  Good evening

  I have a big problem. We have a network HP LaserJet M4345 MFP printer. It is connected to a switch and the switch is connected to a Modem of Telmex.  It has a static IP address. 5 computers to connect to this printer, but I'm going to use one as a sample.

  The problem is that I can't print anything.

  • I can install the printer in all computers
  • I ping the printer
  • I can access the printer configuration using a browser
  • I can even scan a document

  But I can still print the test page. We have a static IP and it does not repeat the IP address, the host name is unique and date everything is fine. I tried to ping to test for the default gateway and it a ping with a correct response time.  So:

  • The configuration of the printer can be accesed via browser
  • The computer can ping the printer
  • I can scan a document to the PC
  • The printer installs very quickly in all machines
  • The printer can ping the default gateway
  • The IP address and the host name are unique

  What could be the problem? I tried to print in all the machines without success.

  It is possible that the network adapter has a problem but since it's your only work around would be to buy a direct jet EIO card and put in the EIO slot in the back near where the network cable is plugged.  They are fairly cheap on ebay and you want to buy a 610N, 615N or 620N one of these models will work.  You must assign an ip address that is different from the one assigned to the integrated card.  I think that there is a way to disable the built in network card, but I have to carry out additional research on that.  If you have an old hp printer that you do not use with a network card eio, even if older 600N it will work in this printer.

  I have a strange problem with my HP laserjet m1212nf mfp printer after updating to Windows 10 on PC1

  Updates are made, tried to reinstall ect.

  Now, when I tried to print it says required attantion

  But if something is that on PC1 and I decided to print from another pc and any operating system then Quebec on the prints of PC1.

  Uninstalled the printer one again, then when you search for printers I chose that the printer was not on the list (although is has)

  Installed by using the IP address of the printer, after that, it will ask if you want to keep the driver or replace by the network (that) printer and success problem printing free driver

  Okay, so I went in the Word doc and the field code displays page numbers as "Page [PAGE] of [NBPAGES]." I noticed the field shading has been defined "when selected", so I changed that to "always." I printed a document and the page numbers now correctly read!

  I also tried to use interface devices and printers after restart the computer by selecting Add Printer option, it seemed to have installed the printer but it couldn't print the test page. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  Printer navigate through the Setup menu using the left and right arrows and locate the Service menu.

  Search for HP Smart Install option in the Service menu (it may appear and may not be no depanding on the version of your printer), if it is there, select Disable for HP Scmart Install.

  In your PC click on the right button on the start menu and select Control Panel, then select View devices and printers.

  Do not forget to remove any icon (the M127 or any other driver HP) HP printer by clicking the icon and selecting Remove the device, and then restart the computer.

  Go back to the devices and printers any queue remains left by clicking once, then select press the print server properties in the top menu bar.

  Select any listed HP printer driver and select Remove, make sure to select the 2nd option to delete the printer and its driver package.

  From the control panel home, type "change device Installation settings and open the option, then select No and confirm with OK."

  Now, try to reinstall the most recent drivers and check for the difference.

  Thank you for your participation in the forums! I see that you have problems installing the printer software and you tried latest drivers with the same results. I'd love to help you.

  This can also occur when the printer is already recognized as the USB connection and windows does not yet detect.

  Remove the USB cable plugged in, remove the printer in the devices and printers (if the list) and the Device Manager.

  To access the Device Manager:

  Press the windows key and press X on the keyboard at the same time on the desktop.

  Then click on Device Manager in the list.

  Verify that connections in Device Manager for the entries of the printer, under Bus USB controllers look for a USB print media or anything with a yellow exclamation point or an unknown device. Right click and uninstall the device.

  Let me know if and how the printer was listed.

  Then reconnect the USB cable and it must be detectable again.

  If you're still having problems, unplug the USB cable, run uninstall and reinstall the printer software again. Do not connect the USB cable until you are prompted during the installation.

  My office has a printer HP LaserJet 1536dnf MFP printer and copy machine and it's only last month a year.  This morning the computer was printing and copy fine, then in the middle of a print job 21 page pages begins to show the 4 brands of blackshadow - like on the right side of the page (starting at the top and down to about 4 inches before printing the next black shadow).  Sometimes copying and printing.  I tried to reset the printer by unplugging the power for 10 minutes.  I tried to clean it with cleaning setting.  So far, nothing has worked.

  The issue might have to do with the toner drum, but could be a piece of paper stuck on the fuser unit.

  First of all, I would like to make it clear: I do not work for any hardware vendor or software. Your printer worked perfectly for a few years or even decades, and now it won't do nothing or very little about due to a new operating system. Microsoft, Apple will never say "WARNING: using this new product, your existing hardware may NOT work at all. They say that their new product blah blah will... They promise everything and then put all the misfortune, blame for hardware vendors. I believe that the development of new products is a lot cheaper than the technical support of the former products and each product must have a life cycle and must die loudly or quietly operating systems will kill our faster hardware. Many people simply upgrade to a love of the 'cutting edge', never know and/or research what will work the investments existing at home or not.
