CA410 all-in-one will not be installed... does not detect the printer

Help... cannot install printer s/w

I have a PC running W7 64 bit

Printer is all-in-one CA410B... It was installed and running, a couple of days he threw error "missing components" and would not printing software launch.

Tried to re - install... failed

Most recent downloaded software file... Tried to re - install... failed

Removed all... tried to re - install... failed

Has started at the beginning of the mode... tried to re - install... failed

Has started at the beginning of the mode... tried to re - install "as Administrator"... failed

Each time, it happens to the screen to plug the USB cord... I do it... get the "Boing" sound so I know PC has detected the USB device... and I see "Installing message device driver"... but the HP software does not see that... and stop right there.

See the attached screenshot

If I check the box to continue without attach printer full installation does not occur.

In Device Manager, it says "Photosmart Prem c410" if I removethese it will not install

I guess that W7 is detect the printer and with the help of a driver that is installed, rather than seeing the HP software that? the clues how to get around this, I want to get the complete package installed it again.

  • Dell XPS 2710 all-in-One will not start, the totally blank screen

Hello. This is my first post on the forums and I hope someone can help me.

The Dell XPS 2710 all-in-one I bought for my 10 year old 15 months ago (Yes, that means that the guarantee is expired) will not start. No no post, no beeps, nothing. Just a brief spark of light on the screen, no words, nothing. The machine gets occasional use, and there is nothing to indicate what could have caused the problem. I have not upgraded the BIOS recently, is not as if it was a bad BIOS update, or whatever it is. I tried to hit the F1, F2, F12 keys delete during startup. No results.

The video works. I know because I can connect my laptop to the HDMI-in port and I can see the desktop of my laptop very well. So the question is NOT the video. My son uses this machine for occasional movies and homework in his room. I want to fix the computer, if I can. I am handy with computers and built several machines from the outset in the past.

I believe that the most likely scenario is that the motherboard has went wrong; There are several posts around the internet about motherboards 2710 AIO being unreliable. I saw an ad on the forums of Dell from a guy who said Dell Tech Support replaced its motherboard 2710 five times. I see that some of these motherboards are selling on eBay for around $200. I'm toying with the idea of getting a. I watched the service manual for the 2710 and I'm pretty confident that I could replace the Board of Directors.

Someone had experience with permutation on their motherboard on a 2710 AIO? Or someone has any ideas on what could be the problem with my son's computer? I appreciate all the advice/help anyone could offer.

OK, I have removed all the RAM from the motherboard (there were two sticks) and unplug the connector on the SATA hard drive. Then I turned on the machine and got two beeps very strong, but still no video on the screen indicating any form of activity of the POST. The sound signals have been first sounds I've ever heard during the procedure of boot on this machine. I put the RAM back in and re-connected the SATA cable. The way he has been, no video, no post, no beeps. I'm a bit at a loss for what I've decided, this means that the motherboard works technically and that another device on the machine is at the origin of the problem? Have I reason to assume that if I hear two beeps, then I should have the certainty that the motherboard was bad? Given that this a sound signal, the solution becomes cloudy, I guess. I can't help but feel that somehow the BIOS on the computer is damaged. Don't quite know how that could happen, however, because I have not updated the BIOS in over a year. I don't remember what BIOS version I have, but he had been working well for a year with no problems. Thanks for any other help/suggestions you can provide.

  • My Officejet 6500 E709 all in one will not print black.

My HP Officejet 6500 E709n all-in-one will not print black.   All other colors work very well.  Have you tried what follows - new black cartridge installed, ran the print heads clean utility, made sure the wind was compatible black ink cartridge, turned printer off and restarted.  Print tests still not print black - other colors and images to print, but not text black or shades of black in images.  Any suggestions on how to fix or what needs to be repaired?  Thank you.

Hi jim: I just had the same problem a few minutes ago. After having gone through all the troubleshooting steps, I realized it was all just a bad cartridge. The PIN on the printer heads were not reading the new cartridge, so nothing in black print could be printed. I installed a new black cartridge and I could resume my printing projects. I then contacted the HP store directly to report the faulty cartridge while they could send me a new, that I won't be out of pocket for a cartridge I bought directly from them.

Hope this helps you with your problem.

Open your printers folder and right-click on the printer and review the printing preferences. Set the media media photo here and in the application you are printing from. When you say that it will not be printed on photographic support what do you mean... the page is white? the quality is bad?

  • 4380 all-in-one printer does not detect the print cartridge

My all-in-one printer (model 4380 vivera, bought in Switzerland) does not detect the print cartridges. I traded the color cartridge with that of another, older than I was and now everything is fine. I don't know when, this problem will arise again. The last time I was so frustrated that I bought another printer (HP 2050) which seems to work without problems. I have unplugged, replugged and clean the cartridges with filtered water. The problem may arise at any time. Help, please. Thank you.

