printer 'starting' loop

HP psc 1510 AIO

This achieved as a throw to a computer store I volunteer to. the reason for it is that a throw if he would come, the Panel would light up, quality indicator would increase from 1-star to 3, then all lights would Flash and then turns off. a couple seconds later, come back and go through the process again. I fiddled with it for a while and concluded that the only way it would work was to unplug the scanner the printer Ribbon. with the Ribbon is connected, I get the 'boot' in a loop. unplugged, the printer works perfectly. I don't have much need to scan, so no big deal. However, he was curious why she did this. Thank you.

Hello

Most likely a fault in the scanner, the device does not trigger the scanner gives an error and tries again. That is why the loop.

  • C6180: To avoid damage, use the power button / shutdown - message does not disappear and the printer is looping

I have problems with my printer since arriving to a new home. I stop the printer before removing the cable, but seems could have pulled the power cable earlier than closing down.

Since that time, the printer is looping with message "to avoid damage to use the off button /...» "- How do I stop and work again.

    Please help!

    Thank you.

    Heck!

I was really hoping that would not be the issue.

    So, if I understand it, the question you receive looks like this;

"It lights up and shows the HP logo and process bar animation for one minute, followed by the message:"abnormal termination. "  To avoid damage use on the button to turn off the printer.  Do not use a wall or the band switch to close.  Press OK.  Then he stops and leaves upward. »

    Try this:

    1. If the printer is still on, unplug all rigid and flexible cables at the back of the printer.

2 unplug the power cord also from the wall...

    3. wait for two minutes.

4 reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet first.

    5. hold the pound (#) and six 6 buttons.

    6. all by pressing the two buttons, reconnect the power cord to the back of the printer and at the end of two seconds, exit book and six buttons.

    7. turn on the printer if it goes out...

Third times the charm, right? * fingers crossed *

  • Pavilion HPE: when PC starts the printer starts printing a document

I have a printer HP Photosmart 5520. For a few days every time when I start my PC, the printer automatically starts printing a document. It's always the same document.

I think it's something that remains in the memory.

I can't get out. Passing off the coast and on the printer does not help. There is no wainting documents to print.

    Hi @ivux,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you the same document continues to print on your printer Photosmart HP 5520. I would be glad to help and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

I see that when restart you the computer does not resolve the issue, I know how it must be frustrating for you.

Is the document something that you sent to print already or is it a diagnosis for the printer page?

If the document is one of your own, it is probably corrupted. To try to resolve this, please follow the steps in the order presented.

    Delete the task and restart

Whenever a print job is sent to the printer, a file is created in Windows. Sometimes, these files are corrupted and causing problems. To reset your printing environment, remove these print job files manually and restart the computer and the printer.

  • Everytime I turn on my printer, printer starts to do the alignment of toner

Everytime I turn on my printer, after a few minutes it starts to do the alignment of toner. I think that the alignment must be done that when I change the toner, I'm good? So I think that this alignment whenever I turn it on can be kind of a problem. Any suggestions to fix this?

    Printer model: HP CM1415fnw all-in-One

It's probably the default action (I don't know about you, since I don't have one of these printers).

Via the integrated Web server (that is to point your browser to the IP address of the printer), look for the System. Print quality menu.

Check or change the values for the calibration of market (default = 15 minutes) and the calendar of calibration (default = 48 hours) points.

  • printer starts, stops and starts again

My printer will start printing a page then stop for 20 seconds and then resume printing the page

This can be caused by the failure of one of your cartridges.  Remove the black print cartridge and print a test page (there will be an error message about the missing cartridge, but it still needs to print).  The printer prints at a normal speed?  Is therefore the black cartridge was the issue and needs to be replaced.  If it isn't then, put the black back cartridge in and remove the color cartridge and the test page printed.  If the printer now prints speed the color cartridge is responsible and must be replaced.

