Printer and pc communications

I have a pc HP printer HP photosmart C5180 all-in-one. Worked for about two years, now it will not print anything on the internet, any script. It works very well in my hard drive. I uninstalled the software for printer & reinstalled, same problem, any help?

Hello

The only other things I can think of seems to indicate are:

1. temporarily disable add-ons (see FAQ n ° 9 on this link ) and see if it prints now on the web.

2. use the Fixit to reset IE8

3 reinstall IE8 that should correct the problem.

4. try to download and install Firefox and see if this will display properly on the web.

Kind regards

  • HP Deskjet 8500 has all-in-one: printer printing and scanning in black

Printed OK yesterday. Today it is printing full black pages, on black settings and color.  Also the complete black page scan.  Has been at rest - not off.

    Hello!
Welcome to the HP community @ebe7fos,

I read on how your prints and scans are now completely black when you use your Officejet 8500 printer and wanted to drop to help. Try the steps and answer all the following questions please and responds with the result, and we can go from there if necessary.

Reset the printer and make sure it is plugged directly into a wall jack, avoiding the power and surge protectors toolbars:

With the printer, unplug the power cord at the back of the unit.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the back of the unit.
If the printer does not by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

    1. How the printer is connected (USB / wireless / wired / Bluetooth)?
    2. Did you test functionality of the hardware (made copies) and they work successfully?
    3. Have you tried printing from different programs?
    4. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the software?
    5. Run the print and Scan Doctor and understand the results.
    6. Have you made recent changes to your establishment (moving, upgrade, downgrade, new software, new router, etc.)?
    7. Have you tried using a different USB/Ethernet cable?
    8. You see messages of error codes and if so, what they say and where do you see them?

If you have trouble, let me know and I'll do my best to help.

  • LJ 1536 and Wireless Bridge: prints and scans but lost connection Toobox ePrint

I connected my 1536dnf LaserJet recently purchased by the Ethernet cable to a bridge wireless to allow printing and scanning from my wireless laptop. It works very well. However, for some reason any communication is no longer with the printer through box HP tools or ePrint, who both worked very well to install. My router main displays the address IP of the LJ 1536 as a connected device. Somehow, the bridge becomes a way? There not at the beginning. Is there anything else that could prevent these kinds of communication but not printing/scanning? Is there a setting to resolve that I've not found? I tried to put the default gateway of the LaserJet printer for the IP address of the gateway instead of the router, but that did not help. Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Hey dako,.

I would bypass the wireless bridge to see if it is causing the problem. Let me know what you find?

  • "Lexmark S600 Series is currently in use. Wait until the printer has finished printing and then uninstall. »

    Original title: Lexmark printer

    Hello

Thank you for helping me to get my laptop working again - after contacting the Microsoft Community, Microsoft and my ISP, my email seems to work so I can get all my incoming messages.

But I'm still having a problem printing.  I tried to uninstall the Lexmark S605 and I get the message error "series Lexmark S600 is currently in use.  Wait until the printer has finished printing and then uninstall. "I get this message even if the printer is turned off and unplugged.

Before I tried to uninstall, I tried to update the drivers from the Lexmark site and it says the update was successful, but nothing prints.  Printer is no longer supported by Lexmark.  Wireless connects, but I have also tried to make it work using the USB connection.

Printer print wireless from office, but not my laptop.

Does anyone have an idea on how to uninstall the Lexmark program?

    Thank you

    Agnes

You have McAfee? McAfee has been updated at the same time as the last batch of updates from Windows 7 and it seems to be the cause of this problem for most, if not all, users.

See the communication from this "criticism" - McAfee

Some customers may experience a loss of network connectivity and/or errors in McAfee Security Center after a recent update

You should make the fix McAfee, if necessary. There are corresponding communications for their enterprise products.

I got McAfee, but the connection has started working again on its own so I thought I was clear of problems. However, when I checked it says he was doing routine checks the updates in vain when I told it to do a manually. So stick with McAfee you don't follow their procedure of fix would have upgraded my PC at risk by not updated and, like other McAfee ads have since explained, the application did not refer to its database of threats correctly [and this could explain part of the variability of the symptoms of failure but all involved loss of internet connection]. Actually, I removed McAfee then installed Microsoft Security Essentials rather & my answer IE is faster I knew it [even though I had the Add-ons McAfee disabled for centuries].

I had to run the removal of McAfee Development tool a few times before and it caused a problem with the license if the PC was not connected to the internet during the abduction. Due cat of McAfee support reset their files in order to allow the relocation-reactivation. Here is their link cat - McAfee - media contains the link to the cat

  • Printer and Apple device ceased to communicate.

This is a post for members who have an apple device, who worked previously with their printer and nowhere, they have stopped working.  They are now no longer able to AirPrint.  Here are some basic steps to take to the printer and the Apple device on the rails. The following steps assume that the hads printer paper in the tray, and the printer, the device and the router are with the correct range / distance or in the same room.

1 check the settings of devices Apple to make sure that it is on the same network as the printer. This is required for AirPrint feature.  To check the settings of an iPad:

    • Press the settings icon
    • Tap the Wi - Fi option
    • Check to ensure that Wi - Fi is on makse
    • Check that, under Choose a network that is activated by the same network you know the printer is on.
    • Make sure that ask to join networks is on
    • Although not necessary if you go through all the steps and find that it will not be printed, you can also disable Bluetooth
    • Clear the print jobs from the print queue on your device iOS by tapping twice on the home button. The Print Center should appear at the bottom of the screen. Select Print Center and clear print jobs by sliding your finger on each job and select 'delete '.
    • Try printing again

    2. If it still does not, make sure that they will not get out of sync. Turn off the router, printer, and device from Apple. To do this, follow these steps:

    • Turn off the router. You will need to pull the power cord out of it, because many routers do not have a power switch.
    • Turn off the printer by pressing the power button. Then turn off the Apple device by holding the sleep/wake button (on top when the home button is down) until a Red slider appears on the screen. Once the slider appears, move the slider to the right to turn the unit off.
    • Wait a minute then turn the router on the 1st, and wait until all the lights on the router are back on.
    • Then turn the apple device and printer.
    • Once everything is back on and functioning, try to print.

I hope that the community find this is useful if their Airprint fails. Good impression!