I'm sorry you have a problem with your ink not detected.

The problem may be because the printer is of the Switzerland and the ink cartridges are NOT. The printer will only accept cartridges of the same region/country.

For example, if you are in the United States and buy a printer and the cartridges come from GERMANY, he cannot read. Will suit most, but some of the contacts are different causing not well read the cartridge from the printer.

  • J4580: J4580 will not detect the alignment page.

My J4580 that works very well for years, now will not detect the alignment page after you print and put on the scanner bed.  I try three times and it then goes to the default alignment parameters.  It still prints but text tends to little fuzzy.  What can I do to fix this?

    Hi @BruceK43,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your problem of alignment.

I understand that you used a HP Officejet J4580 all-in-One printer with a Windows 10 computer but when you try to only scan the alignment page, the printer is not detected by the alignment page returns to the default alignment parameters. I would like to help with that.

Here is the document of support designed to be used with this problem - a "alignment failed" Error Message appears on the printer control panel.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

I'm running Windows 7 pro 64 bit on a mobile workstation Dell M4800.  I bought a mouse Wireless Mobile 4000 which is supposed to have programmable buttons.  I went to the web page of material/downloads and downloaded Intellipoint 8.2 who is supposed to be the software for this device.  The software installed with no problem, but it will not detect the mouse and I can't program the buttons.  On the devices tab, the program detects the touch pad mouse and Dell (listed as compatible mouse HID).  The mouse works with the basic functionality, but I need to program the buttons

    Hi John,.

If you have installed the correct versions for the mouse, then, it could be a problem with the mouse settings associated with the soft keys.

    Hello

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.
Is properly installed wireless adapter driver?
Go to start-> type devmgmt.msc-> press on enter. In the Device Manager window, expand network adapters. You should be able to see a list of network adapter as Ethernet, Bluetooth, etc. Make sure that you can find the adapter wireless from the list. If so, double-click it. Properties windows will be open. On the general tab, under device status, if it shows that the device is not functioning properly, please remove the case, locate the wireless network card and make sure the connections of antennas are coneected correctly. If even a connection is not properly connected or damaged, you cannot connect to any WiFi network.

  • HPC7250 printer all in one will not be installed to G500 computer laptop Lenovo with 8.1

I have a HP Photosmart C7250 that prints from an old mac, but the new Lenovo G500 with 8.1 does not find the printer or says that it is offline.  Software from the Web site solution installs for 20 minutes, then when I try to start, it starts to install the exact same software again and again.  It is in a loop of some sort.  The computer says there is a problem with the printer, but can not solve the problem. Can you help me?  Thank you.  RobertM9

Uninstall the old drivers allowed the complete software suite to install, and I printed out just my first doc. I hope this helps someone else.

  • HP 7210 all in one - will not be printed on the fast project configuration

For the last two weeks, my 7210 HP all-in-one has decided that he does not want to print on quick project more.  I have the default settings of the printer on quick project, and I even went and edited individual documents to ensure that they are on the quick project, but it still prints on quality.  I do a ton of printing on a daily basis, and that is to kill my ink, not to mention how long it takes.  My OS is Windows 7, 64-bit.

    Hey @kmh1883,

Thanks for getting back to me on this subject "fast draft" with your HP Officejet 7210 all-in - One Printer. Even if printing HP and doctor Scan found no problem, it seems that you may have a driver conflict. I would like to try another driver at the moment to see if this clears up your printing problems.

    How to add another driver:

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Select the devices and printers
    3. In the devices and printers folder right click on your HP Officejet 7210 and left-click on properties of the printer
    4. Left click on the Advanced tab
    5. Left-click on new driver
    6. When the new driver window just press 'Next' until you see a list of manufacturers on the left and a list of Printers on the right.
    7. Select HP as the manufacturer on the left
    8. DeskJet 9800 select the printer on the right. If Deskjet 9800 is only select "Windows Update" at the bottom left and once the update has been completed, you will be able to select Deskjet 9800.
    9. After selecting Deskjet 9800 hit next complete the new driver Wizard
    10. Under the printer properties window, select 'Apply' but do not hit OK
    11. Select the general tab
    12. Rename your printer in HP Officejet 7210
    13. Click OK
    14. Finally, right click on your HP Officejet 7210 one more time and left-click on Printing Preferences
    15. Left click on the paper/quality tab
    16. Left click on the drop down menu 'Normal' for quality printing at the bottom right and change its project of Fast
    17. Press apply and OK

Test print from the print driver Deskjet 9800 replacing to check if the setting "Fast Draft" remains.

Please let me know if this solved your problem. Good luck!
