurring after every reboot.

I use webOS 2.1.2 on a HP Veer 4 G.  Whenever I restart the phone, the following bugs occur:

    (1) voice dialing shortcut that I put on the taskbar (wave) has been deleted; In addition, the voice dialing shortcut that I had moved to a custom in the Applications Panel location is lost and the icon is moved in last place.  Each time, I have to move it back to where I want to in the Control Panel Applications and then re - add to the area of the taskbar (wave).

    (2) even if I went through the entire tutorial in the hope that he would never bother me again, a notification of actions tutorial comes back whenever the phone starts.  I just want to remove this application, if possible, but I don't see a way to do it like I can with custom applications.

Everyone knows these or similar issues after a reboot and know the solutions or workarounds?  Also, is there an official place can I report a bug in Palm/HP?  Thank you!

-Very well, the third time is a charm.  I tried to make the gesture tutorial all along for the third time since the failed first go to initial start-up.  Then, instead of restart as I had done before, I completely turned off and turned on manually this return.  Notification of gesture tutorial came upward.  Then, as a test, I advanced and restarted that this time (instead of a full stop) and the tutorial of gesture still have not come upward.  It seems that the problem has been resolved now.

As for the voice dialing icon, which is more important to me now that I know the voice dialing is accessible button low volume for a few seconds.  I replaced the voice dialing icon in my taskbar tasks with something else now and that the icon remains in place.  The voice dialing icon is always moving around in the Applications menu.  Not a huge deal, but this ruin my organization a bit.

  • Satellite A350 - 110 PSAL6E disappearing after every reboot Win7 card reader

Well, the title says it all.

As far as I know, that this model has a JMicron card reader - Windows Update installs its own drivers for it.
    I tried the drivers of * [HERE | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 153 & selProduct = 819 selSho 789 = rtMod & language = 13 & selOS = 29 & selType = 316 & yearupl = DST & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = all Machines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = all & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = 316 & page = 1 & ID = 69749 & DISO = 29 & driverLanguage = 42] *.

The thing is: I install the drivers and perform a restart. After that, the card reader works perfectly. However, if I do another reboot it disappears and I have to install and reboot again.

Am I missing some other bits of software reviews? For anything else, I used the Toshiba Software Installer.

    Hello

You have not missed anything guy card reader controller driver is the only driver that controls the card reader.

I think that it of not a problem with the driver, but with the Windows operating system. I don't know if the update of Windows messed with something, but usually the update from Microsoft should not affect functionality of Mr. card reader that's why its odd to me that the driver does not work after restarting.

However, maybe you must first uninstall the card reader driver. This in Device Manager.
Mark the card reader and uninstall the driver. Reboot the laptop.
Then clean the operating system using CCleaner (freeware tool can be downloaded from different pages).

After the cleaning, restart the device and install the driver through the Device Manager. Reboot and test functionality.

    Good luck

  • 'Unidentified network' after every reboot with Windows 7

    Hi guys,.

It seems to be a large number of people with this problem and a multitude of suggestions on how to fix it. I had no chance.
So far, I've tried everything, including the quite this long list here (excluding those of the 'method III' that I'm working through): http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/windows-7-loses-my-network-and-becomes-an/7b305de9-3793-4c32-b9da-a1f83d6a57b2

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and my network card is an Asus USB - N13 which has drivers updated.
As the title says the issue of the "unidentified network" occurs whenever I restart the computer. It's interesting when when the computer "connects" to my wireless network but is on an 'unidentified network' of my router do not see. Not totally sure what to do this.

If it helps two temporary fixes, I found iinclude:

Reset stack TCP/IP as follows (taken from http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/homegroup-network-disappeared-on-desktop-replaced/258ca60f-d2bf-41f5-a37a-ff391d64e0d2)

    a. click the Start button, type cmd.
    b. now in the result of research with right-click on cmd.exe and selectrun as administrator.
    c. Enter the following commands, one at a time, and press ENTER:

    ipconfig/flushdns
    nbtstat-r
    nbtstat - RR
    netsh int Reinitialis
    netsh int ip reset
    netsh winsock reset

    d. restart the computer.

As well as the removal of the network, uninstall the network driver and restart the computer.

Patches above must be reapplied the next time I turn on the computer much.

This question is particularly annoying for me because I plan to use the computer as a server without a head but I can't connect to it remotely because of this problem.

  • Print spooler is disabled, how to turn on?

    Original title - print spooler

I received a message stating that my print spooler is disabled after that I had to reformat my new machine, Windows 8. How do I turn this thing? Sorry to be a Luddite.

    Steve,

What printer you are using? What is the model?

