  I recently updated my laptop, one with one with Windows 7 64 - bit Vista and the printer I have is the C7280 all-in-One.

  After installing the driver recommended on the site of HP (PS_AIO_02_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe) because of the CD supplied with the printer being impossible to install on Windows 7. After I try to print something (after setting the preferences on duplex), I received a message invites me to MANUALLY move the paper for duplex printing, which I wouldn't have to do as the printer as a two-sided printing accessory.

  I just bought the printer ENVY 5540 and wanted to know if automatic extension tray should also retract automatically when I stopped the printer.   I had printer for 6-7 years and never had a problem. I up graded my phone att pots line (plain old telephone system) the system to voip (voice over internet phone). I never had a problem to send and receive faxes. Now, I can only send faxes and not receive them, even with the automatic reply button on! The only rings (6210 HP) fax. Chat with people to send faxes reports the 6210 indicates the machine is busy, which is not the case. I checked the telephone connections and cables and still get the same results. I have checked the filters and hooked up to another fax machine (hp 8500 A909a) with the same results. I downloaded a updateded printer driver and still get the same results. I noticed when I sent a fax test fax hp service test, they sent a fax to the back but the fax would only ring unless I press the black / touch of color, it will leave a fax come through. Y at - it a remedy to this new problem. Help.

  Switch to a VoIP system may cause problems.  The fax machine is designed to operate with an analog installation.

  My all-in-one HP Photosmart C4250 error is 5 years old.

  I followed your instructions and it worked perfectly. The word "manually" has been deleted from the finishing tab, so that was a clue that a change has been made. I had to restart the computer for the change to take effect.

I had already spent a lot of pages and Googling HP scanning other sites to unravel this mystery, because I know that I have used to be able to automatically print double-sided but then suddenly couldn't. Something changed without my knowledge.

  I have a PC running W7 64 bit

  Printer is all-in-one CA410B... It was installed and running, a couple of days he threw error "missing components" and would not printing software launch.

  I found this document which decodes what mean flashing lights.  There are a lot of different codes described, but I found a heading "question: one or two of the lights blink check print cartridge" which seems to be what's going on your printer.  Basically it's saying that the cartridges are out of alignment or defective.  If the document is not help clarify, let me know and I'll see what I can find.

  I'm sorry you have a problem with your ink not detected.

  The problem may be because the printer is of the Switzerland and the ink cartridges are NOT. The printer will only accept cartridges of the same region/country.

  For example, if you are in the United States and buy a printer and the cartridges come from GERMANY, he cannot read. Will suit most, but some of the contacts are different causing not well read the cartridge from the printer.

  To add to what sabertooth04 said, here a link to a document that deals with the applications of printing for your printer model. Click the menu drop down titled "Managing planned delivery Print Apps" and the option to cancel or remove an application will be available for you click on and examine measures to remove this application.   Hello.  I am running Linux Mint 14 in VMPlayer on your desktop AMD Win7 hexagonal base.  The implementation uses a MG5320 Canon all-in-one printer on a wireless network.

  Symptom: When you try to use the scanner under Linux software, I get an error that does not scan.

  Comments: I know that the printer is connected and can print from VMPlayer.  I used the scan software successfully in a Win7 laptop boots double in Linux Mint 14.  Therefore, the only difference is running Linux Mint in VMPlayer.

  The 'virtual' printer in the virtual machine settings through the present printers on the host - there should be no impact on your ability to 'normally' adding printers inside the guest.

  Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the same type of printer, and I'm not Linux.

  The thing is useful that maybe I can tell you, is that you may need to configure the virtual adapter as connected by a bridge instead of the default NAT.

  Suggestion of Dextre is a workaround that disables the CUE device detection and the client might lose some features

  Run the update as the best solution.

• Problem adding all-in-one 7210 as a printer 'network '.

  I have a succesfully connected 7210 via the port USB of PC at home connected to the router & 'main' wireless (via ethernet cable).

  I also added successfully (with ease!) to Vista laptop for my daughter and she can print wireless very well.

  However, now try to install on my XP laptop that already has the driver installed (uses 6210 all-in-one on my place of work via USB) through "add a printer".

  Select the printer network OR local printer? What options to choose then? How can I know my printer name (or IP address) and port name?

  Try to do this:

  1 printer a network. configurtaion page  You can click on the SETUP (wrench) on your printer. Then search NETWORK and press OK. Search for VIEW the NETWORK SETTINGS, then press OK. Find the NETWORK SETUP PAGE and press OK. It will display the page of network configuration for you.

  2. search for the IP ADDRESS on the network configuration page.

  3. on your computer, choose LOCAL PRINTER and uncheck the box that says automatically detect printer attached to this computer, and then click Next.

  4. Select ADD A NEW PORT and chose TCP/IP.

  5. type the IP ADDRESS of the printer and follow the rest of the on-screen instructions.