  • C6180 print starts, then stops

I have a HP Pavilion m1270n desktop, computer for Windows Vista 3 1/2 years.  The printer is a HP C6180 AIO connected via USB, which worked well, since Vista was installed.  3 weeks ago suddenly impression will start, print about an inch, and the paper is ejected.  The screen of the printer will continue say "print...". ' for some minutes and then finish.  The print job shows '1' in the print queue, but he goes then to the '0' after it is sent to the printer.

When I run the HP Print diagnostic utility, he said everything out ok.

Scanning does not work either.  HP scan Diagnostic Utility fails on the check of driver with the answer that the scan driver is missing or damaged.

It seems that it is not a problem of printer hardware.  I installed the complete package printer from the site Web of HP on a Dell laptop, connected the USB cable to it and I am in a position of print and scan successfully.

I am able to print by setting up as a network printer via ethernet to my Verizon FiOS router connection, but I didn't get scanning to work again by this method.

Norton 360 is installed and its programs anti-virus and firewall are active.

Windows Update is set to automatic.  I was able to print 4 days after the latest updates have been installed.

    I did the following:

+ Uninstalled the software complete printer many times and downloaded the latest version of HP.  Still not correctly print or scan.

+ Run Norton 360 registry cleaner.

+ Run Malware Anti-Malware bytes, who found and fixed a few things, including Trojan.Win32.

    Generic! BT.

+ Run the latest version of Ad-Aware, which found and fixed elements.

+ Using Device Manager, uninstalled concentrators root USB and let a restart to add them in.

+ Using the Manager of devices, updated drivers for all of the elements listed under Bus USB controllers.

+ Bought and ran software DriverUpdate, who has updated a half dozen or more pilots for various functions.

+ Search the computer for any program or any updates that might be installed just before the beginning of the problem.

All of the above attempts included several reboots of the HP m1270n desktop computer.  I rebooted with selective startup, with only loading system services.  I restarted with start diagnosis.  Nothing has worked.

A Logitech webcam works on the same USB port where the printer does not work.  I tried several USB ports, nothing helps.

Maybe it's a failure of USB hardware on the motherboard.

    Any ideas?

    Ok!

For the USB connection, you can try this insert a hub (powered) usb from the printer and the PC. This will reduce the power load being requested by the USB port through the printer.

Reconnect to your router via ethernet (who Yes said earlier seemed to print very well but did not analyze a) and use the scan work arounds described in the document of HP I provied a link below.

  • HP Envy Phoenix 810 desktop: Hp Envy Phoenix start loop

I have a new HP Envy Phoenix Office - 3 weeks. I had the boot loop after the first few days and there are still a few days. Both times, the computer has been re-set to factory conditions. In the meantime, I got the blue screen of death - which was resolved with the support on the website.  Reinstall all the programs is tedious - and tracking down licenses for anti-virus programs that I use etc.

The latest HP support, stated that the HP updates have now the same as the windows updates - and activate updates. I disabled updates of HP but not windows.

Support has been nice, but I'm worried that the computer is missing something.  It has a 250 GB SSD - 32 GB of Ram.  I have 3 years warranty at home.

I asked the technician, if this seems to be a hardware or software problem. No response says.  I had a lot of HP products but never this experience.

    Thank you

  • How can I get my printer start printing again? C3100 series all-in-one

This printer just printing used more. He does al kinds of noises and is able to do a testpage.

    That's all it does.

Looks like you may have a problem with the software to communicate correctly with your printer.

I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the software.

Here is a document detailing the correct way to uninstall the software:

    Uninstalling the printer software

And here is a document describing how to install the software correctly. I've also included a link to the latest version of the software below that.

Installation of the software of the printer in Windows 7 for a USB cable connection

HP Photosmart full feature software and drivers

After that, report to me and let me know if this helped solve your problem or not.

  • 2350 HP All in one printer printing starts but stops in the middle of printing

on light flashing and the screen on the printer says "prints".

Your best bet is to resolve this in the forums HP here: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/psg/?category.id=InkJet&lang=en&cc=us.  You can search for "2350.

If this should happen to me, I want to remove the printer in WIndows, turn the printer off, pull the plug, then back on the power and reinstall it in Windows.