Which printer driver you installed on the computer? He received by the manufacturer of the printer?

    Try this:

Open Services by typing "Services.msc" in the Run command window and clickin on 'Ok '.

Double click on "Printer Spooler" Services listed there.

Click on stop, click OK and go to '% WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers' and all delete this folder.

Now again go to Services.msc and start the Printer Spooler service and change the startup as "Automatic" Type

Click Ok and restart the computer and check.

  • When I updated printer spooler 'automatic', after a reboot or two it automatically switches back to "manual". How to make 'automatic' permanently?

    Microsoft Vista

I was the only one who got to manual in the first place, I did not know.
I tried the fix from microsoft, this program (which set to automatic, but after a restart printer spooler is indented in the manual) I tried the system restore and reinstall the drivers. Don't know what I can do
The printer is a HP officejet 5610
Any help would be really appreciated, it does not even need to be a solution, just a way to get around it.

    Hello

Try the methods provided below and check if persists it to the question.

    Method 1:

I suggest you to run the Microsoft Fix tool which will set the service to automatic. To run the fix tool see the link below.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/troubleshoot-printer-problems

    Method 2:

If the method above does not help then you can try to run the system restore and check if that helps resolve the issue.

To perform the system restore using the link below.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/system-restore

    Method 3: Clean boot

Perform a clean boot may help if there is a third-party program, change the setting of service.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    Note:

After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

  • Printers are lost after installing updates and could not start get error 1053 service print spooler service message has failed to demand launch or control in a timely

Original title: print spooler does not - error 1053 - Windows 7

I have a HP Pavilion dv4-511 with Windows 7.  2 weeks ago I ran a Windows Update and all my printers installed have disappeared after a reboot.  I did a system restore and they were all back.  Yesterday, I installed an update to a software (Soonr) and it's the same thing.  I clicked on the print spooler service to see if I was able to restart and got the error 1053 saying "service did not respond to demand launch or control in a timely." If I click on "Add a printer" in the menu devices and printers, I get the following message: "Windows can't open add printer."  The local print spooler service is not running.  Please restart the spooler or restart the machine. "I rebooted the computer and the same thing continues to happen.  I did a system restore and the printers are all back.  It seems that every time there is a change to any software, it creates this problem.  Help, please! Thank you.

    Hello

    Welcome to the Microsoft community!

When the updates are installed, the printers will be lost and when you try to start the print spooler service, you get the service saying error 1053 has failed to demand launch or timely control.

The problem may occur if some system files are corrupted or because of malicious content.

I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below:

Method 1: File system (CFS) Scan Checker

SFC scan will find all missing or incorrect system files and repairs them.

    See the site:

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Method 2: Scan the computer to remove all possible malicious content

    See the site:

    Microsoft safety scanner

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx .

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

I hope this helps. If the problem persists, let know us and we would be happy to help you.

  • Print spooler problems and cannot install printer driver after Windows 7 upgrade (80070706)

I just upgraded from Vista to Win 7 Ultimate.  Once installation is complete, I tried to update the drivers and install the latest updates.  Everything worked except for HP LaserJet 4 L driver.  As a first step, whenever the driver tried to install it, the print spooler service may stop working, and the driver installation failed with error code 800F0246.  I then removed everything from the spool directory, rebooted and tried again.  This time, the print spooler service has not prevented from working, but the driver still does not work with error code 80070706.

I can't find the information for this error (80070706) anywhere on the web.  Any help would be appreciated.

More information: the HP LaserJet 4 L printer is connected via a parallel to a prolific USB docking cable.  Windows recognizes the printer as the IEEE-1284 device, but says it needs driver to work.

Update: I was able to manually add the 4L driver using the print server properties dialog box, BUT if I try to add a printer after that, I get "the print processor does not exist.  If I try to add a printer without installing the driver, I get ERROR 0 x 00000002.

Everything is running as an administrator.  It worked perfectly under Vista.

Thanks for these links, but these proposals did not help nor solve the problems.

After a long and painful journey through the registry, I determined that this workstation was already installed 3rd party software, called "Pharos".  Apparently, this software was redirecting the default print processors and was clearly not compatible with Windows 7, although the installation of Win 7 never mentioned a problem of compatibility.  Once this software has been removed, and all the remains erased from the registry, there is now no problems with printers or print spooler.

In the future, it would be useful that Microsoft has actually provided certain types of useful information when these accidents occur.  Cryptic error numbers and unnecessary event log entries did not provide useful clues.

The main problem is caused by corrupted printer drivers, you will need to check with your printer manufacturer for
Download the latest drivers (just re - install the old ones will probably lead to this error). Make sure that you
